Excavation in trenches for laying under ground cable/ pipes errection of poles and stays etc in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc. as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness shall be considered for payment.

Taking down and relaying of existing serviceable GI tubing / connection in new or old position including cleaning, cutting, threading all as directed, along with new GI fittings where ever replaced and required at site of size 40 to 50 mm bore complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid seperately

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortor 1 : 4, complete, in walls all as specified and directed.

Clearing the bushes trunk girth not exceeding 10 CM and area around valve chambers upto 1.0 mtrs and depositing at a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs from starting point etc complete all as specified and directed

Material and Labour for Plain Cement Concrete (1:2:4), type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in Coping, bands benching etc including finishing the concrete surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement including necessary form work Complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour as in repair for Construction of Valve fit having inner dimensions 900 mm x 900 mm x 900 mm with foundation PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, brick work with sub class B old size bricks build in Cement mortar 1:6, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm stone aggregate for coping, 15 mm thick rendering plaster in CM 1:4 inluding MS cover with locking arrangement all as specified and as directed. Note :- Chamber Covers shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Material and labour for Fabricate supply and fix valve chamber covers made out of suitable size MS angle/MS plate/flat/rod, hinges, locking arrangement including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer including removimg existing unserviceable rusted cover all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for gland packing in leaking Sluice Valves of 100 mm dia size Complete including replacing/tightening the existing bolts and nuts etc. complete all as directed .

Material and labour for cleaning of valve pit chamber for sluice/gate valve of 50/80/100/150/200 size by removing mud/ grass/ sludge/ other waste material from the chamber and from surroundings upto 1mtr distance, carryout petty cement repairs with cement mortar 1:4, apply one coat of white wash on cemented surfaces and one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces to make it operator friendly valve chamber complete as specified and directed. Note :- Periodicity and locations of valve chambers will be given as per requirement by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Cutting DI pipes in position for insertion of new tees and socket of size 150 mm dia Complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Attending day to day water supply service related complaints like choking of rising main pipes of buildings, blockage in control valves/ float valves/ pipe fittings, etc, applying necessary engineering efforts like dismantle of pipes and fittings to clean and remove blocking objects, descaling of pipes, re-fixing of pipes on wall, etc to restore the proper flow of water to service tanks all as specified and directed.

Note :- (a) The contractor has to attend above mentioned job in any location of entire AFS jalahalli East and West area

(b) The service tanks are positioned on roof top of multi storied buildings upto three storey. Contractor is responsible to ensure that the labour employed should be equipped with safety items like industrial helmet, safety belt, extensible ladder of 40 feet length, plumbing and cuttings tools, etc.

(c) The cost of rethreading of GI pipes of 25mm dia and adding of new GI nipple of suitable length after rethreading is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(d) Due to shortage of water in the station, the repair work and testing required under this item need to be carried out during water supply distribution hours i.e. 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Nothing extra shall be permitted in this regard.

(e) The cost of repair to the damages of cemented surfaces/ external finishes/ metal clamps of rising pipes are also deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(f) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 6 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(g) If the delay is more than 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(h) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Supply and fix of PVC water tank 500 ltrs capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part-I ,complete all as directed incl disconnecting existing tank of any description and any capacity.

Supply and fix in repairs lids for polyethylene water storage tanks, threaded or hinged type as per existing incl PTMT nuts/binding wire complete all as specified and directed. Suitable for up to 1000Ltrs cap of water tanks.

Supply and fix in replacement PVC Ball valve ISI marked high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and fixed of size 20 mm complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix Nipple suitable for HDPE water tank.(Minimum weight 20 mm- 45gm) complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of service tanks of the capacity as mentioned below on roof top of bldgs upto three storey after disconnection from inlet and outlet pipe, removing of float valve of service tank and keep aside safely for reuse drain out water through drain plug, cleaning thoroughly to remove all scales and dirt by brushing internal surface, cleaning properly inside with soda wash, flushing out with fresh water, re-positioning of tank at same place, re-connecting inlet and outlet pipes, closing of drain plug, re-installation of float valve duly cleaned, writing/ labelling the record of cleaning carried out with white bold letter such as "TANK CLEANED ON"--------- (month and year), including removing creepers, vegitation and roots of plants, trees branches on or surrounding of service tank complete all as directed. Note:-(i) Unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for testing of water supply in tank both inlet and outlet flow during next supply hours early in the morning or late in evening. (ii) Contractor shall maintain a pucca bound register for cleaning carried out with date and obtain users signature and remarks if any and this register to be submitted alongwith RAR. (iii) Contractor is liable to rectify any damages to the external finishes of the bldg occured during the cleaning process, i.e. scrubbing and touch up with external paints as existing specifications. Unit rate quoted is deemed to be included the cost of the same. (iv) All sort of petty T&P items such as ladder, safety equipment, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to dept.

