Cutting in earth work in all heights / depths and in all kinds of soil such as kankar, moorum, shingle and decomposed or soft rock and hard rock including their intermediate classification and chiselling / wedging out rock where blasting is prohabited including saturated soil and filling in embankment etc., where necessary and disposal of all excavated un serviceable materials in all leads and lifts including through mechanical transporation, the disposal of unserviceable materials will be done in acquired width of the road or on approved dumping site.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of centring and shuttering including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts in foundations and plinth.

Coursed Ashlar masonary coursed with hard stone of approved quality in foundation and plinth in Retaining walls/ Breast walls including rakingout joints in Cement Mortar 1:6 (1Cement: 6Sand) including carriage of material within all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement:2 Sand:4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth including carriage of material within all leads and lifts.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 110mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Stone filling behind retaining wall per HP.PWD specification 1990 Volume - I and as per direction of the Engineer-in charge.

Providing and laying stone soling properly hand-packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone in under drain including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HP.PWD specification 150mm spread thickness (finished work including materials and labour) including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Providing, laying and rolling of built-up spray grout layer over prepared base consisting of a two layer composite construction of crushed coarse aggregates using motor grader for aggregates. Key stone chips spreader may be used with application of bituminous binder after each layer, and with key aggregates placed on top of the second layer to serve as a base, conforming to the line, grades and cross-section specified, the compacted layer thickness being 75 mm as per Technical Specification Clause 505.

Disposal of excavated earth by mechanical means upto 10kms on approved dumping site of M.C. Shimla or on arranged by the contractor i.e. through all mode of transportation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith transportation of the unuseful material for disposing including payment of prescribed charges of dumping to the owener of dumping site through all modes of transporation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith its levelling, fine dressing and to complete the work by mechanized means and labour (if any required) All useful materials such as stones, aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along roads side any loss of the public/ private property during the courses of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
