Dismantling fencing wire mesh, barbed wire any type and any size Note: The unit rate quoted is deemed to included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass/ trimming down shurbs/ branches/ small trees with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from fencing post to outside MD land

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) any tyoe of soil each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete.

Cement concrete type B-2, 1:2:4 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

PCC in foundation filling and mass concrete type D-2, 1:4:8, using 40mm graded aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc as directed (each line of wire to be measured)

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and getting out in hard/dense soil.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in hard and dense soil.

Supply Only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. Make:-Dr. Fixit Pidi Proof and equivalent.

Precast cement concrete providing type C-1, 1:3:6 ( 20 mm graded aggregate) with solid building block n exc 10cm width and seeting with mortar 1:4 (with plain or interlocking joint as directed) all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete including removal of existing plaster and removal of debris all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately. (b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nuts, n exc 5cm long diameter of neck 5 to 10mm including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, complete all as specified and as directed..

Preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete.

Note :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

Straining and fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh size and type of to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc inclunding provision 10mm dia MS bars as line wire welded to fencing posts and MS flat iron for fixing fencing wire mesh complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Chain link mesh and made of galvanised wire and shall confirm to IS 2712.2003 and having zinc coating of type heavy as laid down in IS 4826 including line wires/ binding wire etc fixed to any type of standards posts complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Weight of chain link fencing to be assesed by BOO order by the GE prior to execution.

Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 60mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick and packing the sides with PCC 1:3:6 complete all as specified and directed. Note : The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of Stone Slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors,aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing of debris outside of MD land

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not other wise provided for all as directed

Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging also fastening and fixing complete

75mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates), as in Plinth protection/ Path including making joints at 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including demolition of existing concrete and removal of debris out of MD land complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) in of any description and in any position and removal of debris out of MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Reinforced Cement Concrete Type B1 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) cast in situ in lintels up to 1.5 M span, cills and other similar bands, plinth courses, parapets, copings, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including use and waste of form work complete all as specified and directed.

Rolled Mild Steel work as in cover for SW tank including cleats, brackets, etc., two coats of synthetic enamel painting over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Welded steel wire fabric ,size 25mmx25mm,thick 4mm, cut to length,bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed complete to wood or steel members not excceding 4Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Vitrified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, dark shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer ,15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:6 including taking down existing tile and removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (b) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

Framed work such as grills, gratings, angles etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of static water tanks and similar work con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 including dismantling/ taking down existing framed work and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint including one coat of red oxide primer all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Joist, channel, angles or tee sections fixed independently, without connection platess etc all as directed

Two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide/zinc crome including preparation of steel surfaces of any description n exc 10 cm width or girth

Providing 100mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base to tiles complete including demolition of concrete and removing rubish material to out side MD land all as specified and directed .

Chequered cement concrete coloured tiles 300 x 300 x 25 mm thick, 400 x 400 x 25 mm thick machine pressed heavy duty any pattern/type, chemically treated set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry as in paths, etc and cut and polished using grey cement and pigments over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified. Note : The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of Stone Slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar

Cement concrete PCC 1:2:4 (Type B-1) using 20mm stone aggregate in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as directed

Hard core of broken/crushed stone aggregate of gauge n.exc 63 mm deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

10mm dia round bars, cut to length ,hooking ends as in wooven/ straining bar(stiches through chain link fencing between post)

High strength corrosion resistant deformed TMTsteel bar of grade Fe-500/500D , 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Galvanised steel punched type concertina coil 1050mm dia (dia of coil with unstreched) and streched for a length of 6mm while fixing and fixed to angle iron with 3.15mm dia GI wire all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Precast RCC type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in manhole/drain covers set in CM 1:6.
