Rate contract for repair and maintenance of Bharat Sanchar Bhawan, BSNL CO and other building/s under the jurisdiction of BSNL Civil Sub Division BSB Janpath New Delhi for the Period One Year I e w e f July 2026 to June 2027 FY 2026 27

SUBHEAD-II (Non DSR-2023 ITEMS)

Machine cleaning of upholstered SOFA by low-moisture dry foam shampoo system as per following procedure:- (i) Pre-cleaning the dust with suitable brush and vacuum cleaner. (ii) Deep cleaning of upholstery with spray injection/extraction method by using approved detergents (Taski TR -1 03 or equivalent) to remove stains, grease/oil etc. (iii) Cleaning of upholstery by applying approved fabric shampoo (Taski TR 1 01 or equivalent ) manually and by pressure machine . (iv) Thorough vacuum cleaning of upholstery to remove any crystallized shampoo residue and drying the upholstery. (v) Cleaning the PU/wooden/steel arm rests and framework of sofa complete as per the direction of Engineer in change. (a) For sofas, one seat shall be counted as one unit. (c) The work shall be carried out outside office hours or on holidays and agency has to make necessary arrangement for the same. The work may have to be done in parts as and when the sofa are available.

Machine cleaning of upholstered CHAIRS by low-moisture dry foam shampoo system as per following procedure:- (i) Pre-cleaning the dust with suitable brush and vacuum cleaner. (ii) Deep cleaning of upholstery with spray injection/extraction method by using approved detergents (Taski TR -1 03 or equivalent) to remove stains, grease/oil etc. (iii) Cleaning of upholstery by applying approved fabric shampoo (Taski TR 1 01 or equivalent ) manually and by pressure machine . (iv) Thorough vacuum cleaning of upholstery to remove any crystallized shampoo residue and drying the upholstery. (v) Cleaning the PU/wooden/steel arm rests and framework of chairs complete as per the direction of Engineer in change. OTE a) One chair of any type (computer chair, executive chair, visitor chair, high back, low back etc.) shall be counted as one unit. (c) The work shall be carried out outside office hours or on holidays and agency has to make necessary arrangement for the same. The work may have to be done in parts as and when the chairs/sofa are available.

Replacement of upholstery of sofa and like as per followng procedure - (i) Taking out existing upholstery and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metre lend. (ii) Providing and fixing 25mm thick form, cashment cloth and/or markin fabric, and finally new uplholstery cloth/fabric of approved quality and manufacture (basic cost of fabric/cloth shall not be less than Rs.250.00 per running metrehaving standard available width) including stitching as per existing pattern on seat, back, armrest etc. wherever required. (iii) French spirit polishing (wherever required) to exposed wooden surface to desired finish to give a good uniform look. (iv) Minor repairs to sofa or chairs such as nailing or fixing of loose joints, re-welding of steel parts, fixing missing screws, bolts etc. are included in item. The rate shall include cost of all labour and material as above. Nothing extra shall be paid if the furniture is to be taken to factory for replacment of upholstery or for minor repairs.) a) Single seater full upholstery sofa seat of size up to 600 x 600 mm (length of the fabric to be consumed shall be 4.50m ± 10% variation) .

b) Double seater full upholstery sofa seat of size up to 600 x 600 mm (length of the fabric to be consumed shall be 8.00m ± 10% variation)

c) Triple seater full upholstery sofa seat of size up to 600 x 600 mm (length of the fabric to be consumed shall be 12.00m ± 10% variation)

Replacement of upholstery of sofa, chairs etc. as per followng procedure - (i) Taking out existing upholstery and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metre lend. (ii) Providing and fixing 25mm thick form (density 25 to 30 kg/cm3), cashment cloth and/or markin fabric, and finally new uplholstery cloth/fabric of approved quality and manufacture (basic cost of fabric/cloth shall not be less than Rs.200/- per running metre having standard available width) including stitching as per existing pattern on seat, back, armrest etc. wherever required. (iii) Minor repairs to chairs comprises of re-welding of steel parts, fixing missing hardware viz screws, bolts etc. (Note: The rate shall include cost of all labour and material as above. Nothing extra shall be paid if the furniture item/s is to be taken to factory for replacment of upholstery or for minor repairs a) Low back visitor chairs, computer chairs etc. (length of the fabric to be consumed shall be 1.50m ± 10% variation) .

b) High back executive chairs and like (length of the fabric to be consumed shall be 3.00m ± 10% variation) ..

Supplying sofa set seat 100mm thick having 40 kg/cm3 density with size 530mm x 550mm with variation of ± 5%) and of approved quality. (Sleeepwell/Kurlon or equivalent)
