PETTY REPAIRS MAINTENANCE OF BR NATURE OF COMPLAINTS AND PLUMBING WORK AT OFFICERS ACCN AT CARRIAPPA VIHAR EME WKSP MD ACCN MT LINE IN THE AREA OF AGE BR II UNDER GE WEST DELHI CANTT 10

Attending and rectify day to day complaints related to water supply & plumbing work such as leakage of bib cock, pillar cock, stop cock, angle valve, wall mixer, shower roses,health faucet/Jet sprays etc, including removal of air lock/blockage of water in GI tubing of any description, changing the washers, clearing of air lock in the pipe, leaking low level or high level flushing cistern by adjusting the float valve including removal and replacement of rubber washer in PVC siphons, adjusting the float valve of over head tanks, leaking PVC bends/galvanised iron pipes etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : All T&P such as die set, washers of all size, teflon tape, M-seal, screws, nails and the like incl necessary form work and scaffolding upto seventh floor and safety measures to make functional and leak proof, all petty materials like spindle, phase, cap suitable for existing made etc. are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.

Attending and rectify day to day complaints related to Repairs to carpenter work in repairs to joinery (wooden / steel / aluminium) including iron/aluminium mongery, pelmet box, curtain rod, door springs, Hydraulic Door Closer, rolling shutters, etc requiring carpentry work and carrying out minor repairs such as tightening of screws/nails, wires of false ceiling, easening of joinery, door spring etc including fixing glass panes & wirecloth to joinery and all other carpentry works & petty repairs materials like screws/nails, plugs, grease, etc to make it functional complete all as specified and directed. Note : (All T&P and petty materials like screws & nails of different sizes, wooden beading and any other materials required etc to make it functional shall be arranged by the contractor which are deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor).

Attending and rectify day to day complaints related to different type of repairs of steel windows/doors, rolling shutters/steel doors of garrages and stores and other misc works, repair by welding (run or spot welding as per site requirement) with and including all T&P viz. welding machine, gloves, black welding glass/goggles, welding rod, safety tools etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :The cost of box type hinges, steel handle and peg stay etc. shall deemed to be included in quoted rate against this item.

Note for Item No. 1 to 3 :- (i) Contractor or his authorised rep will report daily at 0900 hrs and onwards at complaint cell for collection of complaints from the concerned JE;s/MES rep and distribute to all complaints/ detailing to tradesman, monitoring the work done and taking the complaint slip from trademans on every working day and re-submit the same after rectifying the complaint at complaint cell, failing which a recovery of Rs 1000/- per day shall be recovered from the contractor's due payments.

(i) Contractor or his supervisor/site Engineer will report daily at 0900 hrs at complaint cell for collection of complaints from the concerned JE in-charge, in case after checking & attending the defects, if it is not possible to rectify the defects within 08 hrs, the facts shall be brought to the notice of JE than after to Engineer in charge by the contractor/ his rep immediately. If Engineer-in-charge is satisfied with contractor's view, no recovery will be made on this account. However complaints related to sewage line blockage /pipe replacement etc whatever is applicable shall be attended on same day whether it is "Sunday" or "Gazetted Holidays" and nothing extra shall be payable to contractor on this account

(ii) Contractor or his supervisor / site engineer will report daily at 0900 hrs at complaint cell for noting of day to day complaints in complaints register, issue of complaints slip to tradesmen and enter after completion in complaint register as instructed by JE,s. In case of absense of contractor rep for noting complaints, a penalty of Rs 1000.00 per day will be deducted from the contractor bill.

(iii) The complaint shall be attended & defects shall be rectified within 08 hrs i.e from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs excluding Sunday & gazetted holiday, commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint slip failing which a Penalty @ Rs.500/- Per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon / imposed on the contractor and necessary recovery shall be made from his dues on this account. The contractor at the begining of contract will provide printed 30 x complaints slip book as per proforma let wiht 400 leaf each booklet

(iv) Any item / material which are required to be replaced shall be paid under respective item under this schedule here in after as " Supply Only".

(v) The labour / tradesmen required for replacement of "Supply onl" items are included under this item. However labour charges for items where indicated 'M&L' , 'S&F' and 'in repairs' shall be included in respective item.

(vi) The above all aspect shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the respective item.

