M & L for Dismantling carefully the delivery pipe line of submersible pump set from water mains, Lifting / taking out the GI column pipes upto 50 mm dia/ Submersible cable/ defective Submersible pump set from bore well transporting to workshop opening the pump set including repair/replacement of worn out parts, oiling/greasing, lubricating the parts and reassembling, shifting back to bore well and lowering of repaired submersible pump set with GI column pipe 50 mm dia / submersible cable etc, complete in the bore well at various sites under GE (AF) SDI & ASTE, complete upto 200mtrs deep all as specified and directed.

Repairs & Servicing of defective submersible pump of capacity 5 HP to 15 HP by dismantling the pump & removing unserviceable parts , assemble the pump properly after replacements of unserviceable parts. Note:- (a) The rates are inclusive of transporting the pump from bore well site to civil work shop for repair & back to site. (b) The rate are inclusive of turning / finishing work for fixing of parts properly. (c) The rates are inclusive of testing of pump at borewell installation for satisfactory functioning /running. (d) The replacement of unserviceable parts will be paid & measured separately under relevant item of schedule.

Rewinding of defective submersible motor by taking out burnt copper winding, cleaning the casing & slots with wire brush & washing with pressure water & shall be dried, rewinding the motor with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge and weight including replacement of all insulation material, "O" rings and other petty items required for making motor functional and checking the winding leak proof & taking out the electric connection with suitable size of submersible cable up to 03 mtrs for motors upto 7.5 HP capacity Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Make : Havells/Finolex/Polycab.

Taking out the unserviceble submersible cable, Supply & Fix Flat 3 core PVC insulated submersible cable of size 4.0 sqmm, multistranded copper conductor, confirming to IS:694, flexible 1100 volts suitable for submersible pumpset complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells/Finolex/Polycab.

Taking out the unserviceble submersible cable, Supply & Fix Flat 3 core PVC insulated submersible cable of size 6.0 sqmm, multistranded copper conductor, confirming to IS:694, flexible 1100 volts suitable for submersible pumpset complete all as specified and directed. M & L for development of borewell by means of slushing/flushing of accumulated soil from borewell of 150 to 250mm dia & depth up to 300 mtrs by using compressed air/ special tools/ accessories and after with 25% extra capacity pump and pumping out the muddy water complete all as specified and directed. Note: The quoted rates for the above item shall be inclusive of hiring the Air compressor with fuel /special tools and all accessories also arrangement of 25% higher capacity pump of the existing including transportation of the same & Labour charges for Specially trained man power for the work of disiliting of bore well.

Taking out the water sample from various locations as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge and carried out the biological & chemical testing for potablity of water from Government of Karnataka Department of mines & Geology state ground water cell Bangalore for testing and obtaining analysed report consisting of :- (a) Calcium(Ca), (b) Magnesium(Mg), Sodium(Na), Potassium(K), Total Iron(Fe), pH Value,Total Hardness(as CaCO3), Sulphate(as SO4),Nitrate(as NO3) complete. Note : Empty Bottles for collecting the water sample shall be arranged by the contractor all as per specified quantity by the Department.

S & F in replacement of indicator lamp assembly LED type with red /green/blue including making incoming and outgoing connections complete all as specified and directed. Make : AE/ L& T/ Slazer.

Preparation of old steel surface of any description over 10cm in width or girth applying one coat of red oxide and one coat synthetic enamel paint complete.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for making good the disturbed surfaces during cutting existing road/path/ hard standing for laying of cable to match the existing complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanized iron or steel plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.0 mm buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6mm dia as earthing lead by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe 15 mm bore (light grade) connected to machinery/ equipment all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR-2009 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering funnel wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, reinforced with 6 mm dia MS round bars @ 15 cm c/c both way for cover and MS frame etc., complete all as specified. NOTE: (i) The unit rate includes earth wire and protection pipe up to (maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate) earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed at least 0.5 metre away from each earth chamber.

M & L for Yield test/checking the water level in the borewell by means of inserting water proof camera designed for the purpose complete with all equipment and recording the details, providing soft copy of the same alongwith proper test sheet at various location under GE (AF) SDI & ASTE as directed by EIC.
