SPL REPAIR TO POWER TRANSFORMER 33 11 KV, SER NO.41584 2 MAKE VOLTAMP INSTALLED AT COD AGRA UNDER GE (EAST) AGRA

Dismantling and taking out power transformer of capacity 3150 KVA, 33/11 KV from its position for repair, servicing & rewinding installed at MRS on plinth structure Make - Voltamp SM No.580M/3880/TFR/14 and (Ser No.41584/2) by disconnecting & opening HV, LV Electrical connection, earthing connection along with following other works :- (a) Transportation of transformer from COD Agra to manufacturer's workshop or as directed by GE and back to site by making necessary arrangement of T&P (Crane, recovery vehicle, tripoid to be arranged by the contractor as directed). (b) Opening of transformer top cover by extraction, removing of serviceable / unserviceable nuts bolts and washers and lifting primary coil (HV) and secondary coil (LV), dismantling of transformer part by part carefully and display all the parts without damaging any portion for inspection. (c) Draining out of transformer oil. (d) Reassembling the transformer complete with all existing serviceable parts and new parts as ordered. (e) Reinstall the transformer at site in position as directed after repair connecting HV, LV elecrical connections, earthing connection.

(f) Testing of transformer as per IS-2026 be carried out in authorized lab with following test :- (i) Turns ratio test. (ii) Magnetic balance test (iii) Vector group test (iv) Winding resistance test HV & LV (v) Insulation resistance test (vi) Open circuit test @ 100% of rated voltage (vii) Short circuit test @ principle tap (viii) Induced over voltage test (ix) Separate source voltage test (x) BDV test of transformer oil (g) Checking / overhauling oil cooled tap changer (OCTC) testing. (h) Minor parts required for testing of transformer, consumable items required during installation of transformer, testing of earthing servicing & testing of bucholz relay, servicing of bushing, CTs, WTI & OTI and to make transformer in operational condition complete in all respect and making transformer ready for testing of 33/11 KV all routine test to checking all the parameters in workshop completely shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts like, rewinding, reinsulation of primary and secondary coil with copper winding wire, transformer oil etc shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ. (ii) Renewal of adequate size nut, bolts, washers, gasket of transformer top cover shall deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Supply and filling of transformer oil conforming to IS -335 of 1993 upto desired level of transformer oil capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Dielectric strength of oil should not be less than 42 KV.

M&L for rewinding of primary coil (33 KV) of 33/11 KV transformer of 3150 KVA capacity using proper size DPC copper wire and insulation material, heating coils in heat chamber after rewinding including taking out carefully burnt unserviceable copper winding of coils complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for re-insulation of primary coil and core of transformer of 33/11 KV using proper size paper insulation material made out of DPC copper wire and HT insulation material suitable for HT 33/11 KV transformer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Item shall be measured only where re-insulation of copper wire is required

M&L for rewinding of secondary coil (11 KV) of 33/11 KV, transformer 3150 KVA capacity using proper size DPC copper wire and insulation material, heating coils in heat chamber after rewinding including taking out carefully burnt unserviceable copper winding of coils complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for re-insulation of secondary coil and core (11 KV) of transformer by using proper size of paper insulation material of form DPC copper wire and insulation material suitable for HT 33/11 KV transformer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Item shall be measured only where re-insulation of copper wire is required.

M&L for preparation of old painted of iron / steel surfaces of transformer of capacity 3150 KVA, 33/11 KV transformer by scrapping with steel wire brush / scrapper emery paper etc and applying one coats of synthetic enamel smoke grey paint and painting shall be done by spray machine including writing of MES No and date of repair etc at prominent place / location of transformer with black paint of back ground with white lettering complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for inspecting repair, testing and caibration of all control & relay complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge including the following :- (a) IDMT relay (b) Master relay (c) All other miscellenous relays including checking of all wiring circuit. Note :- Tripping machanism as per tansformer protection requirement shall be got done from Torrent Power Corporation before energizing the transformer.

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 M below normal ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 M below normal ground level , connected to and including copper strip 25 x 3 mm as earth lead soldered and riveted to earth plate by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers, of copper with connected to test point and testing on completion including 40 mm GI light grade pipe for earth lead protection from earth point to earth plate, including provn adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with 35 % common salt to a packed thickness of not less than 15 cm in alternate layers of charcoal and salt on all sides of earth plate with 20mm bore medium grade GI Pipe for watering,GI check nut, funnel and wire mesh with and including all necessary excavation & earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance 50 metre,,PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 as in earth pit, 40 mm thick RCC cover using cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 reinforced with & including 8 mm dia mild steel TMT bar @ 100 mm c/c Both way with suitable handle for lifting arrangement & including form work complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part I 2009 and as directed. NOTES:- (i) On testing, after completion of Job, if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing shall be redone at without any extra cost by contractor.
