Dismantling old Plaster or skirting, raking out joints and cleaning, disposal of debris to the dumping ground within 150 metres lead.
Preparation of surface, providing 20 mm thick External plastering in two coats under layer 12 mm thick with Cement Mortar 1:4 (Using coarse sand) finished with a top layer 8 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:5 (using river sand) including admixtured with approved Water proofing admixture @ 2% by weight of cement used and as per manufacturer’s specifications sieving of sand to required fineness, finishing , curing etc. complete as per specifications.
Dismantling brick bat coba cement based water proofing over roof and chajjas carefully without damaging adjacent structures including lowering and stacking of materials and dispoal of unserviceable materials within 200 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Treatment/repairs of the Cracks and joints in roof, wall, flooring, basement, pipe trenches etc. as and where required in all the buildings as following.
Cutting V groove 10 mm wide 15 mm deep along with the cracks.
Filling the groves with non shrinkable cementious crack filler of approved manufacturer.
Drilling and fixing 12 mm Φ x 100 mm long nozzles by drilling upto 200 mm depth in brick masonry wall & 50 mm depth in RCC; removing the nozzles after completing of grouting job, filling/repairing the holes with polymer modified mortar etc.
Extra over item-4.3 for supplying and grouting of Non Shrinkable Cementitious grouting material of recommended or approved make including cost of all tools & tackles, pump set etc.
Providing structural repairs in old damaged concrete structures/surfaces with approved Polymer modified mortar ("Roffe/Basf/Fosroc" or approved equivalent make suitable for Structural repair) as and where required in all the buildings with following operations. a) Removal of loose/Spalled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete surface and reinforcement steel with wire brush and with water. b) Cleaning the re-bars with Acetone for complete rust removal and washing with water to make the surface clean. c) Applying protective coat/bond coat using polymer and cement in the proportion of 1;1.5 (1part of polymer and 1.5 parts of cement in synthetic enamal paint like consistancy with brush. d) Reinstate the area with polymer modified mortar in layers of maximum 20mm with the proportion of Cement 50Kg :washed and dried river sand 87.50kg; silica sand 37.50Kg. mixed with 10litres of Polymer (or1Kgcement:1.75kg washed and dried river sand ; 0.75 Kg silica sand : 200 ml polymer). e) If thickness of repair exceeds 20mm,after every 20mm thick repair, bond coat as per 3 above to be applied and further thick of repair to be continued for each layer. Note: This work is inclusive of all materials, labour & providing double Tubular scaffolding system using H Frames / APS system or (cup lock type) upto 15 meters height complete all as directed at site.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specification and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork shuttering, centering and steel reinforcement at all Levels.
Providing cement based water proofing treatment to the new terraces, chajjas, cleaning the concrete surfaces, giving injections to the top slab as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all inherient holes, voids, honeycombs etc. in the concrete slab, setting brickbat coba in waterprrof mortar with necessary gradient for easy flow of water and continue the treatment along the inner faces of parapet or other adjoining wall up to a height of 300 mm in thew shape of vattas, with waterproof plaster finished smooth with trovel in cement / geru with false markings of 300 mm squares complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge a) Average 65 mm thick for chajjas using river sand.
Ceramic tile flooring / dado using 6 mm thick matt finished ceramic tiles of sizes as mentioned below 1st quality ("Johnson" or other approved equivalent) over 20 mm thick cement morar 1:3 bedding, close jointed and pointed with matching cement slurry white cement pigment mixed with finished to levels slope or plumb as required including cutting of tiles, curing, acid washing etc. complete a) Anti skid type for Flooring with following option. i) With Approved tiles of size 75 mm x 75 mm x 6mm
b) For Dado / Skirting with following option i) With tiles of sizes 75 mm x 75 mm x 6mm . 1) MONPORASA, 2)RECTIFICADO CONCEPT A TILES, 3) CONCERT "A" TILES(STRAIGHT EDGE) or approved equivalent. Note : All type of tiles including Anti skid tiles for Flooring and Dado tiles shall have to be approved by Engineer-in-charge before excecution of work.

