PROVISION OF BOREWILLS INCLUDING NECESSARY SERVICES AT HVF

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out in soft / loose soil for laying of cables, pipes, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Drilling, trial bore well vertically by using high speed reverse rotory fast rig machinery or any other approved method, suitable size / dia for inserting of 225mm dia casing pipe through any type of soil / rock strara such as hard soil, loose soil, sandy clay, red clay, moorum, weathered rock, hard rock, lightly fractured rock, pebbeled rock, or any other geological formation at given location by Ground Water survey experts all as specified in IS-2800 and as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(a) For depth upto not exceeding 200 mtrs below ground level (12 Nos. Borewell) as per PS Clause No.5.15.1 on Sl Page No.127.

(b) For depth 200 mtrs upto not exceeding 300 mtrs below ground level (7 Nos. Borewell) as per PS Clause No.5.15.1 on Sl Page No.127.

Drilling / reaming bore well bore well vertically by using high speed reverse rotory fast rig machinery or any other approved method, suitable size / dia for inserting of 225mm dia casing pipe through any type of soil / rock strata such as hard soil, loose soil, sandy clay, red clay, moorum, weathered rock, hard rock, lightly fractured rock, pebbeled rock, or any other geological formation at given location by ground water survey experts all as specified in IS-2800 and as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) For depth exceeding 200 Mtrs upto not exceeding 250 Mtrs below ground level (7 Nos. Borewell)

(c) For depth exceeding 251 Mtrs upto not exceeding 300 Mtrs below ground level (7 Nos. Borewell)

(d) For depth exceeding 301 Mtrs upto not exceeding 350 Mtrs below ground level (7 Nos. Borewell)

(e) For depth exceeding 351 Mtrs upto not exceeding 400 Mtrs below ground level (7 Nos. Borewell)

Notes for Item Nos. 4 & 5 (i) The unit rate quoted is deemed to be include for collection of soil samples and strata. (ii) GE (I) to ensure that the work carried out as per the recommendation of CGWB in respect of location and depth before commencement of the work. (iii) PVC pipe, PVC reducing socket, MS cap and PCC shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Removal off mud/slurry from the site shall be deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate. (v) No. of borewell to be dug are 12 Nos. (vi) The rate quoted is deemed to be include for hire charges of rig, T&P, machinery, fuel charges, labour, consumables, transportation, drilling and operation including use and waste of all necessary appliances and materials in all respects to entire satisfaction of complete work all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (vii) Bore Hole Chart indicating the casing pipe, slotted pipe, reducer, bail plug, etc. should be submitted by the contractor in A3 paper - 03 copy of each bore. (viii) Sample strata box for each bore with compartments, made of wood of size 0.6m x 0.30m x 0.20m should be provide by the contractor.

M&L for development of tube well with compressed air and after with 25% extra capacity pump by pumping muddy water till clear water is recetved complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer - in - Charge. Notes:- 1. Total No. of bore wells required to be dug are 12. 2. Casing pipe, MS cap and Pcc shall be measured and paid seperately. 3. Development period shalll be minimum of 24 hrs per Bore well.

Electro logging test of water bearing zone identification including all tools and equipment, complete all as specified and directed.

Vertically test to chechk the verticallyof bore well as per IS-2800 (latest edition), complete including necessary testing equipments all as specified and directed.

M&L for carraying out yield test (V-notch type) of bore well continously for 08 hours and submitting the test report in the presence of department representative complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: T& P required for yield testing shalll be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

M&L for Collecting water samples on clean stearlised bottle from borewell and getting tested for (chemical and bacteriological) analysis from approved institution /lab and submission of results in triplicate complete all as specified and submission of result in triplicate all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Rate quoted shall be inclusive of stearlised bottle, collecting samples from each locations, transporting and submitting test result and no extra cost will be paid.

