M&L for maintenance free chemical earthing system complete with 03 (three) Nos copper bonded rods, 17.2 mm dia 3000 mm long electrode buried at suitable distance apart directly in ground, to bore holes of 100 mm dia vertically to a depth not less than 3.60 meter deep below ground level with top edge of earth electrode at a depth not less than 100 mm below normal ground level, provision of clamps made of gun metal and copper strip of size 25x3 mm for inter connection of 03 Nos copper bonded rods and laying at least 500 mm below in the ground and further connected to test point terminal block (copper strip and test terminal block shall be measured seperately) including back filling of each bore holes with advanced earth enhancing compound 32 kilogram (minimum) (Total 96 Kg for 03 bore hole) for artifical treatment to soil so as to achieve earth resistance below 01 Ohms as specified in para 19.140 of SSR Pt-1 2009, including provision of earthing pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 and pre-cast RCC cover slab (1:2:4 type B-1) of size 400x400x50 mm thick, reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @75 mm c/c both ways, with two Nos handle for lifting made out of 12mm dia TMT bar, including necessary earth work and three coats of white wash on plastered/PCC surface (exposed surface) and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Addtional chemical compound if required on account to achieve earth resistance less than 1.00 ohm shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. On testing after completion of job, if desired earth resistance (i.e. less than one ohm) is not obtained, the earthing shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (b) The work of chemical earthing shall be carried out from the approved manufacturer. The contractor shall be get approved a line plan of earthing with showing all dimensions & materials details. (c) All joint are nut bolts as well as brazing.

Material and Labour for earthing complete with Steel earth plate electrode 600mmx600mmx6mm thick burried in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25meters below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 meter below the ground level, earth plate surrounded 15cm thick layers of common salt and charcoal dust starting from ground below 15 cm of earth plate and up to 15 cm above the same. GI plate connected with galvanised iron strip of 25x4 mm by means of Copper nuts, bolts and washers. Strip shall be laid in 40mm dia light grade GI pipe as protection from top of the plate up to test point (cost of protection pipe up to 7.5 meters from earth electrode will be included in the rates quoted by the contractor) with following complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I & testing on completion :- (a) GI strip of size 25mm x 4mm. (b) Watering pipe GI light grade 20mm dia from top of the earth electrode up to MS funnel with wire mesh embeded in floor of PCC earth pit. (GI Funnel should properly be tightened on GI watering pipe and embeded in PCC earth pit with open top suitable for watering of earth pits) (c) Excavation & earthwork in any type of soil PCC earth pit 30x30x30cm constructed in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 exposed surfaces smoothly finished with 15mm thick cement mortar 1:6 including RCC pit cover 50mm thick 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with 8mm dia mild steel TMT bar 75mm centre to centre with 2 Nos MS handles of 12mm dia mild steel TMT bars suitable for carrying of pit cover.

S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall or batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in coduit/pipe or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20x3 mm copper strip complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall or batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in coduit/pipe or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 25x4 mm GI strip complete all as specified and directed.

S&F PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor cable 1x16 Sqmm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall or batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in rigid PVC coduit/pipe 20mm dia or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified and directed. Note:- PVC rigid conduit shall be measured and paid under relevent item.

S&F sheet metal enclosure, SPN type with two pin & earth plug and socket (industrial type DB) with and including one MCB SP, C Curve type of capacity 20 Amp, 10 KA complete all as specified and directed.

S&F triple pole and neutral enclosure with a three pin and earth plug and socket complete with one triple pole MCB of rating 32 Amps complete all as specified and directed.

M&L wiring for curcuit/submain wiring alongwith earth wire of FRLSH PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in surface/recessed of size 4x10 Sqmm + 2x10 Sqmm earth wire including 32mm dia of PVC conduit concealed and lugs/thimble with nuts, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 6 run of 10 Sqmm cable and one run of PVC conduit shall be measured one unit (RM)

M&L for circuit/submain wiring for industrial socket alongwith earth wire of FRLSH PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in surface/recessed of size 2x6 Sqmm + 1x6 Sqmm earth wire including 25mm dia of PVC conduit concealed and lugs/thimble with nuts, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 3 run of 6 Sqmm cable and one run of PVC conduit shall be measured one unit (RM)

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 m depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying UG cables, LT cable etc completre all as specified and directed

All as per item srl No 21.00 but in hard/dense soil.

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated materials to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches burnt brick sub class 'B' standard size for cable protection keeping width of the brick parallel to the length of the cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spread clean dry river sand in trenches, ducts including leveling, punning for cushioning of cables complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Punned thickness of sand cushioning shall be measured.

Supply and laying of GI pipe medium grade of 50mm dia laid in trenches for protection of UG cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of pole around pole complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix rigid non-metallic PVC conduit 32mm exclusive of boxes (junction/terminal) but inclusive all tees, bends, elbows, reducers bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for wiring for curcuit/submain wiring of industrial socket alongwith earth wire of FRLSH PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in surface/recessed of size 4x16 Sqmm + 2x16 Sqmm earth wire including 32mm dia rigid PVC of conduit concealed and lugs/thimble with nuts, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 6 run of 16 Sqmm cable and one run of PVC conduit shall be measured one unit (RM)
