PROVISION OF DG SET 62.5 KVA FOR HQ CEJZ PERIMETER LIGHT AND MES COLONY PUMP HOUSE, AND SPECIAL REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF BER DG SETS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS UNDER GE (WEST) JABALPUR

Amount

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable, GI strip etc including forming bottom surfaces required as per site conditions and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (Soil) not exceeding 50M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5M above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Drilling (Horizontally) to existing road (maximum 10M wide) suitable for passing of GI tubing of dia upto 80mm as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All necessary T&P required at site for drilling shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Supply and fixing MCCB 125Amps, adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting type, 4 pole, breaking capacity 25 kA at 415 volts complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Havells/ Legrand/ L&T/ Schneider/ Siemens as approved by GE.

Supply and fixing MCCB 200Amps, adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting type, 4 pole, breaking capacity 25 kA at 415 volts complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Havells/ Legrand/ L&T/ Schneider/ Siemens as approved by GE.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead with 32x6mm galvanised iron strips, fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/ pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc including necessary welding/ jointing as required complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work if required, same shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50M deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade including necessary fittings for protection of earthing strip, watering pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade, concrete chamber in PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm grade aggregate, coping shall be in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm grade aggregate and internal surfaces of concrete chamber shall be given 12mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge (0.63 mm) 8 mesh per linear incl 50mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm MS deformed bar @ 75 mm C/C both ways, char coal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) including all necessary excavation & earth work and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50M and providing connection points with MS/ GI bolts & washers as required and connection from earth test point to earth electrode with same GI earth strip alongwith protection pipe and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- GI strip and protection pipe from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates as quoted by the contractor.

Supply & fixing of automatic outdoor light switch with pole mountable enclosure consisting of NATURE SWITCH-02, power contactor for load switching, MCB, and terminal blocks. Switch shall be designed for automatic control of outdoor lighting, using Space Grade Sensors and an advanced micro controller. Enclosure shall consist of mounting brackets, cable glands, openable door with lock and key. Enclosure shall be made out of UV stabilized, FR grade special moulding compound to provide a rust proof, electric shock proof, termite proof, outdoor mountable electrically insulating body capable of enduring solar radiation in the outdoor conforming to IP-54. Power 8kW three phase, contactor rating 25 Amp (AC3) conforms to IEC- 60947-4-1/ IS-13947-4-1 and MCB rating 32 Amp conforms to IEC- 60898/ IS- 8828. Circuit wiring shall be minimum 10sqmm copper conductor cable as asked by GE including making all necessary connections and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed. Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying well burnt sub-class 'B' fly ash bricks laid dry, flat, with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing/ laying of 50mm bore dia GI pipe light grade in trenches/ under roads/ along pole/ wall for cable protection including all necessary fittings & clamps made out of 25x3mm flat iron etc as required complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Havells or Finolex or Gloster or Plaza or Universal as approved by GE.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning complete of OEM manufactured, static silent (Sound proof enclosure) Diesel Engine Driven Generating set capable of delivering 36 kW (45 KVA output), at prime mover rating at 0.85 load factor as per clause 13.3.2 of ISO-8528 (Part-I), 415 Volts (AC three phase, 4 Wire system of supply) 50 Hz at 0.80 minimum power factor. The DG set shall consists of diesel engine coupled to a matching alternator, through flexible coupling and mounted on common base frame and complete with AMF control panel standardized by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangements and inlet, outlet return inlet oil arrangement, exhaust pipe including all mounting accessories as required/ suitable for installation at Jabalpur (MP) complete including, anti-vibration pads, including all features to comply with latest CPCB guidelines and comprising of followings:- Note:- Capacity of engine, alternators shall be worked out taking all derating factors into consideration.

(a) ENGINE (prime mover): Diesel engine 1500 RPM, direct injection, 04 (Four) cylinders, in line, four stroke, conforming to ISO 3046/BS 5514, naturally turbo charged, capable of giving adequate BHP (Not less than 57 BHP) to drive alternator capable of delivering 36 kW (45 KVA) at outdoor atmoshpheric conditions at Jabalpur (MP), 12/24 Volts (as per manufacturer recommendations) electric battery start, complete with dynamically balanced fly wheel, all standard fittings/ fixtures as per manufacturers with and including suitable panel with tachometer, lub oil temperature, pressure gauze and frequency meter and also including self starter system, dynamo, fuel electric control panel with electronic governor (ECPG) and engine protection systems (shut down, high water temperature, low lub oil, oil pressure, over speed etc), fuel tank and first fill of lub oil and other consumables items etc complete. (b) Alternator: Brushless AC alternator, 3 phase 415 Volts, 4 wire rated for output of 45 KVA/ 36kW, minimum power factor 0.80, 1500 RPM, IP23 protection class enclosure, insulation class "H", salient pole, revolving field, single bearing automatic voltage regulator coupled through flexible coupling with and to match with the engine as specified above. MAKE: STAMFORD or equivalent model of other make- CATERPILLAR or GREAVES COTTON LTD. or KIRLOSKAR or JYOTI as approved by GE .

(c) BASE PLATE: Made out of structural steel as per manufacturers recommended design/specifications complete.

(d) Accoustic Enclosure: Sheet metal fabricated cope type, powder coated silent enclosure manufactured on CNC machines as per CPCB norms complete. Note: Enclosure shall be designed for reducing the sound level as under with following conditions as laid down in GSR No. 371 (E) dt 17 May 2002:- (i) 75 DB at a distance of 1.0M at 75% load under field condition. (ii) 70 DB at 3.0M from Gen set when DG set is working at full load along with testing conformance, labelling certificaton, etc

(f) Foundation/ Plinth/ Base: PCC platform of size extended 0.50M all round of DG set (outer dimensions), 0.60M above GL and 0.15M below GL in PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, foundation 150mm thick and 150mm extending on all sides of PCC platform in PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate including necessary excavation & earth work and plaster/ rendering in CM 1:4 on all sides of PCC platform upto 15cm below from GL and two coats of white wash on plastered surfaces including prepration of surfaces complete all as directed.

(g) Diesel storage tank of capacity, adequate for storage of diesel for 12 hours operation of Gen set.

(h) Miscellaneous: Tool kit, operation and maintenance catalogue, spare parts list, overhauling manuals, guarnatee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer standard practices as and when asked.

General Notes for item No. 18.00:- (i) The DG set shall be taken over only after it has been tested as per relevant IS specification/ instructiions by the contractor in the presence of an officer nominated by the Accepting Officer. (ii) All the expenses incurred on the above test including provision of testing apparatus required to carry out the above mentioned test shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government. If the result of the test is not found satisfactory, the contractor shall at his own expense, replace the defective equipments/ materials/ accessories or any thereof as directed by the GE. Decision of Accepting Officer shall be final, conclusive and binding in this respect.

Supply and fix on-load change over switch of capacity 125 Amps in sheet metal enclosure, 4 Pole, 415 Volts to be fixed on wall with and including FI 32X6mm & all necessary nuts, bolts, washers etc and making all electric connections complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Havells Cat part No. IHCNFE0125 or equivalent model of make- L&T or Legrand or ABB or Schneider as approved by GE.

Supply and fix on-load change over switch of capacity 160 Amps in sheet metal enclosure, 4 Pole, 415 Volts to be fixed on wall with and including FI 32X6mm & all necessary nuts, bolts, washers etc and making all electric connections complete all as specified and directed.
