M & L for supply, carrying out B check maintenance of DG set including the replacement of fuel filters, lub oil filters, SLO by pass filters and engine oil as per manufacturer specifications and quantity all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for : 400 KVA DG set , Location : Power House OT Make:- Kirloskar Type 8K 15TA with AMF panel Notes:- (i) 'B' check shall be carried out once in every six months or 250 hours of running of DG Set whichever is earlier. Servicing of DG Set alongwith connected Alternator and Panel Board and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs (ii) Spare parts, engine oil and radiator coolant oil required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares/ filling of oils shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (iii) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item,contractor will provide fuel filter, oil filter, water filter,top head gaskets,fuel pipes, distilled water and petroleum jelly. (iv) List of checks to be carried out under 'B' check is attached as Appendix 'B' to the Particular specifications. and the consumables shall be purchased from Original manufacturers/ manufacturer authorized stockiest/ distrubutor/ dealer only by the contractor and also the contractor always keep minimum required consumable quantities in hand as a pro-active/ preventive maint/ breakdown.

M & L Repair / overhauling radiator assembly of DG set by disconnecting and removing from the engine, dismantling the top and bottom chambers, descaling the sediments, scales, corrosion etc. by means of acid, cleaning and high pressure water washing, air cleaning, re-assembling the same with new gaskets including arresting leakages, if any and fixing to the engine with new hoses, clips etc of 250/400 KVA DG Set all as required and as directed. Note: The rate quoted shall be inclusive of transporting of the radiator to the workshop and back and all incidental charges.

M & L Repair / overhauling Self starter assembly, 12/24 Volt DC of 40 to 82.5 KVA Make: Delco Remi / Lucas TVS assembly of DG Set by disconnecting and removing from the engine, cleaning of all accessories, replacing of worn out parts such as actuator ,gear, solenoid coil ,carbon brushes, bushes, contact plates, jumping leads and seals, revarnishing the field coil, armature and re-assembling the same and re-fixing into the engine including testing all as per original manufacturer's instructions and as directed. NOTE :- 1. The rate quoted by the contractor is deemed to be include for transportation of the item from site to the workshop as applicable and back.