Concrete chipping of top 50mm & upto 75mm maximum in chemical soaked area for Water treatment trenches flooring etc including cleaning complete.
Providing & Laying free flow, shrinkage compensated, corrosion inhibiting high strength Super Fluid Micro Concrete Roff Crete Repair or Equivalent (having compressive strength of min 45MPa as per ASTM-C-579 and flexural strength of min 6MPa as per ASTM-C-348) as per the directions of the manufacturerer using quartz aggregate up to 50 % of weight of Microconcrete for confining the columns, column top, beams etc including curing etc complete as directed by EIC.
Applying one primer coat based on Araldite GY 257: Aradur HY 140 in the ratio 100:50 pbw over bond coat. Over this apply 3 mm thick epoxy mortar using Araldite GY 257: Aradur HY 140 : Mix -10 in the ratio 100:50:900 pbw over this apply 2 layers 100:110 gsm expoy compatible glass c/o impregnated with GY 257/Aradur 140 in the ratio 100:50 and apply over this 2 seal coats based on Araldite GY 257: Aradur HY 140:Silica Flour :Flow Control agent in the ratio 100:60:20:3 pbw and Sprinkling Sand.
Providing and laying Self leveling Epoxy flooring, including preparation of the surface, primer coat, screeding & leveling cost and finishing coat with Polyurethane coat of approved colour and shade manufactured by M/s Cipy Polyurethane or approved equivalent all as per manufacturer’s specifications complete as directed at site. The job to be carried out through a specialized approved agency sample work to be executed and got approved by the EIC. a) for 4 mm thickness.

Providing 20 mm thick plastering using Ready mix external plastering compound of approved make for external faces of brickwork / concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning scaffolding up to 10 metres height complete.all as per specifications including forming drip moulds wherever necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using Hframes with cup lock type on the interior / exterior side upto a height of 15 meter, made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
New reinforcement: Providing new reinforcement for RCC work including cutting, bending, straightening, binding with annealed steel wires of 0.9 to 1.6 mm thickness, and placing in position &/or welding with the existing re-bars wherever necessary complete.
Applying one coat of bonding coat to concrete surfaces/protective coat to reinforcement bars consisting of Araldite GY 257: Hardener HY 450, in the ratio 100:60 pbw by brush and sprinkling of Quartz Sand when the coat is tacky etc complete.
Supplying, stacking and laying of 230 mm thick rubble soling stones as under floor base including packing with smaller stone and compacting, ramming including spreading and consolidation of blinding material, moorum etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing at all levels, precast members using cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of max. size 20 mm) in, copings and / or bed blocks, plain window sills, shelves, louvers, steps, staircases, trench covers, drain covers etc. including hoisting and setting in position with C.M 1:3 (using crushed sand) cost of required centering, shuttering and finishing smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (using Crushed sand) on exposed surfaces complete as per specifications at all levels.
Extra for RCC / PCC Using Ready Mix Concrete from outside Project area including transporting and Pumping from approved Batching plants.
Providing and laying minimum 25 mm thick uniform shade Kotah stone flooring over 20 mm thick (Avearge) base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing in minimum three levels to obtain mirror polish complete with base cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) all as per specifications, patterns and drawings complete.Note:Repairing of existing damaged tiles in garden area.

Providing and constructioning Inspection chambers of Internal size clear dimention of 900 x 600 mm in 230 thick brick masonry with cement mortat 1:4 over a bed of 150 mm thick 1:4:8 cement concrete foundation, plastering with cement mortar 1:4 20 mmthick on inside, out side and all exposed sufaces finished with a floating coat of neat cement, brick corbelling at top to provide opening of 900 X 450 mm, embedding the frame and cover with CC 1:2:4 concrete, and fixing cast iron steps if necessary at 300mm intervals complete . Depth of chamber not exceeding 900mm. (excavation, soling, cast iron cover and C.I steps will be paid separately under relevant item).
Extra depth over initial depth of 900 mm for chambers of 900 x 600mm internal size.including fixing cast iron steps (C.I steps shall be paid under relevant item).

