SECTION-A (CIVIL WORKS)
TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY
To carry out detailed Topographic Survey covering specified plots/area of Despatch/Recieving Station, Tap-Off's and SV Stations and any other locations from approved agency and as directed by Engineer in Charge using survey instruments and giving complete details in the form of drawings (in the scale of 1:100) and reports in 4 copies on white paper sheets and CAD output on CD/DVD all complete as per specifications, drawings and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Tentative Number of Plots for Topographical Survey is 1 Nos.
GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION
Carrying out Drillling holes of 150mm dia. in all type of soil by shell and auger method upto a max. depth required or refusal strata (REFUSAL means when N> 100 for 30 cms of penetration) including recording of water table (if met with within the depth drilled) after completion of boring and conducting the required laboratory tests ( See Note ) from NABL or equivalent accredated labarotary as per ISO/IEC 17025 and as directed by Engineer in Charge including providing all manpower, tools, tackles, materials, survey equipments, drilling rigs, soil testing equipment, other equipments, other support facilities necessary for the survey and associated work and submitting Final Geotechnical Report (along with the soft copy) incorporating all field and laboratory data and recommending the type of foundation and the safe bearing pressure and/or Load bearing capacity of Pile (See Note) for the proposed sites, Drawings, Data etc. (One Lot) in an approved format drawings, approved QAP, implementation schedule and other provisions of the Tender Document and instructions of the Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Tentative Number of Plots for geotectnical investigation is 1 Nos.

1. Required Laboratory Test such as natural moisture content, liquid limit, plastic limit, shrinkage limit, dry and bulk density, specific gravity, particle size distribution by sieve and hydrometer analysis, triaxial compression test (undrained), permeability test, chemical test on soil samples and water samples, differential free swell test and direct shear test all as per Technical Specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
2. Safe bearing pressure at 1.5m , 2.0m and 2.5m below ground or at other depths for open and raft foooting.
3. Geotechnical design for pile up to 500mm dia, 30T Capacity end bearing/ skin friction type shall be recommended if required.
4. Existence of black cotton soil with swelling property and swelling index shall be reported with remedial measures.
5. RQD value of under laying strata encountered, shall be reported.
SITE CLEARANCE
DEMOLITION OF R.C.C./BRICKS/STONE MASONARY
Site clearance by demolition of R.C.C./PCC/Brickwork/Stone Masonry/Stone Soling, Flexible pavements etc. along with removing the debris and disposal of unserviceable material to any lead and staking of serviceable materials, handing over serviceable material to concerned department if required as per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
1. Rate includes cost of all labour, tools, tackles, hire charges, royalties, levies, leads, loading/unloading, transportation, water, electric power, illumination etc. complete in all respects as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
2. Demolition of RCC/PCC/Brick Masonry/Road will be paid in NET CUM as demolished.
TREE CUTTING
Tree cutting (only of girth more than 30 cm) along with removal of roots and stumps and handing over the same to Owner / Owner's Representative including paying royalties, disposal, taking approval from competent authorities etc. all complete, as per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
1.Rate includes cost of all labour, tools, tackles, hire charges, royalties, levies,loading/unloading, transportation, electric power, illumination and cost of handingover to owner/or his representative etc. complete in all respects as per scope of workand direction of Engineer-in-charge.
CLEANING VEGETATION
Cleaning bushes including uprooting of rank vegetation, green bush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cms (measured at a height of 1m above ground), stacking the serviceable materials and disposal of the same including rubbish etc. upto any lead and all lift as per specification and direction of the Engineer-n-charge. (payment will be made for actual site clearance area only).
EARTH WORK IN EXCAVATION/ SITE GRADING AND BACKFILLING
Earth work in excavation /site grading in all kinds of soil including soft rock in any plan dimension up to required depth including backfilling of excavated earth at any location within the plot in layers of 300mm and compacted up to 95% to its MDD at all heights and depths. Surplus and unserviceable earth shall be disposed up to 1km lead in all conditions. Soil to be levelled and neatly dressed complete in all respect as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, technical specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
1. This Rate shall be applicable only for excavation which are not included as a part of respective SOR Item.
3.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, shoring, bailing and pumping out water as required etc. with all bye works and sundry works complete in all respects.
4. NET CUM of excavated quantity in CUM shall be measured for payment.
5. To be read in conjunction with Particular Job Specification.
EARTH WORK IN EXCAVATION/ SITE GRADING IN HARD ROCK
Earth work in excavation in hard rock requiring blasting for all type and size of foundations in any plan dimension up to required depth including disposal of excavated material up to 1 km lead in all conditions, and disposal of surplus and unserviceable material. Surface to be leveled and neatly dressed complete in all respect as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
1. This Rate shall be applicable for excavation which are not included as a part of respective SOR Item.
2. The Contractor shall take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavation required for necessary working space, cutting in slopes etc., which may be required for excavation and other allied works as per requirement.
3. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, shoring, bailing and pumping out water etc. with all bye works and sundry works complete in all respects.
4. To be read in conjunction with Particular Job Specification.
EARTH WORK IN FILLING
Supply and Earth work in filling with good quality imported earth from approved source in the layers of 300 mm and compacted up to 95% to its MDD or as per direction of Engineer in charge up to required depth and any plan dimension including all testing, watering, rolling each layer with 8 tonne to 10 tonne roller in open area and by 1 tonne to 2 tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers in confind area, and dressing / filling up ground depressions etc. complete in all respect as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings , as per technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
1.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, cost of borrow earth by way of royalties, right of way, cess, and backfilling using serviceable earth in all conditions, etc.

