Taking down of old unserviceable earthing any type complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate 600 x 600 x 6 mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level connected to and including GI wire of size 4 mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, washers etc made of and connected to test point and earth dolly as all shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I 2009 and specified or indicated including excavation and earth work in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 in chamber, pre cast RCC slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM jali (weight not less than 4.0 kg/Sqm) with cast iron frame, funnel, with wire mesh, 20mm bore light grade GI watering pipe, lugs, 15mm bore light grade GI protection pipe, test point etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Item includes the cost of 7.5 m GI pipe for protection of earth lead. Any additional length shall be adjusted through deviation order. (ii) Item includes the cost of 7.5 m GI earth lead. Any additional in length shall be adjusted through deviation order ( For Main DBs ). (iii) Item includes Charcoal dust and common salt as per relevant specifications contained in SSR Part-I 2009.

Material & labour for Chemical earthing complete with copper plate electrode 900mm x 600mm x5mm burried directly in ground vetically to a depth not less than 4.70 mtr below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 3.60 mtrs below ground level ) connected to copper strip 32 mm x 6 mm as main earthing lead by means of tinned copper/ brass bolts nuts checknuts, and washers besides brazing ( copper strip shall be 0.5 M overlaped with copper plate by brazing) at all joints all as directed and connected to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil earth,GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore for protection of copper strip from earth electrode to and including the earth test point of galvanised Iron/steel , adequate quality of charcoal dust, common salt and magnesium sulphate in alternate layers of 100 mm thick x 6 layers all around the plate , and RCC cover of size 54x54x50 mm (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with mild steel handle 12 mm dia, PGI funnel with wire mesh, 20 mm dia GI pipe light grade for watering all as shown in drawing Note - 1. Cost of copper strip and GI protection pipe up to a distance 7.5 M shall be included in quated rate of above Items. 2. On testing,after completion of job ,if desired earth resistence is not found i.e. below 1.00 Ohms ,the earthing shall be redone on no extra cost to govt.

M&L for replacement of air termination single pointed copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long with accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M& L for replacement of test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal, head screw with accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M&L for replacement of aluminium Strip 25x3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc, for roof conductors and down conductors above ground with accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M&L for replacement of Galvanised iron Strip 32x6mm buried in ground with accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M&L for replacement of Copper strip 20x3mm buried in ground complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

M&L for replacement of GI pipe 40 mm dia light grade for cable protection including all fittings laid in trenches or fixed on pole all as specified and directed.
