PROVISION OF APPROACH ROAD AND SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD AT DIPATOLI POCKET OF RANCHI MILITARY STATION UNDER GE DIPATOLI RANCHI

Excavating over areas not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as directed .

150 mm thick spread thickness soling ( or sub base ) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surfaces formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as directed .

150mm thick (7.50 cm thick each layer compacted thickness) Water Bound Maccadam (WBM) with Granite, trap or Basalt , coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) for 1st layer and grading 3 ( 50 mm to 20 mm size) for 2nd layer, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as directed. Note :- Area of consolidated thickness of 150mm thick shall only be measured as single layer and it will not be measured in two layers) separately.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam top surfces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc on WBM surface and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer @10Kg/10 Sqm with paving bitumen( VG-30)and laying bituminous premix aphaltic semi-dense concrete 40mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG 30) by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surface completed all as directed. Note:-work is to be carried out in narrow width or as directed.

Sub-class ‘B’ bricks well burrnt old size, laid on edge in floors,laid dry, complete all as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundations etc. or for shafts, well cess pits, manholes,pier holes,etc. but not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as directed.

Returning, filling in (soil), including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm, complete all as directed .

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as directed .

100mm thick moorum / red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc 15cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as as directed. .

Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (40mm graded aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as directed.

Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6 type C- 1,(20mm graded aggregate) as in surface channels and drain etc complete all as directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc complete all as directed.

Brick work with sub-class ‘B’ bricks well burrnt old size, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 as in wall of drain complete all as directed..

15mm thick plastering on fair face of brick wall in Cement Mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as directed .

Plain Cement Concrete, 1:2:4 type B1 (20mm graded Crushed stone aggregate) as in coping on brick wall drains inclding weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating etc, complete all as directed .

One coat of road marking paint of white or golden yellow colour painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm wide complete all as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm deep, surface in area exc 400 sqm complete all as directed.

Screening road metal, chippings, etc. on the site of work, when specifically ordered , including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring ( Materials from both sides of screen measured) complete all as directed.

75mm thick, compacted thickness (Granite,trap,basalt) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as directed .

Description all as Serial item No 19 above but except materials (Note:-Material retrieved from item no 17 shall be used.)

Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen VG-30 with using binder content 4% by weight of total mix complete rolling with static power roller of the capacity 8 to 10 ton complete all as directed.

Preparing surfaces black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer @5 Kg/10 Sqm with paving bitumen (VG-30) and laying bituminous premix aphaltic semi-dense concrete 40mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG 30) by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power static road roller to a uniform smooth surface completed all as directed. Note:-work is to be carried out in narrow width or as directed.

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road path etc cutting around edge to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering, well ramming, compacted and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surface completed all as directed.

Road marking paint with hot applied thermoplastic paint 2.5 mm thick having clear and sharp edges over road surfaces including straighting portion, curve etc in any situation. The therrmoplastic material shall be homogeneously composed of aggregate pigment resin and glass reflector rising beads in equal percentage as specified. The work include for cleaning of road surface, heating the paints within temperature limits as specified by the manufacturer making proper arrangement for traffic during operation etc conforming to specification complete all as directed.
