Notes for Item Nos 1 to 4:- (a) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months. (b) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator and design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-Charge. In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 100/- per day per operator shall be recovered (c) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs) a penalty of Rs 3000/- shall be recovered and levied. (d)The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly.

(e) Each shift duration shall be 08 hours & duty timing will be decided by Engineer-in-Charge. (f) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff,the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day's Manning & operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch'A' quoted rates or Rs.1000 per person per shift whichever is higher. (g)The operator shall ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the lift on daily basis. (h) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operator through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts and Credit to their bank account. The wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more.

(j) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevaling scales as laid down by Ministry of labour for all operator/helper (as applicable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge for verification & record. The quoted rates shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, the same shall be recovered from his dues as per the prevailing scale plus 15 percent. (k) The contractor shall provide board at proper location near each installations duly writing the name of operators and Mobile Numbers shiftwise. (l) Contractor shall display the lift safety precautions as per Appendix ‘C’ enclosed as serial page Nos.148 & 149 are enclosed herewith and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (m) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, cess, levies etc as applicable including GST (n) The prevailing rate,wage,contribution etc shall be as applicable as on the bid submission end date.

(o) In view of COVID-19 alerts various restrictive instructions issued concerned authorities from time to time. Hence additional precautions essential for the work shall be taken by the contractor by way of provisioning of masks, hand sanitizers, gloves etc to workmen and all local instructions issued by the Concerned Authorities and Station Authorities shall be complied with all relevant safety precautions covered under Model Rules for the protection of health and sanitary arrangement for workmen (Annexure ‘C’) of IAFW-2249) shall be strictly followed. Nothing extra is admissible on this account (p) The contractor shall also deploy additional man power as relief against weekly off,leave,holidays etc all as per existing Labour Act and shall substitute the operator accordingly for which no extra payment admissible. The unit rate quoted against items in Schedule ‘A’/BOQ shall be inclusive of this provision also.

Inspector of lift for worthiness certificate during the period of contract including load testing as per lift ACT and submitting the worthiness certificate to Engineer-in-Charge all as specified and as directed Location : HQKNA-02 Nos,NSRY -02Nos,PATANJALI - 04 Nos, NOM - 01 Nos Total Lifts - 09 Nos Note:- All lifts shall be inspected once in six months period by the competent person recognized under Department of Factories, Health & Safety, and copy of Certificate should be displayed on each lift.

DSS-01 & 08 AT NAVAL BASE KARWAR

Manning and Operation of Distribution Sub Station (DSS - 1) at KNOFRA Little Binaga, the main load centre at officer's residential area for three shifts of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and holidays including routine preventive maintenance / checks, attending emergency breakdowns at Distribution Sub Stations DSS 1, DSS 1A and connected feeder pillars all as directed

Manning and Operation of Distribution Sub Station (DSS - 8), the main load centre at sailor's residential area for three shifts of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and holidays including routine preventive maintenance / checks, attending emergency breakdowns at Distribution Sub Stations DSS 8, DSS 9, DSS-10 & DSS-11 connected feeder pillars all as specified and as directed

Notes for Item Nos10 to 11:- (a) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes ,cess, levies etc as applicable including GST (b) The prevailing rate,wage,contribution etc shall be as applicable as on the bid submission end date. (c) Shift timings:1st shift from 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs,2nd shift from 1400 to 2200 hrs and 3rd shift from 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs respectively (d) Contractor has to employ minimum one No skilled electrician /operator per shift of 8 hour each,(Total 06 shifts per day) having minimum ITI qualification in Electrician trade from Govt recognized institute with adequate knowledge with minimum 2 years experience in Maintenance & Operation of HT & LT electrical installation. The operator must be competent to carry out the routine maintenance and attending breakdowns all as directed (i) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operator through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts and Credit to their bank account. The wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more.

(ii) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) to the connected authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to GE for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (e) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for cost of labour for daily routine maintenance as mentioned in particular specifications for trouble free functioning of installations. (f) The operator employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor maintenance & unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for cost of stationery, ink cartridge for printer, cotton waste ,petroleum jelly for battery terminals etc. (g) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Cost of stationery is deemed to include in the unit rate quoted against Item No 5.00 & 6.00 of Sch 'A'. (j) The contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis.

(k) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department. (l) Cost of routine maintenance spares will be measured and paid separately under respective item here in after. However cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted above. (m) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earth pits, cutting & removing of vegetation and upkeep of the surrounding area, all around the bldg up to 6m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (n) In the case of absence of operator, penalty will be charged as doubled as quoted rate or Rs 1000/-per shift whichever is higher besides any loss/damages occurring during the period which will have to be made good by the contractor

(o) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. Note : Old unserviceable exhaust fan shall be deposited in MES store by the contractor.

DSS-17 AT AMDALLI

Manning and Operation of Main Receiving Distribution Sub Station (33KV/11KV) (DSS-17), 11 KV/433 Volt HT supply installation at site B, Amdalli town ship Karwar for three shifts of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and Holidays including minor daily maintenance/checks and also attending breakdown at DSS-17A & DSS-17B, all as specified and as directed . The installation comprises of following equipments :- (a) 33 KV, indoor type HT VCB - 1 No (b) Indoor type Power transformer 2 MVA, 33 KV/11KV - 1 Nos. (c) Main LT Panel board 415 V with ACBs & main switches MCCBs etc (d) Battery bank for auxillary supply. (e) 55 Nos of batteries to maintain 110 V battery bank with charging panel.

