Disconnecting the 3 phase electric motor from the fire fighting set, taking down from the foundation , dismantling the motor, cutting out old burnt out windings, cleaning the slots of the stator and rewinding 7 HP to 15 HP 3 phase electric motor with super enameled copper conductor of suitable gauge including all insulating materials , sleeves , cotton tapes etc and incl varnishing ,drying etc and refitting the motor at original position , making all electrical connections. Dismantalling the pump, check the alignment, impelers and bearing etc. Overhauling the pump by greasing, oiling complete. Testing for proper working complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Copper winding wire and bearing of suitable size eyc. shall be measured and paid separately under respctive Items.

Supply only super enamelled copper winding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only PVC insulated water proof copper conductor winding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacing of ball bearing No 6206/6208/6306/6307 complete all as spcified and directed.

Supply and replacing of ball bearing No 6308/6309/6310 complete all as spcified and directed.

Material and labour for repair to Submersible pump set motor of capacity 7.5 to 10 HP by dismantling of submersible motor 3 phase, 440 Volts cutting and removing the burnt winding wire, cleaning of slots and rewinding with super quality PVC insulated water proof copper conductor winding wire and machining as per original dia complete and replacement of thrust plate, thrust bearing, rotor straightenting, sealing kit, balancing of rotor.and reassembling complete all as specified and as directed (Thrust plate, thrust bearing, rotor straightenting, sealing kit, balancing of rotor and reassembling shall be unit rate deemed to include cost of the same by the contractor). Note:- PVC insulated water proof copper conductor Winding shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable submersible cable 3 core 1100 Volt flat stranded copper conductor of size 10 Sqmm, , complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour cleaning of RCC under ground water sump of capacity 100000 Ltrs in technical area by removal of sludge, scrapping silt mud and foreign material etc with wire brushes on the walls and floor of tank and washing and flushing the surfaces with bleaching powder and taking out the same manually from the compartments and removing the same to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed by Engineer -In - Charge and applying two coats of food grade paint (Internally ) to the tank, writing date of cleaning with white paint on black patch 45cm X45cm on external surface of tank in technical area complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The cleaning of RCC under ground water tank will be carried out in every six months.

Material and labour Stripping out of submersible pump set 7.5 to 15 HP capacity and repairing the same by supply and replacing the following spare parts complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fixing for water flow meter of 15 mm size brass with suitable fixing material at both ends e.g union/elbow/tee etc incl testing of meter as approved of UT Chandigarh . Note :-Old water meter shall be deposited in MES store as the property of deptt.

Dismantling existing cement mortar bedding( holding block of motor ) and precast concrete articles complete and remove the wastage material 50 mtr away from site complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4), type B-1, using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in , bed block benching, kerbs, mud stop, square or chamferred on edges including necessary form work/moulds complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and instalation in replacement monoblock type water pumping set and discharge size 25mm and discharge pressure of 1600 to 600 LPH at 6/30 Mtr head self priming type 0.5HP capacity single phase 220 volts including disconnecing and re-connect electric and water connection complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in replacement of existing mild steel sheet 3mm thick of size 0.61x0.46x.47mtr with angle iron with suitable nuts and bolts to fix on platform of monoblock pump duly painted with two coats of black bitumnous paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing for cast iron sluice valve flanged and drilled with stainless steel spindle, iron wheel ISI marked with nuts, bolts & washers and gasket heavy duty PN 1.6 of following sizes tested with high pressure conforming to IS - 14846,of 100 mm dia.

Supply and fixing in replacement of gun metal gate valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe of size 15 mm dia, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in replacement of hose box made out of 18 gauge MS sheet 800mm x 600mm x 250mm with doubble door with 4mm thick glass and door frame made of 16 gauge MS sheet painted fire red out side and brilliant white inside yard complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement in fire hydrant landing valve type A (single head outlet) gunmetal of size 80 mm dia with 63 mm dia female outlet and 80 mm inlet with rubber blank cap and chain as per IS 5290-1983, suitable for brigade hose of 63 mm with couplings conforming to IS 903 complete all as specified and directed .

Material and labour for preparation of old painted surfaces of any discription, one coat of priming with red oxide zinc chrome lead & two coat of sythic enamel paint Post office Red colour on steel/iron surface complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of wall mounting swinging type First aid fire hose reel with drum,hanging bracket,30 mtr long and 20mm dia high pressure hose reel as per IS 444 with gunmetal shut off nozzle having 5mm dia orifice.The hose reel shall be conforming to IS 884-1985 complete all as specified and directed

Supply and properly hanged sythic enamel red post office painted fire bucket duly filled with suitable fire sand and marked FIRE with black / white paint in replacement of old fire bucket complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing concrete of any description ie floor/tiles and in any position and remove the wastage material 50 mtr away from site complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 M wide and not exceeding 1.5 M in depth and getting out in soft/loose or any other type of soil for taking up or laying of cable complete all as specified and directed.