Supplying, lowering & fixing PVC pipe 225 mm dia Heavy duly ISI marked in length of 3.00 to 6.00 metre completely, 6kgs / Cm2 pressure including joining of casing pipes firmly in positon conforming to ISI specification complete including all T & P and equipment all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, lowering & fixing PVC pipe 180 mm dia Heavy duly ISI marked in length of 3.00 to 6.00 metre completely, 6kgs / Cm2 pressure including joining of casing pipes firmly in positon conforming to ISI specification complete including all T & P and equipment all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, lowering & fixing PVC pipe 180 mm dia ribbed screen slotted type Heavy duly ISI marked in length of 3.00 to 6.00 metre completely, 6kgs / Cm2 pressure including joining of casing pipes firmly in positon conforming to ISI specification complete including all T & P and equipment all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, fabricate and fix well cap top cover suitable for 225mm casing pipe, made out of 3mm thick MS sheet suitable for casing pipe of bore well in two half section duly hinged and locking & fixing arrangemet, nut & bolts with an accessiblity of pump delivery pipe, including one coat of epoxy primer and two coats of epoxy paint complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, fabricate and fix lifting / housing clamp for housing pipe set of two with MS clamps size 100 mm x 20 mm thick length in 90 cm long with nut and bolts suitable for holding GI pipe including painting with one coat of red oxide and two coats of enamel paint complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and lowering into the borewell, column pipe 50 mm dia, galvanished steel water tubing heavy duty with screwed and threaded with heavy duly coupling and fittings and conneting, IsI marked, heavy duty including nuts, bolts with washers and gasket for connecting from submersible pump top / ground level of bore well (Each pipe shall not be more than 3 mtr in length) all as specified and directed by the Engineer - in Charge. Note : The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to including the GI pipe at every 3 mtr length flanged type and lowering in the bore with all necessary coupling fittings threading etc.

Supply and lowering into the borewell, column pipe 65 mm dia, galvanished steel water tubing heavy duty with screwed and threaded with heavy duly coupling and fittings and conneting, IsI marked, heavy duty including nuts, bolts with washers and gasket for connecting from submersible pump top / ground level of bore well (Each pipe shall not be more than 3 mtr in length) all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to including the GI pipe at every 3 mtr length flanged type and lowering in the bore with all necessary coupling fittings threading etc.

Supply , lowering, testing and commissioning of High head Submersible pump set, vertical type, multi stage with steelbody , shaft and impellers (as per OEM if any one part is not stainless steel may be acceptable) of duly coupled to submersible electric driven motor, energy efficient 3 phase, 415 volt 5 HP 150mm, minimum 12 stage (or nearer stage as per OEM heigher suitable for head to be delivered) including provision of NRV both ends screwed of size 50 mm dia and fixed to GI pipe 65 mm dia including connecting with 3 core copper conductor cable (water proof) of size 6 Sq mm 1100V grade complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer - in - Charge. NOTES for item No.18, 19 & 20 : (i) Column pipe and submersible cable will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Two Nos PP danline ropes made out of poly porpaline fisher man quality 3 or 4 strand not less than 10mm dia ropes ahall be supplied and fixed along with each pumpset (for support of pipe for avoiding falling ) as directed by Engineer - in - Change, the cost of this provision is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. (iii) No extra cost will be made for providing of number of stages in pump.

Supply and laying submersible copper conducor cable 1100 volt grade, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed with multi stranded copper conductor of size 6.0 sq mm, 3 core cutting to required lenth, connecting with necessary ferruls / water proof joint complete all as specified and diercted.

Supply and laying submersible copper conducor cable 1100 volt grade, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed with multi stranded copper conductor of size 10 Sqmm, 3 core cutting to required lenth, connecting with necessary ferruls / water proof joint complete all as specified and diercted.

Supply and filling gravel pack provided in fine aquifers of size may be less than 0.25 mm and 10 mm to 20 mm thickness in the annular space between bore hole and pipe strainers complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Change.

M & L for Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for sanitary sailing up to 5 metre below graund level all as directed.

M & L for Cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping and the like including necessary form work and weathering,slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for Galvanised Steel water tubing 50 mm dia, medium grade, ISI marked laid in trenches/floors, fixed to wall, ceiling, including all GI fittings such as flanges, unions, caps etc. Compete all as specified and directed.

M & L Cutting existing steel tubing for alternation, taking out connection of 50 mm to 80 mm dia GL pipe line including necessary tees and fitting and including supply and fixing with both side flanges on both side of pipes for suitable for fixing of Sluice valve upto 80 mm complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Galvanised Steel water tubing 80mm dia, medium grade ISI marked laid in trenches/floors, fixed to wall, ceiling, including all GI fittings such as flanges, unions, caps etc., complete all as specided and directed. Makes : Jindal / Zenth / Tata / Surya Prakash.
