Duct Thermal Insulation: Supplying and fixing of following thickness duly laminated aluminium foil of mat finish closed cell nitrile rubber (Class "O") insulation on existing duct after applying suitable adhesive for nitrile rubber. The joints shall be sealed with 50 mm wide and 3 mm thick self-adhesive nitrile rubber tape insulation complete as per specifications and as required. (Acceptable make: Armaflex / Aerofoam / Aflex)

Air Supply Grill: Supplying, Fabricating & Installation of SS 304 Fabricated 20 SWG powder coated Air supply grill with aluminium volume control damper for Air Balancing having compatibility with the size of the existing oven as per norms etc. complete with fixing with the exhaust duct. (Acceptable make: System Air / Advance Aircool / Caryaire)

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of GI volume control duct damper complete with neoprene rubber gasket, nuts, bolts, screws, linkages, flanges, etc. as per specifications. (Acceptable make: System Air / Advance Aircool / Caryaire)

Supplying and fixing of fire retardant with GSS (galvanised sheet steel) flange as per BS 467 canvass connection for duct as per specifications as required. (Acceptable make: Airflow / Sphere)

Exhaust Hood: Supplying, fabricating and installation of SS 304, 18 SWG thick (minimum) box type kitchen exhaust hood with not less than 20 SWG, SS 304 baffle filters, oil tray and marine light arrangement having compatibility with the size of the existing oven as per norms etc. complete with connections with the exhaust duct (for wall mounting or island type as applicable) complete as required.

Minor Civil Work: Making Wall Punching, fixing and water proofing for duct entrance and mending good the damages during erection work etc. complete as required. (1 job means - work per Hostel)

MS Supports: Providing and fixing angle iron frames for doors, windows and ventilators of mild steel Angle sections of size 35x35x5 mm or 50 x 50 x 5 mm, joints mitred and welded by angle iron 35x35x5 mm or 50 x 50 x 5 mm as required or 35x 5 or 50 x 5 mm flat pieces to the existing T-iron frame or to the wall with dash fastener, including fixing of necessary butt hinges and screws and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge.

Scaffolding Arrangement: Making temporary scaffolding arrangement for fixing of duct and other accessories for height upto 20 metre as required including removing the same after completion of erection as required. (1 job means - scaffolding per hostel)

Supplying and laying of XLPE / PVC insulated stranded copper conductor armoured cable of 1.1 KV grade of following size on existing cable tray / surface suitably clamped with termination with copper lugs at both ends as required. Sub Head - 2 (Comprehensive Maintenance) Comprehensive maintenance including routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance of the entire ventilation system including routinely cleaning of filters, checking and maintenance of other accessories for smooth running during the defect liability period of 12 months from the date of commissioning of the system. No payment shall be done during DLP.

Comprehensive maintenance including routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance of the entire ventilation system of three hostels (locations) including routinely cleaning of filters, checking and maintenance of other accessories for smooth running during the defect liability period of 12 months from the date of commissioning of the system. Materials / spares required to be replaced or repaired shall be got done by the contractor. No payment shall be done by the Institute. Maintenance to be done as per maintenance schedule. N.B. - Replacement of filters are within the scope of contractor
