Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

All kinds of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand(zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III): 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement :

1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :

1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Extra for laying concrete in or under water and/or liquid mud including cost of pumping or bailing out water and removing slush etc.,complete. Note for item No. SR Code 4.15 :- The quantity will be calculated by multiplying the depth measured from the sub-soil water level up to centre of gravity of concrete under sub-soil water level with quantity of concrete in cum executed under sub-soil water. The depth of centre of gravity shall be reckoned correct to 0.1m. 0.05m or more shall be taken as 0.1m and less than 0.05m ignored.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete.

Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

6 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand)

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Dry stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface complete.

Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm. depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth with lead upto 50 metres.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG - 10 including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications :

On W.B.M. @ 0.75 Kg / sqm.

On bituminous surface @ 0.50 Kg / sqm.

2.5 cm thick bitumastic sheet with hot bitumen of approved quality using stone chippings (60% with 12.5 mm nominal size and 40% with 10 mm nominal size) @ 1.65 cum per 100 sqm and coarse sand @ 1.65 cum per 100 sqm of road surface and with bitumen @ 56 kg/cum of stone chippings and @ 128kg/cum. of sand over a tack coat with hot straight run bitumen including consolidation with road roller of 8 to 10 tonne etc. complete. (tack coat to be paid separately) :

With paving Asphalt grade VG - 30.

Painting road surface marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to IS : 164, on bituminous surface in white/yellow shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete.

New work (Two or more coats).

Supplying & Banking excavated earth (brought from out side for and average lead of 3.00 KM) in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with ½ tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers, and rolling every 3rd and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes and dressing up in embankments for roads, flood banks, marginal banks and guide banks etc., lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m :

Providing, laying and spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specified sizes to WBM specifications including spreading in uniform thickness, hand picking, rolling with 3 wheeled road/vibratory roller 8-10 tonne in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/binding materials to fill up interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting of the required density. (Rate is inclusive of all materials, labours, machineries etc.)

Sub-base with stone aggregate 90mm to 45mm including stone screening 13.20mm.

Sub-base with stone aggregate 63mm to 45mm including stone screening 13.20mm.

Sub-base with stone aggregate 53mm to 22.40mm including stone screening 11.20mm.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 40-60 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 35 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of Grading-II premixed with bituminous binder of grade with 60/70 bitumen (VG-30) @3.30 Percent of mix, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per Clause 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction.

Providing cofferdam 3.00 Mtr height to check the water entry for excavation with bitumen drum sheet or equavalent fixed/ supportted with wooden ballies 10cm or bottoms of equavalent section placed vertically etc. 060 Mtr c/c and horizontally @ 0.50 Mtr c/c fixed with nails etc. placing inside with earth/ gravel/ binder filled with gunny bags involvingall operation including bailing outwater by any method in necessary to check the water entry as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing 65mm dia PVC pipe for weep hole.
