Making, supplying and fixing of well seasoned best quality teak wood full length new members like beam , joist etc., in position for roofing portion or any other area , TW frames for doors and windows including making necessary size holes in masonry to recieve the ends of wooden memnbers , all fixtures and fastenings with one coat of primer etc., as directed by the departmental officers. ( Items to include using a larger section of wood to get the mouldings and chamfers as per orginal design , sample to be shown to the Executive Engineer for approval before use on works.)
Redoing of Madras terrace roofing with brick on edge and one course of apl. Bricks over 20 mm lime pavement and laying of brick jelly concrete in lime to a thickness of 150 mm and then laying of 2 course of spl. Brick over 20 mm lime pavement etc., complete complying with standard specification as per directed by the dept. officers
Providing Flat bricks on the terrace top using one layer of specially manufactured superior quality chamber moulded terrace brick of size 6"x3"x1"(15x7.5x2.5cm) for heritage works laid with lime mortar 1:2 and the joints of bricks raked up to receive lime mortar plastering to be done over the roof surface. The flat bricks should be laid in such a manner with proper slope and gradient that the rain water gets discharged easily through rain water outlet pipes freely. The quality of lime to be procured from pollachi shall be of best and high calcium oxide content quality. The flat bricks shall be subjected to curing for a period of 7 to 10 days and after which loose lime particles will be removed complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Finishing the top of roof with one course of machine pressed tiles of size 230mm x 230mm x 20mm of approved quality set in Lime Mortar 1:2 (One lime and Two sand) 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound conforming to ISS at 2% by weight of lime used and the joints pointed neatly to full depth of tiles with lime mortar 1:1.5 (One Lime and One and half Sand)mixed with red oxide and water proofing compound etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Reconstruction of brick masonry wall with similar type of bricks in lime mortar 1:2 (one lime two sand) using wire cut brick of size 9"x4"x3" (Specially manufacturing) and using Pollachi lime in all floors as per traditional preparation and documented type construction such as arches and lintels, walls, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Relaying of new stone slab of size 3.00x 0.3x0.3m size over bed of stone wall in all floors and pointing the stone joints with same lime mortor including labour charges, scaffolding charges and other incidence charges etc, completed complying with standard specification as diretecd by the departmental officers.

Replastering the ceiling with Lime mortar 1:1.5 (one Lime and one and half sand), 20mm thick including labour charges for erection and dismantling of scaffolding and curing etc complete complying with standard specifications as directed by the departmental officers.
Finishing the new/old plastered surface with lime in Three layers two base coat and one top coat of fine quality lime layer from the company M-lime. The top finished coat should be done as per approved colour and texture, or as directed by conservation architect/engineer in charge.
White washing three coats of inner walls/ceiling with freshly burnt white shell lime (Pollachi lime) in all floors including cost of lime, blue powder fevicol type gum, brushes, The rate inclusive of cost of all materials and labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Colour washing three coats of outer walls in all floors using best freshly burnt white shell lime (Pollachi lime) and best quality of approved variety of colouring pigment including cost of lime, colouring pigments, fevicol type gum, brushes, the rate inclusive of cost of all materials and labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers (Mineral colours not affecting the lime should only be used).
Providing pest control with antitermite treatment drillin g holes at junciton of walls with floors at 300mm intervals and injucting chemical emulsion on those with cement etc. making holes along the vertical surface out side the walls at 150mm tervals to the depth of 450mm pointing chemical emulsion into the holes and closing holes with chemical etc. spraying all surface of treatment is to be done as per IS code no 5313/Part III 1981 with approved chemical. (The chemical is to be used on the work should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on work) etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Conveying the debris,dismantled materials from the campus and conveying away the same to outside by lorry to a lead of 3km entirely within the city limit including loading and unloading charges and dumping in low lying areas and levelling neatly etc.,complete complying with standard specification.
