Removal of existing bitumen felt based waterproofing treatment by cutting, cleaning the exposed surface by thoroughly scrapping / brushing without damaging the roof slab.Disposal of old removed Bitumen felt/APP membrane including wastage of new APP membrane shall be done as per latest guidelines of Central/State Pollution control Board Authorities

Providing and laying 3 mm thick polymer modified prefabricated bituminous waterproofing membrane over roofs of buildings as per the technical specifications & details given in Scope of Work. The rate shall include for the following activities : (a) Surface preparation by wire brushes and cleanig to remove all loose particles, dirt, etc. from the roof surface complete. (b)Application of modified bitumenous primer @ 1.00 Ltr. Per 5.00 Sq. M. (on an average basis). (c)Laying of 3 mm thick polymer modified bituminous waterproofing membrane, each strip to have at least 100mm overlapping at longitudinal edges as well as at the ends including installing / fixing by thermofusion by gas torch.Proper sealing of overlaps shall be done by thermofusion & hot trowelling, as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.The rate shall include for erection and removal of staging / scaffolding wherever required complete. (d) Application of bitumenous aluminium paint @ 0.10 Ltr./ Sq.M. (one or more coats). Note : Measurements shall be taken for finished area only.

Providing and applying two neat coats of elastomeric, acrylic water proof exterior coating as per manufacturers specifications with "Damp Proof" of Asian Paint or equivalent, over one coat of primer with Asian Paint Primer or equivalent approved primer as per manufacturers specification or directions of Engineer In-charge.(work includes filling of cracks of width upto 1 mm with approved sealant)

Preparing surfaces of masonry and applying cement plaster 1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand) using water proofing equivalent approved compound from any other approved manufecturer suitable for mixing in cement.(Cement required shall be issued free of cost from NFL) a) 15 mm thick.

Preparing surfaces and applying cement plaster 1:3 (1cement: 3 fine sand) 6mm thick on ceiling/RCCshelves/R.C.C. surfaces etc.(Cement required shall be issued free of cost from NFL)

Roof grading at all heights with cement concrete1:2:4 ( 1 Cement : 2 Coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 12.5/10 mm and down size) for laying water proofing treatment on roofs, with coarse sand(Karera sand) including mixing of approved Antishrikage compound and water proofing compound from M/s Pidilite or equivalent approved compound from any other approved manufacturer, suitable for mixing in cement complete.(Cement required shall be issued free of cost from NFL)

Providing and fixing locally available good quality MS wire chicken mesh with MS nails wherever required complete as per directions of Engineer Incharge.

Dismantling of old plaster or skirting, raking out joints and cleaning the surfaces for fresh plaster work including disposal of rubbish to dumping ground in NFL premises as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling tile work (Cement / Ceramic / Glazed) in floors and roofs/dados in cement mortar including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of rubbish to the dumping area as per directions of EIC.

Demolishing plain cement/LIME concrete work including disposal of material within 50 mtrs. lead.

Removing small plants grown on buildings (on walls, Chhajjas etc.), by cutting the brick work/RCC for uprooting of the plants and making good the same as per directions of Engineer Incharge, including making approach (Plaster/concrete used for filling the cavity shall be paid separately).

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid PVC rain water pipes confirming to IS 13592, Type A including jointing with seal ring leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion, Single socketed pipes

i) 110 mm diameter.

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid PVC moulded fittings/ accessories for unplasticised pipes confirming to IS 13592,Type A including jointing with seal ring leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion
