Removing and cleaning the existing water proofing layer including dust, dirt and all loose particles from the surface of the roof/ construction joints by scraping and. then applying modified polymer mortar to make the surface good, free from local depressions /undulations and to the level of the rain water pipes. There after providing and laying a coat of solvent based bitumen primer of DOCTOR FIXIT MAKE @ 3 to 5 Sqm. per liter over the cleaned existing surface and laying 3mm thick APP (Atactic polypropylene Polymer) membrane of DOCTOR FIXIT MAKE or Torch shield or super Thermolay or equivalent over the primed surface and same shall be fixed firmed with the help of a gas burner i/c 100 mm over lapping at the joints in all directions if required (No extra payment shall be made for over lapping). The joints shall be treated properly by heating and trawling to make the surface water tight. The treatment shall be provided on the existing rounding on vertical walls up to the required height i/c the lap end. The treatment shall be properly sealed as per the instructions/ directions of the Engineer-in-charge. The guarantee period shall be 5 years from the completion date. Any Seepage/ Leakage observed at treated surface of work, it shall be attended by the firm/ contractor at his own cost.
