Designing, fabrication/construction of Overpass Structure to support Medical oxygen Pipe Line between Newly constructed oxygen generator plant room and Gas Plant room Of MGPS at District Hospital Kishtwar. The crossover has to be a ladder type structure throughout the horizontal span with minimum width of 12”. The ladder type bridge is to be designed to bear its own load to prevent from sagging as well as to with stand the load of at least one work man over head for fixing of gas pipes as well as during periodical maintenance and servicing. Job involves providing and using of MS rectangular section Pipes , Angle Irons and MS Black pipes with flanges to form supporting pillars for overhead structure, anchoring bolts, MS plates, GI sheets, anchoring blocks, anchoring plates, MS flat , Nuts & bolts and MS Sheet etc., all the material/items to be of the specifications as per design. The construction shall have to be made by way of welding and jointing using fasteners/nuts and bolts etc as per requirement of the design. The Bridge should be constructed so as to provide a continuous and smooth guide way and supporting structure for laying medical gases pipe lines over head at an appropriate height across the road. Job includes providing of reinforced concrete blocks for erecting/anchoring MS pipe pillars with proper alignment, providing/fixing and grouting of imbedded parts of structure in walls of Gas Plant Room at prescribed positions, providing of anchoring/ provision for grouting the structure with the wall of Hospital main building across at the prescribed/leveled position and providing of other materials /accessories needed for installation and fixing at site. The overpass is to be provided with a MS sheet canopy with two inclined sides throughout the length to protect gas pipes from settling of snow on the same. Such arrangement has to be detachable. Design and construction of whole structure starting from the OGP and up to MGPS room should besides being sturdy should look like an integral and continuous structure and should present an aesthetic look. WORKMAN SHIP SHALL BE OF HIGHEST ORDER. The arrangement is also to be provided with LED light signal type indicators to draw attention of commuters to prevent accidental smashing by high rise/hoisting machinery such as Cranes, Excavators or over loaded Trucks or dumpers passing from below the Pipes’ over pass. The Job also includes applying of red oxide and two coats of enamel paint of approved shade.