Notes:- (a) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes ,cess, levies etc as applicable including GST (b) The prevailing rate,wage,contribution etc shall be as applicable as on the bid submission end date. (c) Contractor has to employ minimum following staff for Manning and operation of the DSS -17 in all 3 shifts 8 hours each. (i) One skilled electrician/operator per shift (3 shifts per day) having minimum ITI qualification in Electrician trade from Govt recognised institute with adequate knowledge for HT & LT electrical installation. The operator must be competent to carryout the routine preventive maintenance of Main distribution sub station all as directed. (ii) One No semi skilled supervisory minimum 10th class pass per shift (03 shift per day). (d) Cost of spares if any to be replaced will be measured & paid separately under respective item here in below. However cost of labour is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted in this item

(e) Each shift duration shall be 8 hours and duty timings will be decided by Engineer-in-Charge. The following tasks will be performed: (a) Strip opening of the transformer and removing the transformer top cover for checking/rectified the faults of the transformer. (b) Replacement of defective HT/LT bushes, brass spindles etc. (c) Refixing the transformer top cover with nuts, bolts and washers. (d) Testing of transformer. Notes: (i) Transformer oil (if required) for topping shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of Sch A/BOQ. (ii) Cost of hiring T&P, megger or any other instrument required at site deemed to be included in the cost of repair

All as per item No 56 here in before but 11 KV Vaccum Circuit Breaker (VCB) all as specified and as directed Note for item No 56 & 57: (a) Servicing of breaker to be carried out by qualified engineer. The servicing of breaker will include:- (i) Inspection & cleaning the mechanism house. (ii) Operation of door interlock, interlocking plate & shutter operation inside of panel. (iii) Check the mechanical ON-OFF function, electrical & mechanical operation & damage parts of VCB. (iv) Re-greasing & oiling of breaker mechanism, adjustment of various mechanism setting as required, checking contact tightness, contact erosion pins, manually vacuum check of VCB.

(v) Rack in-rack out operation in test & service position of VCB trolly. (vi) Megger test( IR value-1 KV/2.5 KV) E-RYB, RY-YB-BR, R'R.Y'Y.B'B. (vii) CRM test (contact resistence) of vaccum interrupter R,Y,B in on condition out side of panel. (viii) Time test of contact pole by test kit(in mili second) (ix) Function of closing coil, Trip coil, spring charge motor, auxiliary contact, limit switch etc. (x) Checking & lubrication of various interlocks. (xi) Submission of test report in standard format of vacuum circuit breaker(VCB). (b) Tools & testing instruments reqd for servicing of VCB will be arranged by the contractor. (c) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of grease, cleaning material service & list of spares required for preventive /breakdown maintenance (d) After servicing report will be furnished to Engineer-in Charge in standard format approved by Engineer-in Charge. (e) List of spare parts required for preventive maintenance/emergency breakdowns shall be submitted to Engineer-in Charge after 1st inspection.

Taking out ACB of make Siemens of capacity 800 Amps to 1500 Amps, 3pole ,415 Volts, 125 KA indoor type from its sub cubicle and carrying out routine maintenance as per manufacturer maintenance manual, examine the moving isolating contacts for any dis colouration, cluster contacts, remove the arc chutes, check the SMC moulding are intacts, examine the moving contacts, main contacts silver tips, spring mechanism, clean all contacts with a suitable solvent and contacts re-greased with HP multipurpose grease, check setting of all contacts, re-adjusted if required, and re-greased with HP multipurpose grease, testing of all tripping device like manual trip, under voltage, shunt trip release, over current and earth fault tripping device, readjusted and confirm all tripping device is in healthy condition, check and record IR value of ACB with 1.1. KV LT megger calibrating ground fault / short circuit, overload relays for tripping & timing complete and rendering test report all as specified and as directed.

Notes : (a) Rates is inclusive of fixing of spares if any reqd. (b) Spare parts which required to replace will be paid under respective items of Sch 'A'. (c) The scope of work includes the following :- (i) Inspection & cleaning the mechanism house (ii) Operation of door interlock, interlocking plate & shutter operation inside of panel. (iii) Check the Mechanical ON-OFF function, electrical & mechanical operation and damage part of ACB. (iv) Re-greasing and oiling of breaker mechanism, adjustment of various mechanism setting as required, checking contact tightness, contact erosion pins, manually vacuum check of ACB. (v) Rack in-Rack out operation in Test & service position of ACB trolley. (vi) Megger test (IR value - 1KV / 2.5KV) E-RYB, RY-YB, BR-R'R, Y'Y, B'B. (vii) CRM Test (contact resistance) of Vacuum Interrupter R, Y, B in on condition out side of panel (viii) Function of closing coil, Trip coil, spring charging motor, auxiliary contact, limit switches etc.

M & L for calibration of relays by primary current/voltage injection test complete for 33 KV/11 KV VCB panels and ACB panels/DG panels complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting to old steel surfaces of transformer, cable trays, panel board / LT out door panel board of DSS 17, DSS 17 A & B with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade using spray gun including cleaning/ removing, dust, dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair of current transformer 33 KV indoor type of ratio 100/1-1 single phase, 50hz, current ratio 800-400, including removing of old unserviceable CT complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair of potential transformer indoor type, primary voltage 33KV, secondary voltage 11 KV single phase, 50hz, current ratio 800-400, including removing of old unserviceable PT all as specified and as directed.
