REPAIR, MAINT OF DISTRIBUTION BOARDS, SERVICE CONNECTIONS AND EARTHINGS AT LGJ MIL STN UNDER GE LALGARH JATTAN

Opening / Disconnecting the electrical connection of defective / burnt out underground LT UG cable of any size & any core from main switch / DB / junction box / LT panel / L T O/H line etc. Taking out the requied length of cable to be required from existing loop, cutting the defective portion of cable, providing required thimbles / connectors at cable end and reconnecting the cable in previous location with existing main switch / DB / Junction box / LT panel / OH line etc. all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) The cost of excavation & earth work,returning filling, in relaying and cost of drawing to be required length from protection pipe, breaking of brick work / concrete / plaster to be required and redoing to be required for work to match the existing surface shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra should be paid on this account.(ii) Additional cable/ protection pipe required at site shall be measured and paid seperatly. Note:- 1.During currency period of contract, contractor shall depute the sufficient manpower for attending daily complaints. 2. Minor consumable material required to complete the Job as (like tape, thimbles, Nuts bolts, electrical gloves, M seal etc ) are included in the quoted rates. 3. mobile no of supervisor to be distributed. 4. Complaint will be done within 24 hrs of receiving complaints while in mobile tele communications or any written/verbal/any cummunication medium. 5 Any delay by the contractor to resolve the complaint above the said period, a penalty of Rs 100/day will be fined.

M & L for Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for laying of cable , pipe etc not exceeding 10 sqm area on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

Excavating in trencehes, n exc 1.5 m wide and exc m in depth but not exe 3 m in depth for foundation, etc or for laying of cables/poles, etc n exc 10 Sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified.

Removing of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

Material and labour for making the hole under road and hard standing for laying and including inserting Galvanised steel light grade pipe upto 100 mm dia including all fittings as required at site by mechanical drill system or Auger system and making the surface good as per existing surface completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note : The rate of Galvanised steel light grade pipe upto 100 mm dia is paid seprately under appropriate item of schedule of works

GI pipe of 40 mm bore light grade.

GI pipe of 80 mm bore light grade.

Material and Labour for in replacement Danger notice plate 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20cm x 15cm size complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
