Coils:- The core shall be built up with high grade, non-aging, low loss, high permeability, grain oriented, cold-rolled silicon steel laminations especially suitable for core material. Grade of core should be M4 or better. The coils shall be manufactured from electrolytic copper conductor & fully insulated for rated voltage. Coils shall be so insulated that impulse & power frequency voltage stresses are minimum. Coil assembly shall be suitably supported between adjacent sections by insulating spacers & barriers.Suitable arrangement should be made for connection at LV&HV side through flexible copper jumper connector terminal, porcelain insulator as per latest recomended IS standard. The core and coil assembly shall be securely fixed in position so that no shifting or deformation occurs during movement of transformer or under short circuit stresses Type Of Cooling :- Oil Natural Air Natural Temperature Scanner:- Transformer will be provided with RTDS for sensing winding temperatures & oil temperature. Dial type temparature measuring devices for display of oil & winding temparature.
Tests: Routine Tests- Fittings & Accessories: a) Suitable cable Entry Boxes along with terminals for both Primary & Secondary. b) Two Nos. Earthing Terminals. c) Diagram & Rating Plate.
Testing: will be performed As per latest IS Specification. 1. Routine test as per IS-1180 Terms & Condition:- 1. The rate should be quoted including delivery ,other charges and taxes. 2. Price variation clause will not be entertained. 3. Materials should be delivered to the site / section office in consultation with the concern Executive Engineer. 4.Routine Test to be performed in presence of EIC and submitted at the time of delivery. 5. Bidder will arrange the technical personnel of manufacturer to be present at site during commissioning. No extra cost can be claimed for this purpose. 6. Guarantee period of the Transformer 12(Twelve) months from the date of commissioning or 18(eighteen) months from the date of supply which ever is earlier.
Supply, Installation, testing & Commissoning of KV 800 A, short-circuit capacity of 26.3 KA for l sec, 3-panel HT Gear with VCBs as per specification [Make - SIEMENS/ ABB / Crompton Greaves or Its System Houses Only] below : BIL-28KV/ 75KV
The Vacuum Circuit Breaker should comply as per IS: 13118 & IEC:6227 1100 for Circuit Breaker & IS:3427 & IEC:6227 1-200/IEC 694, IEC—6 1850 for Indoor panel.
PANEL The HT panel is rated at KV, 3-Phase 800A, Breaking Current/ahort-circuit capacity of 26.3kA for 1 sec, 50c/ s and shall be of floor-mounting, sheet steel clad, free-standing metal enclosed air insulated switchgear cubicle with VCB inside. The Vacuum Circuit Breaker is horizantal isolation & fiorizantal drawout/Vertical isolation & horizontal drawout with 3 Compertments and is made of 2mm CRCA sheet for load bearing members vv'1th vermin & moisture proof along with automatic shutter arrangement fOt complete isolation of bars, cable sockets & other live parts etc. when the removable portion is withdrawn. The breaker is arranged for hand operation through front of the panel push buttons & spring charging mechanism and also electrical motor which will be energizied by 230V AC. Closing and tripping coils are rated for l10V DC to be made available from the station 400V 3 phase 50 C/ s A.C. source with remote operation compatibility. All trip coils shall be of shunt trip type energized from a suitable rectifier condenser source.supply is required. There is a remote operation through multicore arrangement for closing & tripping. The shutter shall be gravity operated.
FRONT DOOR The front door of the breaker should not be set as front. High-Voltage door during switching operations, the high-voltage door should remain closed and mechanical interlock should prevent opening of door when the switching device is in service and is switched ON. The position of the withdraw-able section, the CLOSED /OPEN switch position of the switching device, the operating cycle counter and the ‘spring charged“ indication should be visible through pressure-resistant inspection windows in the high-voltage door. The panel front door can be closed with the breaker in isolated position. The degree of protection in the panel is IP-43 as per Indian Standard IS 3427.
BUSBAR The spacious bus bar compartment is provided on the top of the cubicle. The main bus bar can carry current upto 1000A and are made of electrolytic grade copper & shall be vertically placed one after another. The bus bars should be air insulated but must be HT PVC sleeved & color coded for R-Y-B. No live parts should be accessible. All joints should be covered with monoplast compound and color coded for easy idenurication. The feeder connection to the busbars are preffered to be encapsulated.
BREAKER Vacuum circuit breaker is mounted on a truck and is of horizontal isolation and horizontal drawout/Vertical isolation & horizontal drawout type having a robust motorized mechanism. The spring charge cycle duty of mechanism is O-C-0. The vacuum circuit breaker is single break design and have one vacuum interrupter per phase. The vacuum interrupter should not be of pinch tube type design, it should be sealed by brazing in s vacuum oven & all the vacuum interrupters must be segregated in a cast resin housing.
EARTHING A continous GI earth bus runs across the entire length of the switchboard. All doors partitions, covers and non current carrying metallic parts are earthed to achieve earth potential for the entire enclosure. Terminals are provided at each end of the earth bus to connect the grid earthing. If integral earthing facility is not available separate earthing truck shall be provided for earthing.
INTERLOCK The circuit breaker can be operated only in service/test position and not In any intermediate position, fully isolated condition. The circuit breaker cannot be Inserted into service position in closed condition and cannot be removed from service unless it is in open condition. The circuit breaker cannot be moved from test position to service position unless auxiliary plug is disengaged and vise virsa in service position auxiliary plug should be in engaged condition. If earth switch is provided it shall be mechanically interlocked with the breaker so that both the devices can not be 'ON' simultaneously.
TESTING The fully assembled switch board shall be offered for routine testing as per provision of IS 3427. The manufacturer should submit closing & tripping time curve after testing on a breaker analyzer. For major boughtout components like CT, PT, meters & relays the routine test certificates of the respective manufacturers need to be submitted.

Supply and Installation of Feeder Pillar box of suitable sizes and appx 600 mm.depth The of the pillar box is to be made from 12 SWG (total outer side , top , bottom gland plate etc, ) & 14 SWG ( inner side only ) CRCA Sheet , suitable sizes MS angle (four side of base, legs etc. to be fixed by nuts, bolts, necy welding etc.) The pillar box should have double door opening from front fitted with suitable handle on each door leafs (two handle on each side ) & also have ventilation arrangement with louvers & brass wire mess net at the top of door leafs having two sides fully protected with close wire mesh of Brass net. Terms and condition
The Agency must procure the materials from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorised sales channel so that the standard warranty / support of the Manufacturer / OEM becomes applicable to the products to be delivered and installed by them.
Documents that authenticates such procurement from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorized sales channel and standard warranty / support should be sent from the e-mail of the Manufacturer / OEM / authorized sales channel to the e-mail of Engineer-in-Charge and hard copy of it to be submitted during execution, of work/submission of bill.
If any refurbished material is supplied and installed, penal action will be taken as per existing rules
