Notes for item Nos. 2 to 9 : Contractor shall dismantle the existing lifts carefully and shall deposit the same to MES store yard without damage to any parts. Rate for transportation of items to MES store yard and T&P required for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM (1:4) mixed with liquid water proofing compound on fair faces of brick wall or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair on external faces of walls (5th to 8th floor) complete all as speciifed. Note :- Liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Schedule.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM (1:4) mixed with liquid water proofing compound on fair faces of brick wall or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair on external faces of walls (9th to 12th floor) complete all as speciifed. Note :- Liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Schedule.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM (1:4) mixed with liquid water proofing compound on fair faces of brick wall or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair on external faces of walls (13th to 16th floor) complete all as speciifed. Note :- Liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Schedule.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound from approved manufacturer.

M & L for preparing old surfaces of walls/ ceilings by scrapping / rubbing and applying one coat of Elastomeric and resilient acrylic polymers and reinforcing synthetic fibers water proofing coating over a coat of alkali resistent primer (through authorized applicator only) including use of scaffoldings from Ground floor to top floor in multistorey bldg of lift shaft wall, machine room etc complete all as specified and directed. Make: Asian Paints / Berger Paints / Dr fixit as approved by GE.

M & L for preparing new surfaces of walls/ ceilings by scrapping / rubbing and applying two coats of Elastomeric and resilient acrylic polymers and reinforcing synthetic fibers water proofing coating over a coat of alkali resistent primer (through authorized applicator only) including use of scaffoldings from Ground floor upto 04 storey in multistorey bldg of lift shaft wall, machine room etc complete all as specified and directed. Make: Asian Paints / Berger Paints / Dr fixit as approved by GE.

M&L for cutting holes in brick walls built in cement mortar exc half brick but not exc one brick for inserting holdfasts and making good in cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 as required complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT (CRS) bars any dia in stirrups, spaces and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and incl mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT (CRS) bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips and including welding has to be done with minimum 20 cm over lap for new and old of any height complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for formwork to faces of smooth finished walls, retaining walls, abutment, parapets and staircase railings and similar works incl attached pilasters, buttressess etc; vertical or to batter incl bolting, strutting, propping etc so as to withstand a pressure of 0.1 MPa incl removal of form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and placing in position micro-concrete, grade M30, cement based pre-packed single component, chloride free, non-shrink, free flow, self compacting, ready to use after mixing water in specified proportion, obtained from Fosroc / SIKA / BASF/ Dr Fixit, thickness of section upto 100 mm complete including formworks as required all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding/ tapping with a blunt metal instrument to the satisfaction of GE.

Applying three coat URP waterproofing chemicals for water proofing coating mix URP-Cement in the ratio 1:1.5 by volume on new plastered surface as per manufaturer instruction for sunken portion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. The system includes final base preparation, epoxy primer application and applying SmartCare Ultron or approved equivalent in two coats at 1.5 kg per Sqm etc complete as per Manufacturer's specifications over and including padding of ready mixed micro cement concrete Type B1, 1:2:4, 35 mm average thick concrete on RCC roof surfaces and all other similar works complete all as specified and directed. If its fucntions found defective, the same should be repaired or replaced by the contractor through OEM as per the timeline covered under contract conditions. (d) Two mechanics shall be deployed by contractor round the clock at lift complaint cell (for all lifts as catered in item Nos. 50 to 62) for safe & smooth functioning of all the lifts. Quoted rate shall be inclusive of this component. (e) Rewinding of motor, if required, will be done by the contractor and no extra cost will be given by the department on this account. (f) The lift mechanics deployed by contractor shall report to the Concerned JE at the Lift complaint cell for receiving the complaints round the clock daily including sunday and holiday.

Notes for item Nos 50.00 to 62.00 (Contd...):- (g) The lift mechanics deployed by contractor shall sign (their shift wise) in the attendence register kept at lift complaint cell. (h) Cost of minor spare parts/ routine material required during comprehensive maintenance of the lifts is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. No additional cost of spares is admissible to the contractor. Decision of the Accepting Officer shall be final & binding regarding minor spares/ routine material. (j) Monthly schedule for proper maintenance of lift and necessary documentation including all spare parts required to be replaced during the period shall be maintained as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (k) Contractor shall submit license from Govt. of Maharashtra for maintenace & erection of lifts issued by Chief Electrical Inspector. (l) Appropriate penalty for not carrying out timely maintenance shall be levied as per contract conditions. Any third party damage due to malfunctioning of lifts shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor and the same shall be made good by contractor without any extra cost to the department. (m) Scope of Comprehensive maintenance shall cover the entire lift i.e. cabin, doors, control panel, drives, pulley, chain, battery, LED lights, COP, LOP, cables, main switchs, Machine room lighting etc.
