Racking out the brick joints of walls, arches, etc.,to a depth of approximately 5cm for a wall thickness of 45cm and above to remove the dead mortar in between the brick joints and cleaning the surface with coir brush and washed with pure water etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Pointing,grouting and filleting the brick joint of wall and arches with lime mortar 1:2 (one of lime and two of sand) using lime in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Removing and numbering of Stone slab of size 3.0mx0.9x0.10 and carefully stacking/laying it for reuse etc complete complying with standard specification

Removing and numbering of Stone beam of size 0.3x0.45m and carefully stacking/laying it for reuse etc complete complying with standard specification

Dismantling of damaged and undulated stone flooring and conveying debris from all floors to ground level outside the mahal etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing two legged scaffolding using 48.30mm dia heavy duty MS pipe over all height of 3.00m the distance between 2 legs being 1.25m and the spacing of the post being 2m in each rows and providing platform with C.W. planks using 40mm thick silver oak and 1.00m wide in complete form with horizontal bracings @ 1.50m c/c vertical direction and with cross bracings using same 48.30mm dia including cutting, threading assembly with red oxide primer, labour charges cost of specials such on large plate, shoe, carcher, coupling, bolt and nut transportation charges. The bottom of vertical post shall rest on 300x300x70mm 1:2:4 concrete base etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Making, supplying and fixing of well seasoned best quality teak wood full length new members like beam , joist etc., in position for roofing portion or any other area , TW frames for doors and windows including making necessary size holes in masonry to recieve the ends of wooden memnbers , all fixtures and fastenings with one coat of primer etc., as directed by the departmental officers. ( Items to include using a larger section of wood to get the mouldings and chamfers as per orginal design , sample to be shown to the Executive Engineer for approval before use on works.)

Redoing of Madras terrace roofing with brick on edge and one course of apl. Bricks over 20 mm lime pavement and laying of brick jelly concrete in lime to a thickness of 150 mm and then laying of 2 course of spl. Brick over 20 mm lime pavement etc., complete complying with standard specification as per directed by the dept. officers

Providing Flat bricks on the terrace top using one layer of specially manufactured superior quality chamber moulded terrace brick of size 6"x3"x1"(15x7.5x2.5cm) for heritage works laid with lime mortar 1:2 and the joints of bricks raked up to receive lime mortar plastering to be done over the roof surface. The flat bricks should be laid in such a manner with proper slope and gradient that the rain water gets discharged easily through rain water outlet pipes freely. The quality of lime to be procured from pollachi shall be of best and high calcium oxide content quality. The flat bricks shall be subjected to curing for a period of 7 to 10 days and after which loose lime particles will be removed complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Finishing the top of roof with one course of machine pressed tiles of size 230mm x 230mm x 20mm of approved quality set in Lime Mortar 1:2 (One lime and Two sand) 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound conforming to ISS at 2% by weight of lime used and the joints pointed neatly to full depth of tiles with lime mortar 1:1.5 (One Lime and One and half Sand)mixed with red oxide and water proofing compound etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Reconstruction of brick masonry wall with similar type of bricks in lime mortar 1:2 (one lime two sand) using wire cut brick of size 9"x4"x3" (Specially manufacturing) and using Pollachi lime in all floors as per traditional preparation and documented type construction such as arches and lintels, walls, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Reconstruction of special Red Granite stone wall using Lime mortar 1:1.5 including laying of brick jelly lime concrete of 40 mm thick in pure lime 1:2 for Core portion of wall well rammed etc., complete complying with standard specification.creeting etc.for foundation and basement including curing, etc., complete complying with standard specifiction.

Relaying brick jelly lime concrete for flooring including dewatering if found necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15cm thick, well rammed etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Relaying of new stone slab of size 3.00x 0.3x0.3m size over bed of stone wall in all floors and pointing the stone joints with same lime mortor including labour charges, scaffolding charges and other incidence charges etc, completed complying with standard specification as diretecd by the departmental officers.

Relaying of dismantled old stone slab of size 3.00x 0.3x0.3m size over bed of stone wall in all floors and pointing the stone joints with same lime mortor including labour charges, scaffolding charges and other incidence charges etc, completed complying with standard specification as diretecd by the departmental officers.

Relaying of flooring with new cut stone of thickenss 75 mm (fully dressed to size on all faces) over bed of existing brick jelly concrete in lime mortar 1: 2 ( One of lime and two of sand) 40mm thick using Pollachi lime in all floors and pointing the stone joints with same lime mortar etc, complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.

Replastering ( base plastering) the brick wall, pillars and arches, etc., with lime mortar 1:2 ( one of lime and two of sand) to a thickness of 30 mm laid in two layers of 15mm thick using Pollachi lime in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers

Replastering the ceiling with Lime mortar 1:1.5 (one Lime and one and half sand), 20mm thick including labour charges for erection and dismantling of scaffolding and curing etc complete complying with standard specifications as directed by the departmental officers.

Finishing the new/old plastered surface with lime in Three layers two base coat and one top coat of fine quality lime layer from the company M-lime. The top finished coat should be done as per approved colour and texture, or as directed by conservation architect/engineer in charge.

White washing three coats of inner walls/ceiling with freshly burnt white shell lime (Pollachi lime) in all floors including cost of lime, blue powder fevicol type gum, brushes, The rate inclusive of cost of all materials and labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Colour washing three coats of outer walls in all floors using best freshly burnt white shell lime (Pollachi lime) and best quality of approved variety of colouring pigment including cost of lime, colouring pigments, fevicol type gum, brushes, the rate inclusive of cost of all materials and labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers (Mineral colours not affecting the lime should only be used).

Providing pest control with antitermite treatment drillin g holes at junciton of walls with floors at 300mm intervals and injucting chemical emulsion on those with cement etc. making holes along the vertical surface out side the walls at 150mm tervals to the depth of 450mm pointing chemical emulsion into the holes and closing holes with chemical etc. spraying all surface of treatment is to be done as per IS code no 5313/Part III 1981 with approved chemical. (The chemical is to be used on the work should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on work) etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Conveying the debris,dismantled materials from the campus and conveying away the same to outside by lorry to a lead of 3km entirely within the city limit including loading and unloading charges and dumping in low lying areas and levelling neatly etc.,complete complying with standard specification.

Construction of mortar pit of inner size 0.90mx0.45m with brick partition wall 11.50cm thick in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) for 60 cm height with necessary earth work open excavation for size of 1.43m x 0.98m to a depth of 0.91m and sand filling for 15 cm thick, Plain Cement Concrete 1:5:10 (one cement, five sand and ten 40mm HBG stone jelly), 8 cm thick with plastering 1:5 (one cement and sand), 12mm thick on both sides and top etc.. complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers
