PART-I OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF E/M INSTALLATIONS

Operation & maintenance of Electric driven pump sets round the clock including Sunday and holidays in Three shifts per day of 08 hours each ( Ist shift from 0600 to 1400 hours,IInd shift from 1400 to 2200 hours and IIIrd shift from 2200 to 0600 hours) by deploying Experienced & qualified skilled One Pump operator in each shift at Nodal Point No 1 pump house complete including operation of valves for supply of water & periodical maintenance of Pump Sets such as gland packing, lubricants, cleaning properly to keep dust free all the time inclusive of daily, weekly , monthly and quarterly maintenance complete all as specified and as directed for the following pump sets :- (i) Pump sets of capacity 200 HP, 3,00,000 GPH at 30 Mtrs head -03 Nos (ii) Pump sets of capacity 200 HP, 1,70,000 LPM at 47 Mtrs head -02 Nos (iii) Pump sets of capacity 30 HP,60 LPS at 25 Mtrs head -02 Nos (iv) Submersible pump sets 7.5 HP including LT control electric Panel-02 Nos. In any case NP-I installation will not be unmanned.If any happening will happen, the contractor will be responsible for that lapse.The contractor quoted rates shall deemed to includes this aspect in the item. NOTE:- Quoted rate shall include the aspect mentioned in notes at srl no. 4 to 7

Rates required to be quoted for executing the work as describrd in Srl.No. 2 here-in-before:-

Worker's wage per person as per existing rules

Employees Provident Fund as mentioned in the tender documents

Employees State Insurance Contribution as mentioned in the tender documents

Contribution of Bonus as mentioned in the tender documents

Over head & Profit on srl No 3.01 to 3.04

LWC as mentioned in the tender documents

Notes for Srl No. 2 :- The quoted rate against EPF, ESIC and Bonus shall be considered for payment on actual basis. Contribution towards EPF, ESIC and Bonus is payable only after submission of valid and authentic document in support of having paid the requisite amount of bonus to the workmen, ie proof of payment

Notes for Srl No. 2:- The rates quoted by the contractor shall also deemed to be included for the following :- (i) Disinfection/ treatment of water by using chemicals as issued by department under Sch 'B' ,free for use, including operation and maintenance /repair/cleaning of Chlorine dozing pump and bleaching dozer including minor spares ie bleaching dozer, rubber bladder, PVC pipe heavy duty, nuts, bolts and washers etc all as directed. (ii) Operating connected accessories such as all type of sluice valve & connecting accessories. (iii) If any loss or damage takes place to the equipment, machinery, tools, stores, fitting and fixtures etc or any other equipment installed in the pump house premises during the contract period, the same shall be made good/borne by the contractor.

(iv) Mixing of Bleaching powder/Calcium based solid granular chemicals/ disinfectant Granules sodium dichloro Iso-Cyanurate chemicals/sodium Hypochloride including transportation of the same from MES store yard to installation is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate of the items. (v) Bleaching powder/Calcium based solid granular chemicals/ disinfectant Granules sodium dichloro Iso-Cyanurate chemicals/ sodium Hypochloride shall be issued under sch 'B' free for mixing/pouring only and transportation of the same from MES store to installations shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of the items. (vi) (a) The contractor shall keep the record of water testing and the same shall be signed by the contractor, Engineer -in- charge and medical representative. (b) Reading of all the water meter installed in the premises of installations shall be carried out twice a day & properly recorded in a seperate register as directed.

(vii) The contractor will submit the complete details of the tradesmen along with their qualification certificate before commencement of work. (viii) The contractor shall be responsible for watch and guard of installations round the clock 24 hours. Any loss or damage to the plant, equipment installed and Govt. property in the Pump house premises shall be made good/borne by the contractor. (ix) General cleanliness and upkeeping the existing pump house including vegetation within the primises of pump houses/sumps area upto 5 Mtrs allround ,within the boundary walls by deploying manpower with T&P if required , at any time all as directed. (x) If any new equipment/machinary installed during currency of the contract , the contractor shall run/operate the newly installed equipment without any extra cost. (xi) Testing of earthing of machinary/equipment shall be carried out as directed.

