Providing and laying design mix cement
concrete of M-30 grade, in roads/taxi tracks/
runways, using cement content as per
design mix, using coarse sand and graded
stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size in
appropriate proportions as per approved
and specified design criteria, providing
dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars wherever
required, laying at site, spreading and
compacting mechanically by using needle
and surface vibrators, levelling to required
slope/ camber, finishing with required
texture, including steel form work with
sturdy M.S. channel sections, curing,
making provision for contraction/ expansion,
construction and longitudinal joints (10 mm
wide x 50 mm deep) by groove cutting
machine, providing and filling joints with
approved joint filler and sealants, complete
all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge
(Item of joint fillers, sealants, dowel bars
with sleeve/ tie bars to be paid separately).

16.49S MISCELLANEOUS
Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro
reflective sign boards made up of 2 mm
thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully
covered with high intensity encapsulated
type heat activated retro reflective sheeting
conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01
in blue and silver white or other colour
combination including subject matter,
message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders
etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on
substrate by an adhesive backing which
shall be activated by applying heat and
pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-
4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable
sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to
back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size
25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant
measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos.
M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a
vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section
ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate
of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end
and including making holes in pipes, angles
flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate
of required size, steel work to be painted
with two or more coats of synthetic enamel
paint of required shade and of approved
brand & manufacture over priming coat of
zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-
Tee support to be painted in black and
white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet
to be painted with two or more coats of
epoxy paint over and including appropriate
priming coat including all leads and lifts etc.

direction of Engineer-in-charge.

thermoplastic paint applicator machine
fitted with profile shoe, glass beads
dispenser, propane tank heater and profile
shoe heater, driven by experienced
operator on road surface including cost of
material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road
surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and
foreign material etc. complete as per
direction of Engineer-in-charge and
accordance with applicable specifications.
16.75 Providing and laying C.C. pavement of mix cum 112 9823.8 1100265.6
M-25 with ready mixed concrete from
batching plant. The ready mixed concrete
shall be laid and finished with screed board
vibrator , vacuum dewatering process and
finally finished by floating, brooming with
wire brush etc. complete as per
specifications and directions of Engineer-in-
charge. (The panel shuttering work shall be
paid for separately).
16.80 Construction of dry lean cement concrete cum 60 4148.65 248919
sub base over a prepared sub-grade with
coarse and fine aggregate conforming to
IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not
exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio
not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation
after blending to be as per specifications,
cement content not to be less than 150
12 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be
determined during trial length construction,
concrete strength not to be less than 10
Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant,
transported to site, for all leads & lifts, laid
with a mechanical paver, compacting with
8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and
curing etc. complete as per direction of
Engineer-in- charge.

Covers on drains of footpath of various
sizes, of M-25 grade cement concrete for

finished surface, properly encased on all
edges with 1.6 mm thick , 100 mm wide MS

all leads and lift, handling at site etc. all
