Dismantling floor, hearth or wall/stone tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing broken tiles and rubbish off the premises from site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) of size not exceeding 1.5 Sqm each including cutting holes in brick walls of appropriate size for insertion of cement concrete blocks for hold fasts, and removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) of size exceeding 1.5 Sqm but not exceeding 4 Sqm each including cutting holes in brick walls of appropriate size for insertion of cement concrete blocks for hold fasts, and removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/ blankets, any thickness, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting chases, pinning in. making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc.; and cutting chases for concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring, etc., and making good, cutting not exc 10 cm girth complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, in soft/loose soil, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, cables and pipes etc. not exceeding 10Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out complete aii as specified and as direcetd.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceding 25cm in soft/loose soil complete all as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7mm thick (Area 450 x 300mm / 450x350mm) Glazed Ceramic Coloured Tiles, in vertical surfacesX 7 mm th set and jonnted in cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement in vertical surfaces such as skirtings, dados, risers and steps etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match colour of tiles over and including 10mm thick rendering cement plaster in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paverblocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering cement plaster in cement mortar (1:6) on fair faces of brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering cement plaster in cement mortar (1:6) on fair faces of brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering cement plaster in cement mortar (1:4) on other than fair faces of brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 5mm thick rendering cement plaster in cement mortar (1:3) on ceiling surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement on roof surfaces to have a smooth and uniform surface for laying of water proofing membrane complete all as specified and directed. . Note: WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying bond coat of epoxy bonding agent & cement mortor in 1:1 ratio for bonding old and new concrete on damaged surfaces applying ready mix polymer modified mortar upto 60mm thickness (Chajjas fins, border,slab, beams etc) :- (i) Including application of rust remover on exposed reinforcement and subsequent application of anticorrosive coating. Also, pressure grouting with epoxy injection after application of polymer modified mortar. (ii) Use of electrical mixer to get the homogeneous dough on bond coat surfaces. (iii) To achieve required thickness repeat this step after 24 hrs as required. (iv) Keep the surfaces moist using water forg for 5 to 7 days etc complete all as specified and as directed. (v) Rate shall be inclusive of all necessary scaffolding for building height up to 24 meters complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make of Chemicals : - Epoxy bonding agent, Rust remover, Anti corrosive coating, Polymer modified mortar, Epoxy grout shall be of Berger Krishna/Dr Fixit/MC Bauchemie & M/s Cemistik/Sika or Equivalent as approved by GE. Notes : (i) Complete treatment to be executed by approved applicator (Applicator to be approved by GE). (ii) The Contractor and manufacture of polymer modified mortar shall give the warranty before commencement and also for the strengths achieved in the post completion of work. (iii) The chemicals to be used in the work shall be certified by the manufacturer with whom the MOU been entered into. (iv) Hard drawn steel wire fabric will be measured and paid seperately. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Water proofing treatment to sunken floors of kitchen, toilets, laboratories, bath and WC's etc shall be as under :- (i) Application of Two component Acrylic modified Cementitious coating (aa) The surfaces to be applied shall be completely dry and free from containments such as dirt, dust, oil, surface treatments and old coatings. Concrete substrates must be mechanically prepared using abrasive blast cleaning or milling to remove cement laitance, existing coatings and achieve a gripping profile that is clean, dry and free from litance and any other form of surface contamination. The installation instructions in manufacturer's published literature should be strictly complied with including but not limited to the following:- (bb) Chipping out any visible cracks in "V-Groove" pattern as applicable. Special attention on this part Cleaning of cracks & then filling those cracks with SIKA latex SBR 100 putty/ Dr Fixit 302 SBR late Perma latex SBR / FOSROC Nitabond SBR latex / Asian Paints latex as required. Final cleaning surface with power grinder, wire brush, hair brush & vacuum pressure if required. (cc) Dampen all surfaces immediately ahead of application of Acrylic modified Cementitious coating Sika Top Seal - 107/ Brush Bond FOSROC/ Dr Fixit/ STP/CICO. Supply and lay 40mm bore galvanised pipe light grade of ISI marked for passing of cable fixed to poles/walls/laid under floor/ laid in trenches as cable protection complete with and including fittings as required compete all as specified and directed.Note:- Excavation & Earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection cover, pipe and joint shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BoQ.

M&L for Sand cushioning using sand suitable for plaster works to under ground cable in trenches/existing cable trenches/ducts in layers of 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep punned to 10cm after laying and stretching the cable complete all as specified and directed. Note : 18 cm punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

Supply and lay cable protection cover with Bricks; common burnt clay building bricks, sub-class ‘B’ designation 75, (size 23cmx11.5cmx7.5cm) putting accross the cable with width of protection cover equal to length of brick, abutting to each other for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete with Galvanised Iron earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at (Earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) a depth not less than 2.25m below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at depth not less than 1.5m below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connection by using 4mm dia galvanised earth wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and protected by 15mm bore GI pipe light grade connected to main switch board or main control board and 20mm bore GI pipe light grade for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, 80mm thick pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover reinforced with hard drawn steel wire fabric weighing not less than 4Kg/Sqm in lieu of CI cover, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 pit/chamber including all necessary excavation: and earth work, form work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m all as specified and al shown in Electrical Plate No.3 of MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2009 Part-I complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The unit rate shall deemed to include for Test point, PCC pit, 4mm dia GI earth wire from top of the earth plate up to 7.5m above ground level. In case 15mm bore GIprotection pipe required is less than 7.5m, no price adjustment shall be made. (ii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings, junctions, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (iii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.
