REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF LT UNDERGROUND CABLES LT PANELS LT OH LINES AND ALLIED WORKS UNDER GE (N) AT MIL STN PATIALA

Amount

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil including removing green vegetation, roots, bushes,etc from surrounding of LT feeder Boards/Poles/substations etc complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1,5 mtr in depth for laying of cables errecting of pole including getting out in any kind of soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item no. 02 herein above but exceeding more than 1.5 m in depth.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, and well ramming, in layers not exceeding 25 cm each layer of any kind of soil.

Removing surplus excavated material from site not exceeding 50 mtrs from starting point and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point.

Clean dry sand laid in trenches/ducts for bedding and cushioning to cable, including spreading and leveling complete, all as specified. Note:-(i) Consolidated/punned sand shall be considered for purpose of payment.(ii) Sand shall be same as specified for plastering work.

M&L for taking out electric cable of any size and description from trenches/pipe/duct, including protection bricks and complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Bricks and cable as retrived shall be deposited to MES store yard (ii)Earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.

M & L for precast concrete cable covers type 2 flat, size 250mmx180mmx40mm laid dry in trenches for cable protection all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for re-laying for serviceable under ground cable of any size/capacity in trenches including testing and making all connections complete with necessary gland, Thimbles, bushing etc as per site requirement all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Chage. Note : (i) Serviceable Cable will be re used as retrieved from item No 7 above

Supply and laying in trenches through pipe under culvert or in air cable XLPE insulated PVC sheathed heavy duty 1100 volts grade stranded aluminum conductor size 10 Sqmm 2 core complete specified and directed. Note –necessary excavation and returning filling ,sand cushioning and PCC cover protection shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule.

Supply and laying in replacement in trenches through pipe under culvert or in air cable PVC insulated PVC sheathed heavy duty 1100 volts grade stranded aluminum conductor size 25 Sqmm 4 core complete specified and directed. Note for item no. 11 to 15 herein below–necessary excavation and returning filling ,sand cushioning and bricks protection shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule.

Supplying and laying Cable PVC insulated and PVC sheathed armored heavy duty single core of size 300 Sqmm 1100 volts grade incl connecting with swtich gear/transformer along with appropriate rated aluminium cable lugs heavy duty. Note: necessary excavation and returning filling shall be measured and paid separately item of schedule

Supply and erecting in replacement LT PCC pole 9 Mts long cross sectional area 102 mm x 172 mm at top and 102x279 mm at bottom class 10 complying with requirement of relevent IS and painting the pole upto 5 feet from ground level with black and yellow alternate strip of 30 CM each with synthetic enamel paint incl removing of broken pole debris all as specified and directed by Enginner-in-Charge. Make - Fabric India Chandigarh or equivalent. Note: (Excavation ,PCC shall be measured and paid separately)

Supply and fix in replacement of stay assembly complete with all accessories with 19 mm dia stay rod all as shown in electricalplate No 1 of SSR Part-1 Note :- Loop type insulators, stay clamps excavation PCC will be measured and paid for separately. i) Pit for stay of size 1200x600x1200 mm ii) stay rod 20 mm dia 180 cm long. iii) stay plate 30cmx30cmx 6mm thick. iv) stay bow .

Supply and fixing in replacement of loop type insulators porclain shackle type vitreous white, brown or green of size 60x90mm overall dimension and 20mm clearence hole all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of stay wire galvanized iron stranded of size 7/3.15 mm,length of stay wire not exceeding 11 mtrs with each stay and fixed to stay and pole including tightening complete all as specified and directed.

M&l for Cross arms bracing supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shapes or sizes as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat,one under coat and one finishing coat of paint.

Supply and fixing of ACSR conductor Weasel to dog (6/1/2.59 to 6/1/4.72) any size to be drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including binding with insulators. Weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distance between centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag ,jointing jumpers,etc complete all as specified and directed,however stringing of ACSR Conductor has been Considered in the respective item of Sch A

Taking down carefully aluminium conductor of any size from LT over head lines, after unbinding from insulators for replacement of multi -jointed /undersize conductors or loose conductors also Restringing/ restretching to dismantled serviceable ACSR complete Note:- (i) replacement of conductor shall be measured and paid under respective item of sch . (ii) total no of conductors in over head line to be taken down shall comprise a maximum of three phase, one neutral ,one street light/security light for measurement length of each conductor shall be taken separately.

Taking down carefully galvanized iron steel wire drawn straight horizontal as continuous earth wire on existing LT poles of size 4.0 mm dia from LT over head lines, after unbinding from insulators for replacement incl Restringing/ restretching to dismantled serviceable G I wire. Note:- Replaced G I wire shall be measured and paid under respective item supply only of sch for measurement length of each wire shall be taken separately.

Supply only galvanized iron steel wire drawn straight/ horizontal as continuous earth wire on existing LT poles of size 4.0 mm dia .

M&L for replacement of shackle type porcelain vitreous, white brown or green insulator for working pressure 1.1 kv of size 100mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of section 38 x5 mm size ,20 mm dia bolt nut and washers complete all as specified and directed .

Demolition of concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for complete all as directed by Engineer –in- Charge

M&L for Painting to existing PCC pole of any type with Black and yellow synthetic enamel paint over existing paint up to 1.5 m height from bottom alternatively strips 30 cm each including painting of ,clamps, nut, bolts with aluminum paint including providing pole number with white enamel paint and 100 mm dia (round) background of blue enamel paint at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Paint to existing steel tubular pole of any type complete with two coat of aluminium synthetic enamel paint from bottom to top of the pole inculding black and yellow paint upto 1.5 Mtr height from bottom alernaterely strip 30 cm each including providing pole number with white enamel paint and 100 mm dia (round) background of blue enamel paint at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair chain link fencing with post and door frame arrangement for LT panel/two pole structure/four pole structure/etc of height 7 feet complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for replacement of shackle type porcelain vitreous, white brown or green insulator for working pressure 1.1 kv of size 100mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of section 38 x5 mm size ,20 mm dia bolt nut and washers complete all as specified and directed .

Meterial and labour for making locking provision to the LT panel board of any size/type by providing MS flat iron 25x6 mm up to lengh 15cm duly welded to the both front and back door duly holed for making provision for lock including welding of brocken/unserviceable hinges/mounting arrangements of doors and matching with enamel paint of existing colour on the disturbed surfaces and providing pad lock not less than 75mm with triplicate key complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Chrage.