Chemical and physical analysis of water confirming to IS 3025 - 58 (2006) second revision of various locations at CQAE (WE) Area from any lab authorised by central/state govt for chemical analysis. The following test should be carried out :- (a) Bacteriological Quality of water (ref Table 6, Clause 4.1.1, IS 105000 : 2012 second revision) (b) General Parameters Concerning Substances of water (ref Table 2, Clause 4.0, IS 10500 : 2012 second revision) (c) Organoleptic and Physical Parameters of water (ref Table 1, Clause 4.0, IS 10500 : 2012 second revision) Note : Contractor shall collect the water sample and subbmit the test result to Engr-in-Charge as specified and directed.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 100 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD. (iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down. Supply and fix for GI pipe light grade 40 mm dia for cable protection on road crossings /plinth protection with fixed to the pole wall etc along with suitable fittings for cable protection of underground cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation,commissioning and testing of factory assembled ,floor mounted ,free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panels,with canopy ,as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycrabonate,should be weather vermin proof, anti -acid,anti-corrossive,UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1,fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11 ,UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties ,RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tight to base with thermoplastic screw having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosuser should be minimum 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel shall be fitted with one No. of polycarbonate IP 65 9 W LED transperent bulk head luminaire 6500K,PF > 0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance . Panel should be fitted outside with one No. of 16 Amp 3 Pole IP65 industrial socket and 01 No. of 32 Amp 5P IP 65 industrial socket. 3 Phase and neutral 400 Amp current carrying capacity of aluminium bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves with SMC/DMC insulators,complete with the following swtich gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggreate for bedding upto a height of 45 CM above ground level ,including dismanting and taking out old U/s LT panel board and reconnecting existing LT UG Cable with new panel board, complete all as specified and directed :-

(a) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 250 Amp, 36 KA - 01 No (Incomer). (b) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 63 Amp, 10 KA - 06 Nos. (c) MCB SPN of 240 V of capacity 40 Amps 10 KA - 02 Nos. (d) Multifunction Meter (V,I,PF) with suitable capacity of CT's - 01 No. (e) Indicating lamp (R-Y-B) set LED type with backup MCB for 3 Phase Supply - 01 set. (f) Space for spare feeder - 01 No. Note :- (i) The Contractor shall submit the drawing for approval of GE before executing the work. (ii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate. (iii) Make of Switch gear : Schneider/L&T/C&S. (iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs. (v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be as mentioned in list of makes (PS).

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 Amp by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ FURSE/ERICO.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

S&F in repair copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed. Note : - All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit, complete including taking down, old U/S pit cover complete all as specified and directed. Supply, installation,commissioning and testing of factory assembled ,floor mounted ,free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panels,with canopy ,as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycrabonate,should be weather vermin proof, anti -acid,anti-corrossive,UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1,fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11 ,UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties ,RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tight to base with thermoplastic screw having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosuser should be minimum 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel shall be fitted with one No. of polycarbonate IP 65 9 W LED transperent bulk head luminaire 6500K,PF > 0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance . Panel should be fitted outside with one No. of 16 Amp 3 Pole IP65 industrial socket and 01 No. of 32 Amp 5P IP 65 industrial socket. 3 Phase and neutral 400 Amp current carrying capacity of aluminium bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves with SMC/DMC insulators,complete with the following swtich gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggreate for bedding upto a height of 45 CM above ground level ,including dismanting and taking out old U/s LT panel board and reconnecting existing LT UG Cable with new panel board, complete all as specified and directed :-

(a) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 250 Amp, 36 KA - 01 No (Incomer). (b) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 125 Amp, 16 KA - 02 Nos. (c) MCB SPN of 240 V of capacity 40 Amps 10 KA - 02 Nos. (d) Soft Stater of capacity of 100 HP pump including suitable adjustable OLR relay , along with single phase preventer (e) Multifunction Meter (V,I,PF) with suitable capacity of CT's - 01 No. (f) Indicating lamp (R-Y-B) set LED type with backup MCB for 3 Phase Supply - 01 set. (g) Space for spare feeder - 01 No. Note :- (i) The Contractor shall submit the drawing for approval of GE before executing the work. (ii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate. (iii) Make of Switch gear : Schneider/L&T/C&S. (iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs. (v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be as per mentioned in list of makes (PS).

Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type upto 50mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed. Note (i) The Contractor is deemed to arrange necessary tools and equipments, removing or alteration of fittings from existing pipe lines, arragement of plugging devices, etc to build up specified pressure required to wash out the pipes. This will be inclusive in quoted rate. (ii) Excavation and earth work required will be measured and paid seperately. (iii) The flushing out will be carried out with fresh filled water of well only duly chlorinated with specified sodium hypochlorite solution to disinfect the pipe lines from all pathogens and Coliform organisms.This will be inclusive in quoted rate. (iv) If the delay is more then 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 200/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(iii) The flushing out will be carried out with fresh filled water of well only duly chlorinated with specified sodium hypochlorite solution to disinfect the pipe lines from all pathogens and Coliform organisms.This will be inclusive in quoted rate. (iv) If the delay is more than 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 200/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. Note :- An amount of Rs 86465.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
