Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The material obtained from demolition shall be disposal outside MD land and the unit rate is deemed to be included.

M&L Two coats of cement slurry in CM(1:2) proportion on complete horizontal and vertical area of sunken floor over 15mm thick base plaster in CM (1:4) over sunken portion/roof etc mixed with WPC complete all as specified and as directed. Note: WPC will be measured separately as Supply only.

M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damage portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L Repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damage soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damaged portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and finished the surfaces matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work as directed and as specified.

Note for item No 08 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case leakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. Providing and injecting chemical for post constructional Anti TermiteTreatment at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litre/hole by drilling 6mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150mm centre to centre and sealing the same all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs bottom rail 200 mm wide of second class hard wood 35 mm thick including making of grooves and fixing new bottom rail using fevicol and wooden pinning and treated with two coats of synthetic enamel painting over one coat of pink primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down of aluminum/Glass doors carefully and re-fixing in same opening including necessary repairing/cleaning/greasing etc and make the same fully functional all as specified and directed.

M&L Checking of joinery (wooden/steel) iron/ aluminium mongery, pelmet box, door springs etc requiring carpentry work and carrying out minor repairs such as tightening of screws/ nails, fixing glass panes, minor adjustment of joinery, door etc. including petty repairs material like screws/ nails, plug etc to make it functional complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- In case any replacement of new handles, Butt hinges, cupboard knobs, floor door stopper and pelmet box shall be measured and paid as supply only seperately. However, the unit rate is deemed to be included for labour element.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately. (b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for removal of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

Note : Any major items required to be repaired/replaced will be measured and paid under relevant items as supply only.Cost of labour for replacement will be deemed to include in the unit quoted rate.

Note for item No 204 :- (a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced to Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work.

(c) Record of complaints/complaint slip showing qtr No, bldgs No, nature of job supported with users signature shall be prepared as per format directed by Engr-in-charge & will be deposited to concerned JE E/M within 24 hrs.

(d) All sort of petty T&P items such as PVC insulation tape, ladder, galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost to dept.

(j) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(k) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent/ routine nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(l) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

(c) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be caliberated from authorised company/ lab. (d) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.
