SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I

Moblization/Transportation erection and dismantling of all required equipment at proposed site including deployment of shifted and suitable for efective soil investigation as directed.

Carrying out soil instivestigation as per relevant IS codes complete all as specified and directed including the following:- (a) Boring 150mm dia holes upto 12m at various location as shown at site by Engineer-in-charge in any kind of soil but excluding rock, collection of undisturbed sample at every 1.00m depth. Collection of undisturbed sample at suitable depth as required at site. Conducting standrad penetration test as per relevant IS at an interval of 1.50m as under:-

(b) Carrying out following laboratory tests on the soil samples as per IS codes:- (i) Sieve analysis and Hydrometer tests for identification and classification of soil based on properties and grain size (ii) Specific graviry of soil (iii) Studies of settlement characterstics of soil based on the consolidation test and liquid and plastic limit. (iv) Stratification of soil for entire depth of bore log including gruond water table location and any other properties. Evaluations of shear parameters of undisturbed soil samples by adopting direct shear test. (v) Nature Moisture content, void ratio and porosity, Tri-axial and direct shear test and unconfined compression test of undisturbed samples and bulk, submerged and dry density of the soil.

(c) Plate load test at appropriate depth to evaluate modulus of sub grade reaction as per relevant IS specification complete all as specification complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(d) compilation of SSI report as per SI via field and laboratory test result, preperation of reports, recommendation for type of foundation, water table with clear unambiguos recommendations for type of foundation for all structures with bearing capacity/pile capacities. (i) Evaluation of safe bearing capacity of soil with respect to shear failure test and permissible settlement (Total and differential) alongwith recommendation about type of foundation and minmum depth of foundation to be adopted. (ii) Specific suggestion if any soil treatment is required below foundation/ground floor/Roads and type of treatment to be carried out. (iii) Bore log diagram duly showing the differents layers of strata met alongwith their depths.

(e) Carrying out vetting from govt engineering college/NIT/IIT of the above soil investigation reports.
