REPAIR / MAINT OF ROAD BEHIND AIRMEN MESS AND ADJACENT POCKET AND ALLIED WORKS IN VARIOUS RESIDENTIAL POCKETS AT AF STN HASIMARA UNDER GE (AF) HASIMARA.

Note 1:- (Applicable for all parts/items) : The biidders/contractors are advised to read tender documents & all corrigendum/amendments and general condition of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed for berm dressing.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400 Sqm, exceeding 50mm and not exc 100mm deep, complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5kgs/10 sqm, putting in pre-mixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) complete all as specified and directed.

Laying and comapacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) wet mix macadam (WMM) in two layers of 75mm each grarding as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, materials comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggreegate and granular materials premixed with water to a dense mass, spreding with paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static wight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerences to be as per table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013.

Ditto as above item no. 4.00 but except material. Note:- WBM shall be done from retrieved material from Item No. 02.00

M&L preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying evenly a priming/tack coat bituminous primer with paving bitumen (RS-1) at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen (RS-1) @ of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade 30 (VG 30), rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Semi-dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as per design mix. Contractor shall quote his unit rate considering the bitumen contents as 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs. 50.00 per KG of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side.

M&L for 2.50 mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, zebra cross etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5 Kg/Sqm and applying glass grit (BS 6088) @ 300 gram/Sqm over painting surfaces while the painting surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and directed. (Make:- STP/ASIAN PAINTS/BERGER or any equivalent make as approved by GE) Note:- Application shall be carried out through mechanical applicances by the approved applicator of the manufacturer of paint

S&F in repairs bi-directional abrasion resistant raised pavement markers/Cats eye made out of micro prismatic tough polycarbonate lens of approved colour, engineered thermoplastic body and fixed on the road with epoxy/approved adhesive including making good the disturb portion of the road complete all as specified and directed. (Make:-STP/3M/Auto or any equivalent make as approved by GE)

S&F in repair Cat Eyes (Futurevista make or equivalent) made of non breakable Polycarbonate with electonically welded primatic retro reflective lens on centre for maximum retroreflection in wet and dry conditions, with dust proof body (i.e. no dust accumulation on lens) and space built for finger grip. Bitumin adhesive B1-69 shall be used for fixing the Cat Eyes complete all as specified and as directed

M&L continuous burnt clay brick of sub class B edging, with width equal to the depth of the brick, laid dry, on end vertically. Note:- The rate include for embedding bricks in the ground to depths indicate and tamping ground around bricks and also for removing any surplus spoil etc.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (using 4% binder content) laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness less than 75mm) using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30, completed all as specified and as directed.