SOLID CONCRETE BLOCKS
Providing and laying solid concrete block of Grade C 5.0 of IS: 2185 Part 1:2005 in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1cement : 4 sand) in steps, load bearing structures, drains, boundary wall below FGL or at any other location at all depths & height for all leads including providing required finishes, curing, scaffolding, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings with all bye-works as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
1.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such as minimum 43 grade cement (OPC), concrete blocks, finishes, bitumen, other minor construction materials, shuttering, staging, masonry work, excavation, plastering with 15 mm thick cement plaster on exposed faces with 1:4 cement mortar( 1 cement : 4 Sand) , etc. as per requirement with all bye-works and sundry works complete as per drawings.
2. To be read in conjunction with Particular Job Specification.
PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE
Supplying and laying plain cement concrete of grade M 15 with stone aggregate 20mm down grade (including shuttering if required) in all types of concrete works including aprons, levelling courses below foundations, mass concrete works, chambers, cable trench, under floors and any other locations, at all levels and locations (which are not covered as part of composite items) as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying and laying plain cement concrete of grade M 10 with stone aggregate 40mm down grade (including shuttering if required) in all types of concrete works including levelling courses below foundations, mass concrete works, chambers, cable trench, under floors and any other locations, at all levels and locations (which are not covered as part of composite items) as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
1.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials, shuttering in all conditions etc. with all bye works and sundry works.
2. To be read in conjunction with Particular Job Specification.
REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE IN SUB STRUCTURE WORKS
Providing and laying Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-25 with 20mm and down grade crushed stone aggregate in all types of sub-structures like foundations, beam, columns, pedestals, pedestal bases, pipe supports, sleepers, cable trench, RCC retaining wall foundation for boundary wall etc. including excavation, PCC M10 in mud mat, shuttering, construction joints, bitumen painting on surfaces in contact with soil,supplying and fixing MS inserts, finishes etc. at all depths and levels complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such as minimum 43 grade OPC/PPC cement including sulphate resistant cement for sub-structures, inserts, bolts, conduits, bitumen, excavation, PCC M-10 in mud mat, other minor construction materials, shuttering , staging, testing of concrete, curing etc. except reinforcement steel with all bye works and sundry works complete.
2. To be read in conjunction with Particular Job Specification.
REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE IN SUPER STRUCTURE WORKS
Providing and laying Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-25 with 20 mm and down grade crushed stone aggregate in all types of super-structures like columns, beams, except building superstructure if not covered elsewhere, shuttering, construction joints, supplying & fixing MS inserts, finishes etc. at all heights and levels complete as per drawings , specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such as minimum 43 grade OPC/PPC cement including sulphate resistant cement for super-structures, inserts, bolts, conduits, other minor construction materials, shuttering , staging, testing of concrete, curing etc. except reinforcement steel with all bye works and sundry works complete).
2. To be read in conjunction with Particular Job Specification.
REINFORCEMENT STEEL
Supplying and Fabricating and Fixing in position HYSD Steel Reinforcements/ TMT Grade Fe-415/Fe 500D conforming to IS1786-2008 at all levels and positions including the Cost of transportation, Straightening, Cutting, Bending, Cranking, Binding, Welding, Provision of necessary Chairs and Spacers, Preparation of bar bending schedule, getting the same approved by EIC etc., complete as per Drawings and Specifications and including Cost of binding wire, Labour etc., all complete in all respects as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The Chairs and Spacer Bars provided will not be measured for payment.
1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such as steel Reinforcement, binding wire and other minor construction materials, testing etc. all bye works and sundry works.
2. Chairs, Laps, Spacers, Wastage etc. shall be to contractor's account.

