M&L for 10 mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4) to the bottom & sides of sunken floor (using water proofing compound) surface finished even & smooth using extra cement and application of water proofing treatment to sunken portion using APP modified membrane to the bottom & side of sunken floor to be executed through approved applicator of the membrane manufacturer with following specification etc complete all as specified and directed :- (a) Cleaning existing surface properly. (b) Applying oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.40 liter/Sqm manufactured by the same agency as that of APP membrane with a density 0.87-0.89 Kg per liter at 25 degree centigrade on prepared surface. (ii) Non woven polyester weight not less than 160 gsm/Sqm. (iii) Softening point of membrane not less than 150 degree Celsius.

(iv) Joint tensile strength-longitudinal not less than 650/Sqcm and transverse not less than 450/sqcm at 230 degree Celsius. (v) Tear strength - longitudinal not less than 300 N & transverse not less than 250N. (vi) Elongation of reinforcement not less than 30%. (vii) Impermeability under water pressure not less than 3 Kg/Sqcm. (d) APP membrane shall be laid using butane torch by Torch application with minimum 10cm side overlap and 15cm end lap. (e) Apply on APP membrane a coat of hot blown bitumen grade 85/25 conforming to IS 702 @ 0.70 Kg per Sqm. (Note:- WPC shall be measured & paid separately)
