SPECIAL REPAIRS TO MAIN RISING PIPELINE, GATE VALVES, PRVs AND OUTLET SYSTEM AT OLD AND NEW NAVY NAGAR AREA BUILDINGS UNDER GE (NW) NAVY NAGAR COLABA, MUMBAI

Supply/Fixing in repair/replacement of 15 mm bore steel water tubing, galvanised, Medium grade with all fittings in shafts such as nipple, union, socket, elbow, bends, fixed to wall up to 15 th floor in high rise buildings in short piece/length, including breaking the existing brick wall for replacement of corroded GI pipe in/on wall and making good the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note for item Nos 1 to 6 (1) Work to be carried out in high rise buildings plain wall or in shafts or in terraces or inside the flats for cutting the existing GI pipe line and replace the same with new GI pipe in short piece or full length. (2) Provision of safety measures to the employs worked under Contractor only as per latest guideline. (3) Provision of suitable steel/ bamboo scaffolding for access to all location of work, including multiple shifts and re-erection as necessary, disposal of all unserviceable materials after completion of work is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra payment shall be admissible on this account.

Supply and fix in repairs in existing line, 40 mm bore gun metal gate valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe including fittings i.e. union, socket etc complete all as specified.

Construction of brick masonery valve chamber in repair of size 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2 M (internal dimension) (above GL 0.30 mtr) suitable for fixing of sluice valves, 15cm thick foundation using PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 over 15cm thick hardcore of broken stone, 23cm thick brick walls built in cement and sand mortar 1:4, 15mm thick internal and external plaster including top of floor in cement and sand mortar 1:3, 15mm thick, finished even and smooth, without using extra cement, 5 mm thick plate cover on 50mm x 50mm x 6mm MS angle frame embeded in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1coping, having rectangular, hinged, opening of size 150 x 100mm with locking arrangements ,hold fasts, etc, applying one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint to all steel surfaces and earth work in any type of soil including disposal of debris outside MD land complete all as specified.