CONCRETE PAVEMENT
Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pavement 150 mm thick in M-25 grade with 20 mm and down grade crushed stone aggregate in pavement, including earthwork in excavation, preparation of base (i.e. compacted subgrade, 200 thk sand and 100 thk PCC M-10 grade), leaving pockets if necessary, making recess, projections, fixing inserts conduit pipes (GI, PVC, HDPE, etc.) laying in alternate panels, filling the gaps between the panels with bitumen sand mix filler material etc., making slopes, finishing edges, leaving bars for pedestals & sleepers including providing sand fill isolation , shuttering, providing and fixing reinforcing steel, curing, chipping and modification works etc. as specified in any shape, thickness, position and finishing the top surface smooth as per requirement etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
150mm thick in Pavements in Approach Roads (Type - II)
1.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials, providing and fixing reinforcement steel, shuttering, earthwork in excavation and backfilling using serviceable earth in all conditions, preparation of base, etc. with all bye works and sundry works. Cost of works towards pipe supports & sleepers being raised from pavement is covered under respective RCC items.
2. To be read in conjunction with Particular Job Specification and tender drawing.
PAVER BLOCK FLOORING
Supplying and placing in position as per approved pattern of Cement Concrete Inter locking/grass jointed paver block 60 mm thick of approved shape, rough finish, M-30 strength of approved brand laid over the sand bed of minimum 100 mm thick. The CC interlocking blocks to be of uniform Grey colour or as approved by EIC complete in all respects as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such paver blocks, sand, earth work in excavation in cutting earth in all conditions, shuttering with all bye works and sundry works.

KERB STONE FIXING
Providing and fixing precast concrete Kerb stones (125 wide X 300 deep) of M-30 grade or equivalent of approved make and shape at or near ground level as per approved pattern and setting in position with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) including the cost of required centering, shuttering and finishing smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) wherever required over 75 mm thick PCC M-10 levelling course, complete in all respects as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-In-Charge.
1. Rate to include all labour, tools, tackles, factory manufactured & steam cured Kerb Stones, shuttering, transportation, water charges, earth work if any, PCC etc complete.
2. To be read with in conjunction with Particular Job Specification.
BUILDING WORKS
Construction & handing over of service buildings for Receiving Terminal, Despatch Terminal, I.P.Stations and SV Stations complete in all respect as per drawng (to be supplied by Owner) and as per technical specification and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such as minimum 43 grade OPC cement, RCC M25, C 5.0 Solid Concrete Blocks, R/F steel, inserts, bolts, conduits, finishes, other minor construction materials, shuttering, staging, earthwork in excavation and backfilling using serviceable earth in all conditions, shoring/strutting, bailing and pumping out water if required, masonry work, plastering, painting, false ceiling, flooring/ false flooring, cable trench, water proof treatment on roof, anti termite treatement below foundation and floors, plumbing, sanitation,water supply system, etc. with all bye works and sundry works complete in all respects.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE : The payment schedule for this item shall be as follows:
1. 40% on casting of roof and completion of solid concrete block work upto roof level.
2. 15% on completion of all plumbing, sanitation, water proof treatment on roof, sewerage works inside and outside of the building.
3. 35% on completion of all electrical, false ceiling, flooring & finishing works inside and outside of the building.
4. 10% on handing over of the completed building to the owner.

