Water proofing treatment in the RCC Roof slab/ Portico Slab

Surface preparation

Step-1 Removal of all the old tiles, if exist and cleaning the same to remove the loose particles, debris, dust etc., then saturating the surface with water, including cost of labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Step-2 Providing and applying Koster Polysil TG 500 / Dr. Fixit or equivalent primer on the prepared surface as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-3 Providing and applying Talrak Flexeal Elastic/ Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or equivalent waterproofing coating on the primed surface in two coats, as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-4 Providing and applying Koster Polysil TG 500 / Dr. Fixit or equivalent primer on the water proofing coating, as per manufacturers specifications, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles, etc., complete.

Step-5 Providing and laying vapour barrier polyethyene film of 200 gsm or equivalent without any wrinkles, as per manufacturers specification, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Step-6 Providing and laying Non- Woven geotextile sheet or equivalent over the vapour barrier, as per manufacturers specification, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Step-7 Providing and laying M20 Fibre Reinforcement Concrete Screed over the treated surface as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Expansion Joints

Step-1 Removal of all the filling materials from the joints. Clean and grind off edges to smooth of surface free from loose particle, pointing edges etc., and applying ABRO tape on either sides of the joints to earmark appliaction of adhesives, including cost of labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Step-2 Providing and applying Talrak Tenseal EP or equivalent adhesive for sealing the moving/ non moving joints between the structural members, as per manufacturers specification, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Step-3 Providing and laying Talrak Tenseal XS or equivalent joint tap of 150 mm to 200 mm width for sealing the separation joint between the structural members, as per manufacturers specification, including cost of materials, labour, consumables, tools and tackles etc., complete.

Polysulphide sealant in Expansion joints

(a) Surface preparation: preparing the surface by chipping & cleaning the surface with wire brush and free from all contamination. Wash it thoroughly with high jet water.

(b) providing and fixing primer coat for polysulphide sealant over the priming coat application of Polysulphide sealant.

Providing and fixing sheet covering over expansion joints with iron screws as per design to match colour/shade of wall treatment -Aluminium fluted strips 200mm wide 2.00 mm thick.

Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid plain white color board for backing of cup boards and bathroom/kitchen cabinets etc. of required size comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) having minimum density of 650 kg/cum and screw withdrawal strength of 1800 N (Face) & 900 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength 50 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 850 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant and fixing with stainless steel screws etc. all as per direction of Engineer-In- Charge. (Note: stainless steel screws shall be paid separately)

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) :

For fixed portion

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.

In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix :

1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface :

(a) Water thinnable cement primer

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturer's specification.

Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade

Applying priming coat:
