Repairs to delivery manifold of 800mm ND rising main by way of earth excavation around the rising main using mechanical excavator and manual excavation so as to uncover the delivery manifold and identifying the leaking spots. The job further includes dewatering of the accumulated water in the pit at the work place using dewatering pump is to be arranged by the firm. The job includes cutting of appropriate size windows at two places in the delivery manifold using oxy-acetylene gas cutter in the 800 mm ND pipe and 400mm pipe respectively for welding of the cracked portion of the delivery manifold from inside. The job includes cleaning of the leaked spots of the rising main from paint, rust and other foreign bodies and then welding of cracked/leaking spots inside as well as outside by arc welding using Adore electrodes. The process has to be donecontinuosly unless leaking spots are made leak proof. The job further includes welding back of already cut windows in two runs by using electric arc welding using Adore electrodes, making it complete leakage proof. The job further includes welding of 8 mm thick MS piece at the leaking spot after cutting it as per the joint profile. All the tools and tackles required for carrying out the work to be arranged by the firm. After carrying out the work, testing of the delivery manifold for any leakage on full load is included in the job.

Shifting of 80mm air release valve installed on 800mm dia delivery manifold.The job inludes cutting the pipe of air release valve using gas cutter. The job further includes making new hole near the dead end of 800mm pipe and welding of already cut pipe at the new location using adore/advani electrodes. The job also includes providing and fitting of circular MS window of the suitable size to blind the old spot of air release valve by means of electric arc welding. All the weld joints are to made leak proof. All the tools and tackles required for carrying out the work to be arranged by the firm. After carrying out the work, testing of the delivery manifold for any leakage on full load is included in the job.