COMPOUND WALL
Providing, constructing and finishing of compound wall in RCC frame structure with precast RCC wall panels of 100mm thickness mounted on in-situ RCC columns of 400mmx450mm size at an interval of 3.0 m or as specified in construction drawing and height 3m, with 600 high Y angle frames with Concertina coils and RBT tape as specified as per scope of work , including plastering, coping, painting, whitewash,concertina coil, embossing of GAIL logo on all columns, finishes all complete as per technical specifications, tender drwaing and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.
1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such as minimum 43 grade OPC cement, pre cast wall panels ,ISMC channel section,hard drawn steel wire fabric as per IS 1566 ,RCC M25, concertina coil, finishes, bitumen, Y angle, other minor construction materials, shuttering, staging, coping, expansion gap filling with "Capcell" armoured board of "Supreme" make or equivalent and white sealant material, plastering,painting and all other sundry works.
2. Foundation/ sub-structure to be paid separately in item for concrete blocks, R/F and RCC substructure vide respective item.

SOAK PIT, SEPTIC TANK & SEWERAGE SYSTEM
Providing and construction of septic tank and soak pit in brick masonry and base and top slab in RCC M25 including sewerage works inside and outside of the building complete in all respect as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings,technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such as minimum 43 grade OPC cement including chemical resistant paint for sub-structures,providing and fixing reinforcement steel, bricks, inserts, bolts, covers, aggregates/ sand fill conduits, finishes, bitumen, other minor construction materials, shuttering, staging, earthwork in excavation and backfilling using serviceable/ borrow earth in all conditions, shoring/strutting, bailing and pumping out water, masonry work, plastering, plumbing, sanitation, etc. with all bye works and sundry works.
2. To be read with in conjunction with Particular Job Specification.
EXPANSION JOINT
Providing & laying expansion joint 25 mm thick with approved bitumen impregnated fibre board in between & sealing the top 25 mm depth with bituminous sealant at all heights & location with all byeworks complete as per drawing, standard practice and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing & laying 25 mm dowel bars with metal cap @200 mm c/c across the full road width at expansion joint location as per drawing, standard practice and as directed by the Engineer-in charge.
SAND FILLING
Supplying and filling Sand in maxm. 300 mm thick layers and compacting by flooding, watering, rolling, ramming, consolidating and dressing the surface including cost of sand (Zone-II/Zone-III sand only) complete in all respect as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings as per technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
1.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, cost of sand, right of way, cess, and backfilling using sand in all conditions, etc.
RAIN WATER HARVESTING PIT
Providing,constructing and finishing of rain water harvesting pit including boring up to ground water table, provision of filter media and construction of pit complete as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.

NON-PRESSURE PIPE
Supplying and laying RCC non pressure pipes of NP3 class and diameter including collers, jointed with stiff mixture of CM 1:2 proportion, curing, aligning, joining and testing etc. to correct slope including excavation,backfilling at all depths as per drawings with all bye works complete as per specification and directions of Engineer.