S. flat of 50x6mm beading to hold crimp net, M.S. channel supports of ISMC 150mm x 75mm, providing MS plate of size 225mm x 3mm and of length equal to the width of the gate, fixed to the gate, including pivot type hinges, locking arrangements, tower bolts, embedding channel posts in cement concrete 1:2:4 including cost of excavation, PCC, formwork, painting the gate & all steel work with two coats of approved paint over a coat of primer etc. complete as per specifications & drawings.
Providing Structural steel work in M.S Plain Plates, chequrred Plates, MS angles, Channels, square pipes for Embedded Parts, Trench Covers, Connection plates including Crimpnet jali 25x25mm square etc.including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer etc.including cost of structural steel Plates, welding all labour charges etc. complete as per drawings and specifications. Using materials produced by the own plants of SAIL, RINL (Vizag Steel) and TATA only using virgin materials. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials. Important Note: 1.Structural steel confirming to IS 2062 shall be supplied from M/s. SAIL/ M/s. RINL (VIZAG STEEL ) from their own plants rolled from virgin materials to be procured directly or from their authorised dealers and test certificate to be produced. 2.If other than SAIL / RINL is specified in the Item of the Tender product to be got approved by the Project Engineer before procurement and relevant Test certificate to be produced. Structural steel to confirm IS 2062. 3.The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also third party testing from approved laboratories with out any extra cost. 4.Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates. 5.Welding Electrodes manufactured by M/s. Advani Oerlicon / ESAB India & D& H of specified suitable grade only shall be used. 6.Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted . 7.Rate inclusive of all consumables like GAS, welding electrodes and tools and tackles etc.

Supply of material & Labour cost for exterior painting of walls of Reactor Building, Service Building & Spent Fuel Storage Building of approved shade of High Build Protective, anti carbonation, UV resistant, Elastomeric exterior grade paint ('Clearseal' manufactured by APURVA Buildcare technoligies pvt Ltd or equivalent approved make) of required shade, minimium dry film thickness of 250 microns acheived in two or more coats including one suitable primer coat of clearseal with water in ratio of 1:2 and 2 coats of finishing coat with out water (Over all consumption of 8.25 Litres per 10.00 Sq.m) including Surface preparation by mechanical tools by manual chipping and wire brushing and cleaning with sand paper to remove loose rust as directed by the manufacturers and as per tender specifications or as directed by EIC. a) On Plain Plastered / Sand Face Plaster / Concrete Sufaces.
Labour charges for murum / soil filling under floors of specified thickness in layers of not exceeding 150mm thickness including consolidation etc. complete (using murrum / soil available at BARC campus with a lead of up to 4 Km).
Providing patented cement based water proofing treatment from outside to Basement, lift pits, trenches, and other underground structures during construction, consisting of a water proof layer over cement concrete 1:3:6 bedding finished with Rough Shahbad stone of about 20 mm thick, well pointed in the joints with cement and approved make waterproofing compound as per manufcturer's specification and continuing the treatment after completion of floor slab & side walls on the outer face of walls up to 300 mm above the adjacent ground level complete as directed by the Engineer-in?charge. The total treatment of waterproofing treatment shall be around 75 mm for floors and 35 to 40 mm thick for walls. a) From 0.00 to 6.0 m depth using river sand / crushed sand. Note: The cost of 1:3:6 is not included in this item and is to be catered for separately. A working space of about 600 mm shall have to be provided in the excavtion separately for the treatment of exterior faces of walls. The water proofing treatment is to be Guaranteed for borne dry condition for a period of 10 years. The measurement for payment shall be as per actual area covered by the treatment.
Repainting of walls, columns, beams & other civil structures, concrete floors, equipments foundations etc by epoxy paints with Apcodur CF 641 of Asian Paints or equivalent make of required shade, minimium dry film thickness of 250 microns acheived in two or more coats including surface preparation, minor civil repairs of cracks etc., preparing the surfaces, removal of old paint, sand papering, as required including cost of scaffoldings (up to a height of 5 meter), ladders, cost of all painting materials like paints, primer, knifing compounds, epoxy putty, sand paper, cleaning materials etc, cost of labour, all as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.
Dismantling of RCC works including Cutting and stacking of steel reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 100 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete of Grade M-40 using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting , placing, vibrating, including admixtures of approved brand and quality (plasticiser or super plasticiser) if required, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement complete as per specifications up to Plinth Level.
Providing and fixing at all levels precast members using cement concrete of Grade M-40 in copings and / or bed blocks, plain window sills, shelves, louvers, steps, staircases, trench covers, drain covers etc. including hoisting and setting in position with C.M 1:3 (using crushed sand) cost of required centering, shuttering and finishing smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (using crushed sand) on exposed surfaces complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
