Material and Labour for surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep, getting out in soft/loose soil, including removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metres, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.50 metres wide and not exceeding 1.50 metres in depth for foundations, etc., or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc., not exceeding 10 square metres on plan and not exceeding 1.50 metres in depth, getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for returning filling, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for removing excavated soil not exceeding 50 metres lead and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 metres above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for hardcore of broken stone or boulders of gauge not exceeding 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Cement Concrete 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, as sub-base of floors, mass concrete and the like, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) 1:3:6, Type B-1, using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, in foundations and filling as mass concrete, including mixing, laying, compacting, finishing, and curing, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Cement Concrete 1:2:4, Type B-2, using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, in surface channels and drains, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Cement Concrete 1:2:4, Type B-0, using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, in lintels up to 1.50 metres clear span, sills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth, string and lacing courses, parapets and railings up to 60 cm in height, copings, benching, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like, including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles, throating, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for precast cement concrete 1:2:4, Type B-1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, in kerb stones, quoin blocks, apex stones, etc., set in cement mortar 1:4, including formwork, weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