STONE AGGREGATE
Supplying, stacking and spreading of stone aggregate of size 53 mm to 22.4 mm at desired locations inside the plot over well compacted earth complete as per construction drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
BORE WELL
Supply,laying,drilling and commissioning of G.I.Bore well of 150 mm diameter and up to 100 m depth including submersible pump with all accessories, panel, wiring and all other works required to make it operational all complete in all respects as per scope of work and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
Extra over and above for more than 100 M depth.
1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials including pipes, water meter, valves, boring, priming, cabling, pumps, clearing, earth work, etc. with all bye works and sundry works and consumables.
HAND PUMP
Supply, providing, placing in position Deep Well hand pump of approved quality & make ( as per IS 9301 and installation as per IS 11004 Part-1 ) for 40 mm dia GI pipe (medium class) complete with all accessories, fittings including providing and placing in position filter of 40 mm dia GI pipe (medium class) with brass strainer of approved quality. Boring shall be 100 mm dia including casing pipe up to required depth for Hand pump in all soils and tested up to a depth of 50.0 m complete in all respects as per scope of work and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.

ROAD WORKS
Providing 100mm thick Water Bound Macadam using 90 mm to 45 mm size hard granite metal/Crushed Stone and approved quality binding material (Plasticity index shall be between 4 to 6), laid to proper camber and gradient with templates to correct profile, including filling undulations/pot holes in the scarified existing road surface, dry and wet rolling by 8 to 10 T power roller, all complete as per specifications, drawings and instructions of Engineer.(Joint measusurements/levels to be made for the undulations/pot holes in the scarified surface before and after the work started and the volume shall be calculated considering area multiplied by average compacted thickness)
Providing 75mm thick Water Bound Macadam using 63 mm to 45 mm quality metal, laid to proper camber and gradient with templates, filling voids with approved quality moorum (Plasticity index shall be between 4 to 9), dry and wet rolling by 8 to 10 T roller, including surface preperation etc.for new roads all complete as per specifications drawings and instructions of Engineer in-Charge.
Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG - 10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with/without mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications.
On W.B.M. @ 0.75 Kg / sqm
On Bituminous Surface @ 0.50 Kg / sqm
Providing and laying 50 mm thick premix carpet (hot process) using paving bitumen grade VG-10 and mechanical paver machine and rolling by 8 to 10 T roller including scarification of WBM surface and finishing with 12 mm thick seal coat as per drawing,specification and instruction of Engineer Incharge.

POWER DISTRIBUTION BOARD
Supply, installation, testing, commissioning of Power Distribution Board (PDB) :
415 V, 30 KA single front type indoor PDB for SV Stations consisting of bus bar chamber, cable alley, 160 Amp incomer TPN MCCB (with LSIG & Shunt trip) & 4 nos. 100 Amp TPN MCCB, 5 Nos 63 Amp TPN MCCB, 5 nos. 32 Amp TPN MCB, 3 Nos 20 Amp TPN MCB and 3 Nos. 16Amp TPN MCB outgoing complete with wiring, indication lamp, ammeter, voltmeter, MFM (Multi Function Meter) etc including all labour and materials with operating mechanism, all accessories, mandatory spares as per data sheet, auxiliaries etc complete in all respects as specified in technical specification, data sheet & SLD no. MEC/23RQ/05/E9/E/1081A. All MCCBs shall have LSIG protection.
Spares for LT Panel based on SLD no. MEC/23RQ/05/E9/E/1081A-D for 2 years operation & maintenance as per the annexure in specification. (Note: 1 Set consists of 2 years O&M spares of each type of PDB & LDB given in the above mentioned SLDs.)
LIGHTING DISTRIBUTION BOARDS
Supply, Installation, testing, and commissioning of 415V/240V lighting/power panels, Surface/Recess mounting type in weather/flame proof (with hinged cover) sheet steel enclosure of approved make having 4 Pole MCCB(LSIG)/RCCB (MCB + ELCB) as incoming and SP/DP/TP MCB (9KA type) for out going circuit complete with wiring,indication lamp, ammeter etc including all labour and materials as specified in technical specification, data sheet & SLD no. Telecommunication Work related to composite works has to be carried out by the Bidder as defined in Scope of Work of Job specification, other specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge including but not limited to followings works. For all supply, the scope covers design, manufacturing, factory testing, inspection, packaging, forwarding, transportation, insurance, handling and storage at site etc. .
Supply of 40 mm, permanently lubricated HDPE Telecom DUCT (1000 meter drum), Factory Acceptance Testing as per specification including Supply of spare HDPE accessories Plastic Couplers (PC), End Plugs (EP), Cable Sealing Plugs (CSP), End Caps (EC) etc
Installation of 40mm OD, permanently lubricated HDPE ducts in all type of soil & terrain including all required works such as excavation of trench, padding, backfilling, cleaning and sealing of ducts, jointing of HDPE conduit, erection accessories as required, Testing of laid permanently lubricated HDPE ducts, rectification if required, cleaning and sealing of ducts at the end after testing, preparation of report, joint location marking, final acceptance / Handing over of the same to GAIL, Drawings and documentation all complete as per specifications provided in the bid document. (Scope also includes Supply and installation of all HDPE accessories required including Plastic Couplers (PC), End Plugs (EP), Cable Sealing Plugs (CSP), End Caps (EC) etc suitable & sufficient for supplied Duct, complete in all respect as per specification and as per direction of EIC). Laying of Optical Fibre Cable in the 40 mm HDPE Duct including supply of all required cable glands, necessary accessories as required, all work complete as per the scope of Work, Specifications, other documents provided in the tender. Supply and installation of GI pipes / Hume pipes (in road crossings, buildings, etc.) and PVC pipes (for crossing of electrical cables) as per the site requirement is included in the scope of cable laying.
All activities for trenching including excavation of trench, padding, backfilling, supply and installation of bricks, sand etc, complete in all respect as per the scope of work, specifications and other documents provided in the tender.

