Providing cathodic protection repair and rehabilitation of Chajja at Rashtrapati Bhavan New Delhi Sub Head At Fore court from North Court entrance to the cabinet side Phase III

Providing and fixing tripple scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.

Extra for additional height in centering, shuttering where ever required with adequate bracing, propping etc., including cost of de-shuttering and decentering at all levels, over a height of 3.5 m, for every additional height of 1 metre or part thereof (Plan area to be measured). Suspended floors, roofs, landing, beams and balconies (Plan area to be measured)

Carrying out half cell potential test using approved instrument like galvapulse as approved by the Engineer in-Charge in order to check half cell potential and connectivity using a copper/copper sulphate reference electrode to ensure the connectivity, recording of readings and interpolating on the drawing etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolishing R.C.C./R.L.C work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge

Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, lacing in position and binding all complete above plinth level. Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Drilling holes of diameter min 4mm larger than new 6 mm diameter rebar into existing concrete substrate for anchoring of new rebar up to depth of 40 d i.e., 240 mm and fixing the new rebar with epoxy resin grout HILTI RE 500 V 3 including scanning for embedded rebar with rebar locator wherever possible to avoid drilling into it, drilling of holes with rotary hammer drill machine, cleaning of holes with brush and clean air jet, chemicals grouting material its injection in required amount with electronic placement gun, placing rebar in position (cost of rebar shall be paid separately) labour, tools, temporary supports, plant and machineries etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge for all heights

Cathodic Protection/Prevention using Dual Phase Hybrid Fusion anodes system: Providing and fixing self-powered dual phase Hybrid anode Galva shield Fusion T2-135 Type 2 Class C sacrificial zinc anode of Vector Corrosion Technologies or equivalent make as approved by Engineer-in-Charge to protect and prevent initialization of corrosion of reinforcement in chajjas of Rashtrapati Bhavan by installing anodes for entire top surface of Chajja as per design prescribed in contract document (spacing shall be 400 to 750mm as prescribed in tender document), as per manufacturer specification, including making connections with reinforcement steel as per manufacturers specification before applying cementatious overlay system at all heights and including of all design, rebar location, making chases, grooves for wire, checking connectivity with approved multimeter, establishing connection with rebar with special rebar connector, installing anodes with proper connection using bottom type connector and covering with SLWC, material, labour, tools, plant and machineries, etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge
