Single composite contract (Job Contract) for Housekeeping, Horticulture and Pest Control works at BEL Chennai

General scope of work: a) Office Floor Cleaning: Day to day maintenance of office floors like Sweeping, Mopping, Collection and disposal of waste, Cleaning of Doors, windows, mats, staircase, stair rails, etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer In Charge and disposal of waste in designated place. b) Cleaning of Road & Parking: Daily maintenance of RCC/Bituminus road inside factory and Guest House premises. The BEL Army road connecting the Main road to BEL Guest House to be cleaned and maintained neatly complete. As per the direction of EIC and disposal of waste in a designated place. c) Toilet Cleaning: Cleaning, up keeping of Toilets includes cleaning of floors, wall tiles, urinal partitions, mirrors, towel rails, water closets (European / Indian Type) including flushing systems, washbasin, urinals of any size including their bib cocks, stopcocks, connecting pipes etc., using scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, wipers, brushes, brooms and cleaning agents like detergents, phenyl, floor cleaning acid, washing soap etc., as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. The scope of work shall also include, removal of blockages in sewage line, manhole, storm water drain, inspection chamber, all toilets urinal lines completely covering all the areas in the entire factory premises. d) Cleaning of Terrace/Roof and Drain Lines: Cleaning of terrace and drain lines on monthly basis or whenever required as per the direction of EIC. Maintaining the same without any clogging for free flow of water, etc. Complete. NOTE: a) The materials / Consumables required for cleaning will have to be arranged by the Contractor and payment will be made for the same under the relevant items. The other non-consumable materials like brooms (soft & coconut), Mop stick, brushes, buckets 20ltr, mugs, baskets, cleaning cotton cloths, hand gloves, coconut oil, steel scrubber etc., and the required machines like scrubbers and vacuum cleaners including safety materials are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. b) The rate shall be for the complete finished work for month on Job Contract Basis. However while quoting it may be noted that the requirements indicated are only tentative and the Contractor is responsible to provide additional equipment to ensure that, the cleaning operation is carried out satisfactorily through mechanized system only. c) The rate shall be exclusive of GST.

Providing and stacking of Domestic purpose liquid soap for hand wash makes Lifeboy, Dettol, Fem, Savlon or any other reputed brands as approved by Indian Medical Association etc., to be procured from an authorised dealer in sealed containers only.

Providing and stacking of Antiseptic Dissinfectant of reputed brands like Dettol, Iteol, Savlon or any other makes approved by Indian Medical Association etc., to be procured from an authorised dealer in sealed containers only.

Providing and stacking of germicidal disinfectant phenyl of approved ISI make (undiluted) etc., to be procured from an authorised dealer in sealed containers only.

Providing and stacking of Dishwash cake of makes Vim, Sabeena or any other reputed brands as approved by the Engineer-in-charge etc., to be procured from an authorised dealer in sealed containers only.

Providing and stacking of liquid sprayer room air freshners of make odonil, cool wave, Airwik or any other reputed brands as approved by the Engineer-in-charge etc., to be procured from an authorised dealer in sealed containers only of minimum 300ml.

Providing and stacking of solid air freshners of make odonil, cool wave, Airwik or any other reputed brands as approved by the Engineer-in-charge etc., to be procured from an authorised dealer in sealed packing only of 75g

Providing and stacking of urinal cakes of make Odonil / Sani Fresh / Homocol of minimum 80gms or any other reputed brands as approved by the Engineer-in-charge etc., to be procured from an authorised dealer in sealed containers only. (per packet 6-8 nos - 200 Gram)
