Dismantling existing unserviceable Aluminium conductors, steel reinforced (ACSR conductor) from overhead lines on LT poles, of any type and any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Dismantling existing unserviceable continuous GI earth wire / guard / cradles of any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting and re-stretching ACSR conductor of any size and re-fixing with and including new 2mm dia aluminum binding wire complete all as specified. Note :- (i) The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for cutting / trimming of tree branches touching / approaching the LT over lines upto 3 metre width on each side with hacksaw / axe to clear the LT line including disposal of trimmed branches 100 metre away inside the cantonment area & cleaning site as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Length of each conductor shall be measured as one length.

Supplying, fixing & stretching aluminium conductor steel, reinforced (ACSR) of any size fixed on LT poles fixed on insulators and binding with & including 2 mm binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: - (i) The ACSR conductors shall be conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminum tapes etc. which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size multiplied by length of span and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS.

S&F GI wire including stretching on LT poles as contineous earth wire or for guarding and cradles including binding as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: -(i) For payment purpose, weight of galvanised wire shall only be considered. Clamps, eye hooks where provided shall be measured and paid for separately

S&F in replacement shackle type insulators, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green for working pressure 1100 volts grade of 100 mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of 31mm x 5mm size,14mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement pin type insulator of size 100mm height, 65 mm dia porcelain, vitreous white, brown or green insulator suitable for 1100 volts grade including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two GI washer and one GI nut complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating, necessary form work and fair finishing all exposed faces of concrete without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles, filling & mass concrete including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of thermoplastic polycarbonate IP 65 outdoor type in accordance with EN 60 529 (dust proof, weather proof & water proof) power distribution board of suitable size as per Engineering practice, shock proof, rust proof, corrosion free, acid & chemical resistant, fire retardant & self extingushing, UV Resistant, silica and halogen free recyclable material, glow wire tested at 960⁰C in accordance with IEC 60 695-2-11. type tasted as per IEC 61 439-1. total insulated with system. M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of PCC pole and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint in black and yellow colour in alternate strips of 30 cm each upto 1.50 metre height from top of PCC coping and applying two coat of aluminum paint over cross arms, brackets, bracings, clamps, hooks etc. and marking pole number with white synthetic enamel paint in 80mm high letters, over black synthetic enamel paint base of size 20cm x 20cm including applying two coats of white wash to coping of poles all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Pole number shall be marked with white enamel paint over a base of size 20cm x 20cm prepared with two coats of black enamel paint on pole surfaces.

Notes :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection and GI pipe shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Road cutting / floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Taking out old unserviceable underground LT Cable with strandad aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade cross sectional area 10 sqmm 2 core to 95 sqmm 3.5 core form trenches / floor / road / pipe / along poles and relaying in the same location after repair complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation & earthwork shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ.

S&F in replacement cross arms, bracings, stiffeners, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel confirming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, binding cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
