Providing, laying, installation, testing and commissioning of Mild Steel Pipe of 300mm Nominal dia. with 6.0 mm wall thickness Rising Main at Lift Irrigation Scheme Munad The pipes shall be painted in two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint or one coat of steel primer and synthetic enamel as per requirement. The overall specification of the pipe shall be as under:- Nominal dia. = 300 mm Wall thickness = 6.0 mm Type of welding = ERW Length of each Pipe = (4-7Metres As per IS 3589) Grade of Pipe= FE 410 Quality of Mild steel to be used for manufacture of pipes= As per IS 10748 with latest amendments Pipe to be manufactured as per IS-3589 with latest amendments The Pipes shall be welded together using high quality Electrodes of Adorr/ Essab in 2 Runs after making a groove and the weld shall be of high quality smooth finish and free from defects. The job includes cost on account of loading, unloading and carriage of pipes to the site of installation and all necessary tools tackles such as Power Generator Set, welding machines, Tripod stand, Chain pulley blocks bevelling machines etc and skilled Man power and labour along with consumables required for carrying out the said job. The pipe shall be laid under/above ground as per site requirement and while laying of the pipes, off sets/ bends and flanges if required shall be fabricated out of the pipe and no extra cost shall be allowed for the same. Note: Pipe Manufacturers test certificate to be appended.
