Design fabrications, installation, testing and commissioning of 3T capacity overhead gantry crane for lift irrigation scheme Ratti Baktha for pump room of size (8.2×4.7) mtrs. The OHT Crane should consist of an electrically operated rope drum type hoist 3 ton capacity to be provided for lowering and raising of machinery and equipment at LIS Ratti Baktha at a height of 3.2m approx. installed on trolley. The crane should be able to move both longitudinally and transversely (cross travel). For longitudinally travel ISMB of 200mm to be installed on vertical square sections each on both sides of the pump room. Vertical sections erected by way of laying of RCC blocks of size of 2’x2’x2.5’ for anchoring of vertical sections after excavation of 06 no. trenches of size (2’x2’x3’) by excavating floor, soil, removal of excavated material and disposing of the same at appropriate place. Laying of crushed stone 40 mm at the bottom of excavated trenches and then laying of one layer of 1:2:4 concrete mass of 100mm depth, providing and laying of TMT bar steel 10mm, 200 mm square mesh throughout the blocks, providing and fabrication of 04 no. foundation bolts to each block along with nuts and washers as per site requirement and then grouting properly in the foundation block along with laying of cement concrete mass in the ratio of 1:1.5:3. Job further include providing and fabrication of 06 nos. vertical sections each having height approx. 3.2mtr from 150mm MS square pipe having minimum thickness of 5 mm ,fabrication of gusset plates-12 nos. of size 1’x1’from 10mm thick MS plate, drilling of 4 no.of holes of 25 mm dia to MS plates and welding the gusset plates to the one end of vertical sections and then erection of all 06 no vertical sections by bolting the gusset plates with anchoring bolts and tightening properly with nuts/washers including fabrication and welding of 06 no gusset plates of size 1’x1’on the top of the erected 06 no vertical sections for proper positioning of ISMB Rails are to be provided on the ISMB for travel of crane longitudinally by wheels fixed to double (cross side) ISMB of requisite size. For cross travel trolley fixed with wheels has to be mounted on double (cross side) ISMB. Trolley to be provided with control panel and should be operated from floor level of pump room. Trolley has to consist of ISMC of standard size and make. Ends of ISMB-200 to be grouted in the walls of pump room properly. All material and components used should be of standard make and size and to provide for strength & operation of equipment satisfactorily. Technical Details:- 1. Longitudinal travel- 8.0 mtrs. 2. Cross travel – 4.5 mtrs. 3. Vertical height- 3.2 mtrs 4. Load handling capacity -3 Ton with additional factor of safety +10%. Technical specifications: B 1. EOT crane should have three Way of movement. i.e. a) Axial movement to and fro along the length of pump room. b) Axial movement to and fro across the length of pump room. c) 2 m minimum vertical lift required. 4. ISMB 200 2nos having 8.8mtrs length each 5. Square bars of 150mm size 6 nos having length 3.2 mtr each. 6. ISMC 100mm for end locking . 4nos 7. Main motor 5H.P, 960rpm. 1no 9. Main hoist brake motor standard/reputed make 1 no 10. Wire rope 12mm thick (6×37) 11. Hook EN-8 Forging Complete job includes painting of the gantry crane by way applying one coat of primer red oxide and two coats of enamel. Job further includes providing and fitting of single core aluminum cable 240mm square of standard make,108 mtrs. Approx. in lengthfor three units installed there. Job includes proper cutting and thimbling of cables and then fitting from main panel to starter and then from starter to motor. Job includescost of material and labour charges for skilled and semi skilled labour required for the job including taxes as applicable.