Supply only spindle for 15mm CP / brass suitable for existing bib cock, stop cock & concealed stop valves, WHB mixers, wall mixers, pillar cocks etc complete all as specified and directed.(Fixing will be done under item no 1)

Supply only 15mm dia small fittings galvanised iron medium grade such as sockets, elbow, nipple, tee, union, plugs, reducers (ISI marked), complete all as specified and directed.(Fixing will be done under item no 1)

All as per item No. 12 above but 20mm dia.(Fixing will be done under item no 1)

S&F in repair two way angle stop valve 15mm dia chromium plated complete all as directed.

S & F in repair 1000 ltrs capacity rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks double layer (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position including dismantling existing water tanks and removing to stores etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 500 ltrs capacity rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks double layer (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position including dismantling existing water tanks and removing to stores etc complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside cleaning of overhead PVC water tank of capacity 500ltr including re-fixing in position including all fittings( GI connection, tank nipple etc) complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside cleaning of overhead PVC water tank of capacity 1000 ltr including re-fixing in position including all fittings( GI connection, tank nipple etc) complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of Vegetation from wall and roof by cutting shrubs, wild growth/tree not exc 30cm girth and removing complete vegetation growth from walls including taking out roots from roof/brick walls and making good the disturbed surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 or CM 1:3 as directed by Engr-in-charge and disposing the rubbish from site (MoD land) for upto double storey block complete all as specified and directed

S & F in repair powder coated aluminium grill of powder coating of minimum 50 micron with aluminium mesh of size 50 mm x 50 mm with square tube solid 6 mm thick including aluminium channel of suitable size thickness of channel 1.5 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only aluminium alloy, anodised, sliding door bolt with hasp, staple (bolt type) and fixing clips of sheet, cast or extruded sections and fixing bolts and sliding bolts of extruded sections or cast-aluminium alloy and fixed complete all as specified and directed.(Fixing will be done under item no 2)

Supply only 200 mm long aluminium anodised barrel tower bolts of extruded section complete all as specified and directed.(Fixing will be done under item no 2)

Supply only 150 mm long aluminium anodised barrel tower bolts of extruded section complete all as specified and directed.(Fixing will be done under item no 2)

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of wall and applying two coat of Oil bound distemper with roller complete over wall care putty (minimum thickness 1 mm) all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of ceiling and applying two coat of Oil bound distemper with roller complete over wall care putty (minimum thickness 1 mm) all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of wall and applying two coat of apex with roller over a coat of wall care putty (minimum thickness 1 mm) complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of floor, hearth or wall tiling including internal layer of terrazzo dado and mortar bedding removing rubbish of the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for vitrified light coloured joint free tiles 600x600 7 to 9 mm thick (square/rectangular) polished , in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match over 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 etc complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto as per item No 35 above but on vertical surfaces of wall over & incl CM(1:4) 10mm thick cement plaster etc. comnplete all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured glazed ceramic tiles in vertical surfaces 600x300X7 mm thick joint free as in vertical surfaces of wall as dado/skirting, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match and including rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on brick wall of concrete surfaces and finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured joint free non skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement, laid over and including cement screed bed 15mm thick in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Coloured Cement concrete Pre polished & reflective type chequered tiles 30cm X 30cm X 25mm thick machine pressed; set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors over 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 and cut and pointed with white cement and pigment complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 18 to 20mm thick black granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in window-cills, cooking platforms and like in including 15mm thick CM 1:4 including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite incl polishing, and making hole in the platform for gas connection complete and incl nosing of the edges half round including dismantalling old and rubbish off from MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) as in sunken floors, sub base floorv paving and any position and any thickness upto seven story building including removal of rubbish out side complex (MOD land) , complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Steel water tubing medium grade, galvanised with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors 15 mm bore including cutting chases, pinning in brick wall cutting n.exc 10 cm girth and making good to facings where required and pointing in CM 1:3 including taking out old pipes complete all as specified and directed.

S&F GI tubing medium grade galvanised with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors 20 mm bore including taking out old pipes complete all as specified and directed. Note : The work shall be carriedout in multistories bldgs upto 7th storeys and necessary sacffolding/safety measures be taken and no extra payments will be given for the scaffolding/safety measures.

Deduct Credit: for demolished/dismantled material of (-) Rs 90825.00 (Minus) as listed in Schedule 'A' Part II (Credit Schedule) Note: Tenderer's shall not quote against this item. The amount of Credit Schedule is tentative, however the same shall be considered to arrive at the contract sum.