PART-II REPAIR OF VARIOUS PUMP HOUSES UNDER AGE (U) W/S-III

M & L for removing old paint by paint removers or burning off by blow lamps and cleaning with scrapers, any number of coats, any width or girth from existing suction/delivery pipe line including headers of any size complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for painting to existing surfaces by using spray Gun with one coat red oxide and two coats of synthetic enamel paint on existing suction/ delivery pipe lines including Headers of any size with Black/ Blue/ Red colour as per site requirement Complete all as specified and as directed By Engg-in-Charge. Make:- Burger/ Asian/ Nerolac of First quality.

M & L for removing old paint by paint removers or burning off by blow lamps and cleaning with scrapers, any number of coats, any width or girth from existing Centrifugal and Pump of cap 15 to 75 HP including headers of any size complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for painting to existing surfaces of Centrifugal motor and Pump of cap 15 to 75 HP by using spray Gun with one coat red oxide and two coats of synthetic enamel paint as per colour code as mentioned below Complete all as specified and as directed By Engg-in-Charge. (i) Motor colour- Dark Gray (ii) Pump colour- Blue (iii) Coupling- Orange Make:- Burger/ Asian/ Nerolac of First quality.

Material and labour for painting to existing surface of NRV, Sluice Valve, Strainer Valve of capacity 80 mm to 150 mm by using spray Gun with one coat red oxide and two coats of synthetic enamel paint as per colour code as mentioned below Complete all as specified and as directed By Engg-in-Charge. (i) Sluice Valve colour- Black (ii) NRV colour- Orange Make:- Burger/ Asian/ Nerolac of First quality.

Testing of drinking water collected from local source (Sump/bore wells /shallow wells) in the area of AGE(U) W/S No.III and submission of detailed test report to the office of Engineer-in-Charge. (i) Carrying out minimum essential testing of water as per IS 10500-2012 mandatory for chemical colour, odour, taste, turbidity, PH value, TDS total hardness, iron, chloride, fluoride and residual free chlorine and Bacteriological total coliform organisms per 100 ml (MPN) and E Coli in 100 ml) with specific recommendation regarding suitability of water for drinking purposes. (ii) Collection of water from different sources of water ie. Sump, bore wells & shallow well in a sterilized bottle and testing in NABL Approved laboratory as mentioned in specification Note :- Rate Quoted shall also deemed to be included for the followings:- (i) Cost of sterilized bottle as required. (ii) To and fro transportation charges for collection of samples from source (sump, bore & shallow wells)

Supply and fixing Rigid non- metallic PVC conduit,medium grade, ISI marked, 2 mm thick, 25 mm bore with & including all fittiing such as tees,bends, elbows, reducers, bell mouth tube ends, & all other acccessories such as couples, bolts, nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Plaza/Anchor/Finolex

Supply and fixing 12 core taflon coated control cable, copper conductor, multistranded duly laid in protection pipe 20 mm bore, non metallic PVC rigid conduit after taking down/out cable as existing at site complete all as specified and as directed. Make:- Taflon or equivalent as approved.

Supplying and fixing in replacement including dismantling existing Digital liquid water level monitor/controller with inovate PIEZO-RESISTIVE linear sensor, non ambiguous display 3 x 1/2 digit (1999 count max) unit option any two of cm,ltrs,percent(%) resolution 0.1 for % and One cm upto 20 mtrs deep tank DATUM level adjustable, power 10-14 VDC ( 5 watts),temp 0.55 degree celcius, relay No 230 VAC, 6 Amp, sensor to tripod to make it fully serviceable/functional by renewal of defective parts, for semi under ground sump after taking down/out as existing at site complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Finitrac/ Sinetrac/ SECO or equivalent as approved.

Notes for srl No. 1 to 18 :- (i) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of GST at applicable rates against items of O&M as well as items of repairs/comprehensive maintenance. (ii) In case of tie, action will be taken as mentioned in Sch 'A' Notes Para 31.1
