Excavation of cable trench as per cable route Kilometre plan, 1.2 Mtr. deep and of 0.3 Mtr. to 0.6 Mtr. wide at bottom and refilling of the trench without Bricks and final back filling, ramming and consolidation of soil as well as the disposal of the soil, if any. This work includes clearing of route from bushes etc, covering of cable laid in trench by loose soil for a layer of 50mm thickness approximately. Note: Payment will be made as per actual work done on pro-rata basis, if the required depth is not available at site. If the depth of trench is not uniform in a span of 100 mtr. of shorter lengths along the cable run, minimum depth will be taken for that particular stretch for payment. Prior permission should be taken before laying of cable if the depth of trenching is less than 1.0 Mtr. Inspection: Consignee. ASANSOL DIVISION-S AND T/EASTERN RLY

Supply of GI pipe with threaded coller of Metre 50mm nominal dia. (3.6mm thickness) as per IS Spec. No.IS:1239 Part-I: 2004, medium grade, perforated of required length. This includes supply of all materials required for fixing arrangement. At the ends of GI pipe, flexible/corrugated HDPE pipe will be provided by contractor to protect cables from sharp edges & sudden bends. Inspection: Consignee.

Fixing of GI Pipe of required length at all road Metre crossing/track crossing which fall on cable route & laying of telecom cable through them & also on bridge/below mettaled road/L- Xing/culvert/track crossing for laying of cable through it. This also includes installation of all materials required for fixing arrangement. At the ends of GI pipe, flexible/corrugated HDPE pipe will be provided by contractor to protect cables from sharp edges & sudden bends. Inspection: Consignee.

Laying of Telecom cable including meggering Kilometre of all laid cable as per instruction of site engineer. (Cables will be meggered before and after its laying by contractor under supervision of Railway Representative and he will submit the meggering report of each testing). Length of the cable laid includes the length of the cable coiled for termination purposes. Inspection: Consignee.

Execution of Thermo Shrink Jointing Kit as per Numbers site engineer's instruction at various location. Cable jointing shall be carried out at site as per the detailed procedure suggested by RDSO approved manufacturers of thermoshrink jointing kit for 6-Quad cable. Jointing kit will be supplied by Railway. Inspection: Consignee.

Supply of Thermo-shrink Jointing (TSF-2) Kits Numbers for PIJF Underground Telecom Cable of different pair sizes 5/10/20/50/100 Pairs with copper conductors dia. 0.5mm, 0.63mm or 0.9mm conforming to RDSO Draft Specification No. RDSO/SPN/TC/57/2015 Rev.1, Amd.1.0 or latest. Inspection: Consignee.

Cement concrete work for miscellaneous cum items in the ratio 1: 3: 6. Item includes excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with cement & sand mixture (aggregate not exceeding 3.8 cm.) (Aggregate cement & sand to be supplied by the contractor). Wherever depth of 0.5 m cable trench is not feasible, cable shall be protected as: - Preparation of cement mixture 1:3:6 with contractor's own materials and spreading cement concrete mixture layer of 100 mm thick over the already laid cables in the excavated trench. Earthwork in filling in embankment, guide cum bunds, around buried type abutments, bridge gaps, trolley refuges, rain bunds if provided, platforms etc. with earth excavated from outside railway boundary entirely arranged by the contractor at his own cost as per RDSO's latest guidelines and specifications and special condition of contract including all leads, royalty, lifts, ascents, descents, crossing of nallahs or any other obstructions. The rates shall include all dressing of bank to final profile, demarcation and setting out of profile, site clearance, removing of shrubs, roots of vegetations growth, heavy grass, benching of existing slope of old bank, all handling/re-handling. Taxes, Octroi and royalty etc. as a complete job. Cut trees shall be property of railways and to be deposited in the railway godown unless specified otherwise in the Special conditions of contract.

Boring under Metalled Road/Railway track for Metre crossing of Telecom cables.Boring to be done for crossing road/rail at 1 mtr depth & after boring min. 2" dia G.I pipes are to be inserted & cable to be laid through the pipes. Required GI pipe will be supplied by Railway.

Providing brick masonry in ratio 1:6 cement cum and mortar including plastering with 1:4 cement and sand mixture both sides, 20 mm thick each with contractor's owned class II bricks, including excavation, curing, grouting, bolting etc. wherever required. Bricks, sand and cement to be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of half size apparatus case (As per as Numbers per RDSO drawing No. RDSO/S-11507). This includes supply of location box (GKP type) with 'E' type lock & key, fitted on location door on both side, E Type lock (ward No will be specified by Engineer-in Charge) as per RDSO Drg. No. SA 3376 and Key to Drg. No. 3377 as per RDSO drawing No. RDSO/S- 11507. Inspection: Rites.

