REPAIRS TO CERTAIN ROADS AND HARDSTANDING TO OTM AND MD ACCN OF HAIG LINES AREA UNDER AGE B/R HAIG LINE DEOLALI

M & L for Repair to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud over water scoring sunken surfaces in road, path etc. Cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming complete all as spd and directed.

M&L preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally clearing the surfaces with mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade RS1 type (packed bitumen emulsion) conforming to IS:8887-1978 at a rate of application of 2.5kg/10sqm on bituminous surface as specified in MoRTH Fifth revision specification for road and bridge works, using mechanical sprayer/means complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam laid using mechanical paver for any width of road, rolled & compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with binder content (paving VG - 30 grade bitumen) of min. 4% by weight of total mix incl rolling and consolidating with power roller all as specified & directed.

M&L for applying evenly tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade RS1 type (packed bitumen emulsion) conforming to IS:8887-1978 at a rate of application of 2.5kg/10sqm on bituminous surface as specified in MoRTH Fifth revision specification for road and bridge works, using mechanical sprayer/means complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickeness laid using mechanical paver for any width of road with max 5.0 % binder content, paving butimen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all specified & directed.

M&L for painting line, dashes, arrow, letters etc. on road pavement (parking etc.) providing & applying 2.0 mm thick road marking strips with glass beads (reflective) of specified shade /colour using hot thermoplastic material fully / semi-automatic application machine fitted with profile shoe heater driven by experienced operator on road surfaces including preparation of previously treated surfaces , cleaning surfaces of all dirt, scales, oils, grease & foreign materials etc. complete all as specified and directed.