Installation of FTC for OFC termination (in and out)(approved Make ) with zero dB connectors, installation of wiremesh (structural size 1.5 Mtr x 1 mtr and mesh size 15 cm x 15 cm) and other accessories for termination of OFC in FTC ,inclduing supply and erection of all installation materials, complete in all respect as per the scope of work, specifications and other documents provided in the tender.
Termination & Testing Splicing with street fibre, test of the fibre for the smooth operation system on wavelengths, OTDR Test of the complete laid OFC, end to end Power Testing of complete laid OFC, Identification of the fault, Rectification, preparation of reports, reconciliation of OFC etc., CD of all fibre OTDR traces, work complete in all respect with all necessary accessories as per the tender and as per the direction of Engineers in charge.

Note - 1. Design shall be done based on largest room size with provision to discharge gas in affected room through directional valves including Room void, Ceiling Void & Floor void/ Cable trenches. While designing for highest room size, NOAEL in smallest room shall not be more the criteria as per NFPA 2001. Bidder shall consider three different rooms for clean agent system and details of individual room sizes shall be furnished to successful bidder during detailed engineering stage. Bidder shall consider suitable damper to sustain discharge pressure insisde porta cabin/Individual room. 2. The cylinder bank shall be be kept in shade near porta cabin and bidder shall include cost of construction of shade with PCC flooring and zinzalumin shade with rain protection in above lumpsum cost.

DESIGN, ENGINEERING, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING & COMMISSIONING OF LINEAR HEAT SENSING CABLE Design, supply, installation & commissioning of Linear Heat sensors for cable trenches & below false flooring comprising of linear type heat sensor cable, integration with smoke detectors & fire alarm cum gas release panel all complete as per approved scheme & enclosed drawing. LHS shall be used for detecting heat from a fire over its entire length. The sensor cable shall consist of a twisted pair of copper coated steel conductors covered by a temperature sensitive insulation. The LHS shall be UL/FM/LPCB/VDS approved and shall be designed for open area as well as proximity detection. LHS shall be compatible with any fire control panel that is capable of accepting contact closure type initiating devices. Linear Heat Detection System shall be used for effective activation of a warning or alarm signal indicating a condition of excessive heat or fire. In this system, each discrete addressable LHS cable zone shall report an individual alarm to the addressable fire control panel.The detector unit shall send fault signal when the LHS is damaged (Cut or damaged). bidder has to submit the data sheet of LHS for approval of MECON during detailed engineering.