Casting, concreting and curing of concrete Numbers foundation (in ratio 1:3:6), erection and installation of half size apparatus case (GKP type) Apparatus Case as per DRG.NO. RE/S&T/SIG/TENDER /SK/8/85 with 'E' type lock on CC foundation. This includes cost of all materials required for fixing holding down bolts, casting, concreting. Note: - bolts, nuts and washers, bitumen compound to be supplied by contractor and bitumen compound to be used in between apparatus case and foundation as per site engineer. This also includes bottom of apparatus cases filled with sand and the outside covered with masonry work and neat cement plastering. Note: - Location boxes to painted with anti- corrosive paints as per IS: - 9862-1981, one and half feet from the bottom, on all surfaces- both inside and outside. Inspection: Consignee. Fixing, wiring of terminal strips, hylam strip, Numbers relays, fuses with base and supply and fixing of shelves for half apparatus case with termination earthing of cables and wiring with lettering as required including supply of slotted angles, wires, ferrules for marking and miscellaneous materials per location to be supplied by contractor. (all materials except relay, terminal strips, Bakelite strip, fuses with base and hard wood shelves to be supplied by the contractor). Wires to be used for this purpose should be procured from RDSO's approved firm and to be inspected by RDSO. [quantity of wires to be specified by contractor]. Supply, Transportation at site and Installation Numbers 4000.00 of RCC cable route marker engraved and painted with Yellow color on both side along the route at every 30 meter and at route diversion. The cable marker shall be as per ER Drg No.S.I.-S&T/1/2024 Vide ER Technical Circular: 108 (attached) or latest. The fixing work is to be done as per extant practice of E. Rly. and as per Railway site supervisor.

Excavation,trenching and earth work for Road Metre crossing and Repair of pacca road to original state after cable laying work. Depth of trench should not be less than 1 mtr. This work to be done as per instruction of Rly. Site engineer. All materials (except cable, GI Pipe) required for the execution of the work shall be supplied by the contractor. Note: If required depth can not be achieved at particular location, then alternative location to be selected as per instruction of Rly. site engineer.

Excavation of trench(1.0 mtr. depth from Metre bottom of rail), earth work and re-instatement of track while track crossing for laying of cables. This work to be done as per instruction of Rly. Site engineer. All materials (except cable, GI Pipe) required for the execution of the work shall be supplied by the contractor. Transportation accessories including handling of stores materials, preparation of site and boring (boring size upto 175mm) for laying of (i) three (03) nos. Of 40mm HDPE pipes & one (1) 50mm HDPE pipe or as per site engineer for placing and for crossing of signalling /telecom. Cable through HDPE pipe at bridges/ culverts/ track crossing/ pucca road crossing, boring trench shall be minimum 03 (three) meter below the river bed and 01(one) meter below the track/road/pucca road crossing area. This includes supply of permanently lubricated HDPE telecom. Ducts (i) 40mm/33mm & 50mm/42mm (with chord) as per RDSO SPEC. NO. RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013 REV. 2.0 with latest amendments or as per specification no. TEC GR. NO. G/CDS-08/02, NOV.2004 OR LATEST. For each km. of HDPE duct the following items are to be supplied (a) end plugs - 02 nos. (b) cable sealing plugs - 02 nos. (c) plastic couplers slip fit / push fit type - 02 nos. (d) end plugs to be provided along with drum - 02 nos. Note: - cost of fuel and all other items which will be required for laying of cable through HDPE pipe. The work shall be executed as per site engineer.

Supply of Disconnect Terminal Block, screw Numbers 1000.00 less type, 4-wire front entry (Two in-put & Two out-put) as per RDSO Spec.RDSO/SPN/189/2004, ver.3.0. The color will be decided by Engineer - in - Charge. (Preferably In Blue, Red & Grey Colors in the ratio of 1:2:3). Note: Material will be procurred from RDSO Approved vendor. Inspection: Consignee.

Supply of End plate 2.5mm/0.091 in thick as Numbers 1000.00 per site requirement. Inspection: Consignee.

Supply of End Stopper 10mm/0.0394 in width Numbers 1000.00 as per site requirement. Inspection: Consignee.

Supply of Carrier Rails for above 35mm x Metre 7.5mm, 1mm/0.039 in thickness un-slotted type as per site requirement. Inspection: Consignee.

Termination of Outdoor Cables (Main Cables Per /tail cables) at both ends in location boxes, Conductor cable termination rack in OFC Room, relay room, station building, generator room etc. The item includes dressing of cables and wires with dressing threads as per standard practice. All fixing material required for this item will be supplied by contractor. The outdoor cable shall be terminated in OFC room, Relay Room, DG Room, ASM Room etc. under supervision and instructions issued by Engr. In-charge of the work. Inspection: Consignee.

All Fixing materials (1.2M x 1.2 M x 16 mm thickness ply wood board, casing, caping, screws, etc.) will be supplied by the contractor. wago terminal (Two in-put & Two out-put), separater & stoppers to be fixed on DIN Rail. Separater is to be fixed after each 6quad cable termination. Stopper is to be fixed on each side of DIN Rail after fixing 50nos. wago terminal on each DIN Rail. Total 28343289.24
