Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundations etc. or for trenches for laying underground cables, pole stay assemblies, but not exceeding 10 sqm on plan getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundations etc. or for trenches for laying GI pipes for cable protection, but not exceeding 10 sqm on plan getting out in hard / dence soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point

Supply and Laying dry sand as in cushioning of underground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 cm (15 cm under the cable & 8 cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 cm thickness all complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Only punned down thickness of sand shall be measured for payment.

Material and labour for well burnt bricks sub class 'B' of size 230 x 115 x 75 mm having crushing strength 75 kg/sqcm best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection including taking out of old one and removing from site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down copper / aluminium point wiring (light, fan, bell, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets etc and removing materials from site for taking credit and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down carefully ceiling / exhaust fan, sealing cable end, dismantling blades and removing fan and blades to store and refixing back to its original position and connecting up including provision of cable from ceiling rose or connector to fan, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (Any minor repairs if required during execution of this item, shall be made by the contractor without any extra cost to the department)
