Comprehensive maintenance of DG set including routing/preventive maintenance checks at least once in a month, checking up of engine and alternator for trouble free functioning and attending break downs/complaints as and when required. The type of work / maintenance services to be carried out during comprehensive maintenance are as under :- (a) Checking of Engine Oil level. (b) Checking of oil bath cleaner oil level. (c) Drain sediments from fuel tank. (d) Checking of pre- cleaner dust pan. (e) Checking of air cleaner restriction. (f) Checking of coolant level. (g) Record Oil pressure (h) Checking/tightening of all nuts/bolts of engine and alternator. (i) Checking of AVM pads. (k) Checking of diaphragm coupling (l) Checking of tappet clearance m) Clean fuel tank breather (m) Clean crank case breather (n) Checking of Air piping. (o) Cleaning of oil bath Air cleaner Tray screen. (p) Check / adjust Belts. (q) Checking battery voltage, water level and apply jelly on terminals.(r) Checking fan hub/air blower hub and water pump. (s) Cleaning turbo charger. (t) Tighten manifold Nuts of cops screws. (u) Cleaning of electrical connections with CTC solution. (v) Checking of safety controls (w) Cleaning of cooling system/radiator assembly (x) Cleaning of Engine and radiator assy (y) Checking of Engine Oil Level. The capacity and location of the DG sets that are included in the comprehensive maint are as under :- Note : - (i)The comprehensive maintenance includes carrying out preventive maintenance excluding replacing all the unserviceable / worn out spares to keep the DG set for trouble free functioning. (ii) The rate quoted deemed to be included all the minor spares such as screws, clips washers , distilled water, electrolite etc and other spare parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (iii) Make and Specification of spare parts of DG Sets as per existing make/specification.

POL chlorine gas or bleaching powder shall be arranged by the Engr-in-Charge as per requirement and issued to contractor under schedule B free of cost for bonafide Government use only & a pucca bound register shall be maintained showing day to day input/output only signed by JE/Engineer-in-charge/Contractor.

The unit per day means 24 hours. The contractor shall deployed one FGM per shift of 08 hours at installation viz 3 different FGM per day.

Pumping supply hrs shall be observed as mentioned in particular specification here in after or as directed.

One pumping set shall be work at a time.

Timing shall be decided by GE as per requirements.

It is the responsibility of the contractor that chlorine plant/BP dozer are to be operated at the time of supply of water.

The quoted rate shall be deemed to include for all surrounding premises cleaning such as in side the pump, outside, toilet including cutting of grass shrubs etc and always keep ready position whenever any visiting officer visits the site the pump houses should be cleaned and neat in all respect. In case any bad/adverse remark given by any visiting officer at any time the necessary recovery @ double the rate quoted per day shall be charged from the contractor as certified by Engineer-in-Charge and no claim whatsoever is admissible on the account, GE’s decision is final and binding on this account.

Testing water for residual chlorine and PH value and maintain directed level as directed and proper register to be maintained.

Gland packing, greasing and oiling of centrifugal pump sets shall be done monthly and proper register shall be maintained duly signed by the contractor, Engr-in-Charge & JE.

Trades men should be wear always Operators uniform and take preventive /safety measures and will use protective clothing as per code of IE rules safety code. Department will not responsible for any type of incident.

Contractor shall be made security pass for all operators and maintain proper register duly signed by all concerned.

T&P like spanners, screw drivers, pipe wrench, torch light, other items required for repair etc. will be provided by the contractor.

It is the responsibility of AGE/JE to ensure that attendance register is maintained at all the installation duly signed kept on record and payment of trade men for the Nos of days present will only be made, Engineer-in-Charge will be responsible for payment of trade men in his presence. Contractor shall provide proper dress to tradesmen as approved by Eng-in-Charge and during duty hours all tradesmen shall be in proper uniform otherwise necessary recovery @ double the quoted rate for per day shall be made from his dues.

In case the contractor does not operate the pumping set for a day or part thereof due to any reason whatsoever double of the quoted rate to each day will be recovered.

Leave of deployed person in inescapable cases shall be allowed on prior intimation but Contractor on demand of Engineer-in-Charge, shall arrange alternate arrangment. Payment shall not be allowed for leave period.

In no case wages of deployed persons shall be less than the Minimum wages fixed by Govt Competent Authority. It is mandatory requirement for Contractor that payment of deployed person shall be made through Cheque/RTGS/Acceptable Electronic Mode only. Proof of payment shall be submitted by Contractor to Engineer in Charge monthaly basis or during claiming on account of Advance (RAR)/FB.

The Employees Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions (EPF & MP) Act, 1952. shall be strictly adhered to by the Contractor. Social Security to workers i.e. EPF, ESIC, Personal Insurance(if applicable) on part of Employer shall be paid by Contractor and accordingly, Contractor/Bidder shall include all these factors in his quoted rate.

Statuatory levies/GST if applicable on part of contracts shall be paid by Contractor and accordingly, Contractor/Bidder shall include all these factors in his quoted rate.

Deployed person shall report daily to JE/Engineer in charge or nominated officers by Accepting Officer for their attendence & obtain instructions. An attendence register shall be maintained by Contractor on site shall be certified by MES rep every day.

T&P - Working Tools/plants, protective cloths, communication & conveyance arrangments shall be provided by Contractor at his own cost.

Retrieved materials obtained from replacement by new items shall be deposited in MES store.

An uniform of blue shirt/jersy duly embossed "MES OUTSOURCING SERVICES" at back and name plate of the person on front left shall be provided by contractor to all workers at his own cost.

Water & electric supply shall be provided by MES free of cost for outsourcing services only.

Documentation - Attendance register & wages register,Daily work register as per the format provided by the Deptt. shall be prepared & maintained at his own cost.

Schedule of credit amount of Rs. 1,50,540.00 to be deducted during AOC
