Supplying and fixing in repairs 20 mm bore, galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, medium grade complete with all fittings, laid in trenches / under roads, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps , bolts , nuts and washers for cable/earth strip protection/ fixing lightening conductors etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per item No.1 above but 40 mm bore

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for existing earthing pits with pits cover including painting complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down old unserviceable Earthing pit of any type with accessories including removing of demolished material from work site at any distance out side MD land complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground( earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level ) with the top edges of plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level connected to GI strip of size 32 mm x 6mm thick as earth lead by means of brazing, bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron protected by 40 mm dia Galvanised iron pipe 'light grade' and connected to main switch board or main control board as directed all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part 1 complete all as specified and directed including testing on completion. Notes:- 1) The unit rate also including for excavation, earth work in any type of strata, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 mix, Type C1 pit, pre cast cover RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab of size 540 mm x 540 mm x 50 mm with 8 mm dia TMT bar @150 center to center both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia mild steel bar,GI funnel with GI watering pipe 15 mm bore 'medium grade', wire mesh and charcoal or coke of alternative layers of 15 cm, 40 mm bore galvanised iron pipe "light grade" for protection of earth lead connection. 2) If the desired earth resistance is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to copper earth lead strip of size 20 mm x 3 mm thick by means of brazing, bolts, nut, check nuts and washers made out of brass and connected to main switch board or main control board all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part 1. complete all as specified and directed including testing on completion. Notes:- 1) The unit rate also including for excavation, earth work in any type of strata, PCC 1:3:6 mix, Type C1 pit, pre cast cover RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab of size 540 mm x 540 mm x 50 mm with 8 mm dia TMT bar @150 center to center both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia mild steel bar 15 mm bore galvanised iron pipe 'medium grade' for watering, funnel, wire mesh and charcoal or coke of alternative layers of 15 cm and 40 mm bore galvanised iron pipe "light grade" for protection of earth lead connection. 2) If the desired earth resistance is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department.

Material and labour for free Chemical earthing system complete with 03(three) nos. copper bonded rods , 17.2 mm dia 3000 mm long electrode buired at suitable distance apart directly in ground, to bore holes of 120 mm dia vertically to a depth not less than 3.6 m deep below ground level with top edge of earth electrode at a depth not less than 100 mm below normal ground level, provision of clamps or brazed or both for each copper bonded rods made of copper and copper strip of size 20 mm x 3 mm for interconnection of three nos copper bonded rods and laying atleast 500 mm below in the ground and further connected to test point terminal block including back filling of bore holes wit advanced earth enhancing compound 96 Kg (minimum) for artificial treatment to soil so as to achieve earth resistance below 01 ohms as specified in para 19.140 of SSR Part-I (2009) including three coats of white wash on plastered/PCC surface (Exposed surface) and testing Note : 1) The unit rate also including for excavation, earth work in any type of strata, PCC 1:3:6 mix, Type C1 pit, Pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab 450 mm x 450 mm x 50 mm reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 150 mm center to center both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 12 mm dia MS round bar. complete in addition to item No. 1 (a) to (e) of preamble (notes) under sub - heading earthing, specified on SI. page No. 422 of SSR Part-II. 2) All Joint are with nut, bolts as well as brazing. 3) Copper strip and test terminal block shall be measured and paid separately under repective items. 4) If the desired earth resistance is not achive during testing as per IS, the complete earthing shall be carried out by the contractor at his own cost and no extra claim shall be admissable.

Supply and fixing in repair for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 20 mm x 3 mm thick, copper strip using porcelain clit/post insulators, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 25 mm x 4 mm thick, galvanised iron strip using porcelain clit/post insulators, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required for 25 mm x 3.15 mm thick, aluminium strip using porcelain clit/post insulators, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorous bronze, size 75mm x 75mm x 25 mm thick, drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8 mm dia. 25 mm long hexagonal head screws, including MS box 2 mm thick of suitable size for protection of test point terminal, including dismantling of old unserviceable test point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs Air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12mm dia and 300mm long fixed on Galvanised iron pipes with copper / aluminium / GI strip for earth conductivity to ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs Air termination, single pointed, aluminium solid rod 12mm dia and 300mm long fixed on Galvanised iron pipes with copper/aluminium /GI strip for earth conductivity to ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out old earthing material from earthing pit having earth value more than 10 Ohms like salt, charcoal, magnesium sulphate and supply and refilling with new salt, charcoal, magnesium sulphate in existing earthing to obtained earth value below 5 Ohms complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in repair Gl funnel for earthing pits with proper existing size for fixing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repair to existing earth continuity conductor strips and straightening and dressing strip of any type and fixing in existing position with new saddle/connector /insulators with screw, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repair and refixing of damaged/tilted Air termination rod of any size with suitable nuts & bolts and PCC and connecting on copper strip/GI complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 m wide but exc 1.50 m in deep for laying of under ground cable, poles and stay assembles in soft loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in Soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs self closing taps, 15 mm bore, cast iron or malleable cast rion , galvanised, screwed for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
