NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG AND WATER PROOFING ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor before and during execution of the work :- (i) All the painting works and water proofing treatment to roof shall be got executed through original material manufacturing company or their authorised applicators as approved by GE and contractor should submit MOU with the manufacturing company or their authorised applicator before execution of work. (ii) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (iii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -in-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iv) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor glasses and joinery.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced of any description and in any position, not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete M-15 grade (nominal mix) using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates for filleting, benching, slightly rounding or chamfering on edges, filling undulations / depressions in roof surface, providing concrete platform for tanks wherever required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down / removing existing water proofing treatment from RCC roof slab including removal of plaster bed below felt / membrane and disposal off the same from the premises complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for 10 mm thick screeding / rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on concrete roof surface, mixing liquid water proofing compound as per manufactureres instructions surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as directed. Note: Liquid Water Proofing Compound shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this BOQ.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound hydroseal-W+ or eqivalent (for plaster hardening, to contol efflorescence & fungal growth) as approved by GE.

M & L for applying APP (Atactic Poly Propylene) bitumen membrane 3mm thick APP modified weight not less than 3.60 Kg/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyester fibre of weight 160 gms/sqm as center core and without multiple layers of polyethylene, finished on top and bottom with 7 micron thick flammable polyethylene, applied by thermo fusion using LPG torch on the bottom portion of the membrane, after applying a coat of bituminous primer 0.40Kg/Sqm over roof (An overlap of 100mm & 150mm shall be provided on sides and ends respectively) complete all as per manufacturers instructions. Finally, painting with a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @100gms / Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting existing tanks exc 250 & not exc 500, setting asides (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, waterproofing etc and hoisting, reconnecting and re-fixing in position after executing water proofing treatment to roof slabs.

Cleaning the surface with wire brush, detecting sources of leakages and removing/taking down unsound treatment/surface and M&L for carrying out non-destructive waterproofing treatment to sunken portion of slab, floor and walls of bath, WC, WHB and floor traps (combined unit) by using construction chemical method as hydrophobic PU grouting, etc, with first course of injection MDI based PU foam and second course of injection PU plain all as per manufacturers instruction, etc, complete and as directed. The PU foam shall have 100% solids and solvent free, and shall expand 30-40 times its volume at liquid stage in presence of water, the PU plain injection shall have minimum 100 CPS viscosity and shore hardness minimum 50. Make: PIDILITE or equivalent approved make approved by GE.

M&L making hole for fixing the metallic packer for hydrophobic PU foam and Sealer as per manufacturers specification. The PU foam shall have 100% solids and solvent free, and shall expand 30-40 times its volume at liquid stage in presence of water, the PU plain injection shall have minimum 100 CPS viscosity and shore hardness minimum 50complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. . Make: PIDILITE or equivalent approved make approved by GE.

M&L for the tile joint chemical cleaning and re-grouting carefully by washing the existing tille with heavy duty tile cleaner preferbly of M/S Pidilite or equivalent cleaner, again washing with fresh jet water, scratching the joints and filling the same with (white/matching colour) epoxy tile grout of M/s Pidilite, ROFF RTM epoxy or equivalent, curing , cleaning the surface etc,complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for water proofing treatment of External walls, chhajjas DFT: 110 microns by applying two coats of elestromeric coating Raincoat, material covering capabity 3 Sqm per litre in 2 Coats without dilution & 1 coat of efflorescent resistant primer 10sqm/litre/coat after cleaning the surface throughly and sealing all cracks with acrylic sealing compound as per the manufacturers specifications and directions of Engr-in-Charge Make :- Raincoat shall be of PlDlLlTE or equivalent. The product shall have following properties: Elongation > 100% as per ASTM D 412, Tensile strength : 2.5 Mpa as per ASTM D 412, Water Resistance conforming to SS 500, Crack bridging ability conforming to Class A4 as per EN 1062 Part 7, Positive hydrostatic pressure > 7 bar as per DIN 1048, Anti-carbonation property complying EN 1062 Part 6, RCPT conforming to ASTM C 1202.

M&L for providing water proofing plaster at the junction of wall and slab at chajjas, lintels etc, of average thickness 20mm in CM 1:3 mixing with liquid water proofing compound all as per manufactureres instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- Liquid WPC shall be measured & paid seprately under relevant item of this BOQ.

Taking down cement plaster in any description incl racking out joints hacking for key and scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L rendering 15 mm thick (10mm + 5mm) plaster on fair face of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 and surface finished even and fair by mixing liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions complete. Note :- Liquid WPC shall be measured & paid seprately under relevant item of this BOQ.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC M-10 grade (nominal mix) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection/path finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete.

Taking up or down steel tubing of 15 mm bore and connections, including cleaning for re-fixing or removal to store

Re-fixing 15mm bore old steel water tubing and connections in new or old position of walls, ceiling, floors etc with new fittings complete. Note: Serviceable pipes obtained shall be re-used

M&L Coloured Glazed ceramic tiles 450 x 300 x 7mm thick, on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or Coloured cement to match with colour of tile laid over and including 10mm thick rendering as in backing coat in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L non-skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tiles exc 0.06 sqm but not exc 0.11 sqm in floor etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with colour of tiles laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 25 mm thick cement concrete M-15 grade (nominal mix) using 12.50mm graded stone aggregate as in floors complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L coloured joint free Non Skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of the tiles laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repairs water closet (Squat Pattern) complete incl provn of lime concrete bedding Orissa pattern size 580 x 440mm white integral foot rests (excluding flush pipe or flushing cisterns) including connection to trap and flushing pipe anti syphonage pipe etc and making good to floor complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs Vitreous China wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern), white (excluding fixing bolts, flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connection to trap and flushing pipe anti syphonage pipe etc and making good to floor complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in repairs stop valves cast copper alloy screwed down high pressure withcrutch or butterfly handle screwed both ends for iron pipe 15 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs grating square or circular 125mm dia of PTMT (minimum weight 100 gms, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down drain pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, T, bends,etc., including cleaning for refixing (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fitting and accessories)
