REPAIRS REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION NETWORK INCLUDING REPLACEMENT OF OLD US CI GI PIPES, REPLACEMENT OF SLUICE VALVES REPLACEMENT

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exeeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation & removing/laying of pipes line etc and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exeeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation & removing/laying of pipes line and getting out in soft disintegrated rock complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Returning, filling excavated soil in trenches including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Dismantling and taking out unserviceable/rusted pitted GI pipe & connections for 20mm bore pipe from trenches, wall complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and laying 20mm bore galvanised steel water tubing medium grade, ISI marked with and including all new fittings such as bends, elbows, tees, unions, nipples, short pieces etc as required at site, laid in trenches/ wall and connection to existing water mains complete all as specified and directed. Note for Serial item No 8 to 9:- The quoted rates deemed to be inclusive of cutting, jointing and testing of the pipe.

Laying only serviceable CI pipe 80mm bore spigot/socket ends complete with all fittings as Tee, Bends, tail piece, rubber joints etc and connecting to existing water main complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for Ser item No 26 to 28:- (i) Old serviceable pipe obtained from Ser item No 23 to 25 shall be re-used. (ii) CI Special shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply & fix 100mm dia bore with socket and spigot ductile iron pressure pipes, class K-9, centrifugally cast with socket spigot ends conforming to IS 8239/ 2000 with cement mortor lining inside the pipes with outside zinc coating suitable for push-on-joint (rubber gasket D jointing) in any length including DI specials as required at site complete confirming to IS 8329/2000 and connecting to existing water mains, all jointing materials etc and making good for distributed surfaces of roads, pathways etc while laying the pipe line at site, site clearance for route of pipe line, welding, cutting the existing CI/DI/MS pipe line of any size up to 200 mm dia for inserting branch connections etc all as specified and as directed. Note:- Lead Joints/ D Joints and DI specials will be measured & paid separately. Contractor is responsible for repair/ replacement of any damages to the existing structures while performing the task.

Supply and fix 80mm bore cast iron sluice valve PN-1.6 conforming to IS 14846/ 2000, ISI Marked with MS spindle and iron wheel head with both ends flanged including jointing material like new rubber gasket, bolts and nuts etc and testing after completion including taking down old unserviceable sluice valve fixed at any location complete all as specified and directed.

All as per ser item No 31 above but 100mm bore.

Supply and fix 15mm dia gun-metal gate valves with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipes and testing complete including taking down old unserviceable gate valves from existing pipe line at any location complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for Construction of PCC solid Masonry valve chamber of size 1000 X 1000 X 1000 mm (Internal dimensions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick and 150 mm wide off sets alround over 100 mm thick hard core , 200 mm thick PCC solid block walls built in CM 1:6, 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 coping finished even and smooth, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth, without using extra cement internally including top of floor including necessary earth work excavation in hard/Dense soil, 3 mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 25 mm X 25 mm X 6 mm thick angle iron frame work with hold fasts embedded in PCC with locking arrangement, mild steel handle and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer ,disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour cutting of GI/CI existing water pipe line of 150mm bore size in position for insertion of new tee, colars for branches connection etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- CI/ DI fittings, joints and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per ser item No 40 above but 80mm bore size.

Material and labour cast iron specials confirming to IS, suitable for spigot and socket pipes such as Bends (any type, radius and angle), Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), Tee pieces (single or double branch) angle/ radius and straight connecting pieces but all ends flanged branch, cross (all sockets or socket & spigot collars, caps and plugs for joining up to 150 mm bore CI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix ductile iron (DI) specials confirming to IS, suitable for spigot/soketed pipe such as tee, tail pieces, coller, bends, etc of any type and angle of size upto 150 mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fix rotational moulded polythylene water storage tank of 500 liters capacity (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part -I complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix rotational moulded polythylene water storage tank of 750 liters capacity (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part -I complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix in repairs chromium plated bib taps cast copper alloy, fancy type CP with crutch or butterfly handle screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferule and fixed of size 15mm bore complete including necessary GI fitting accessories like, socket, nipple, reducers bends all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs Ball brass valves, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut, with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed both ends and connected to ball complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed and tested complete suitable for 20 mm dia including necessary GI fittings required at site complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 48 above but 25mm dia.

Material and labour for burning out old lead joint for CI pipe/DI pipe of 80 mm bore including retrieving of lead and stacking at site and spun yarn etc for spigot & socket pipes and fittings and Material and labour for run lead joint including spun yarn and testing for size 80 mm dia CI/ DI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 50 above but 100 mm dia bore pipes.

All as per item No. 50 above but 150 mm dia bore pipes.

Supply, installation and testing of water meter 150 mm dia bore made up of brass including provn of stainer and connecting pieces, jointing materials etc., and connected to water mains complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting the existing road straight by manual, depth and width not less than 30 cm for pipes up to 100 mm dia, 60 Cm for pipes from 150 mm to 200 mm dia and 75 Cm for pipes above 250 mm dia and filling back with excavated soil up to 75 % road portion and 25 % shall be made with cement concrete 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded aggregate stone and applying bitumin to match with existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete type C1, 1:3:6 (20 mm graded crushed trap stone aggregate) as in coping and the like with and including use of form work complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for Construction of stone masonary wall of random rubble uncoursed well bonded ,bedded and solidly hearted built in cement mortar 1:4 for Pipe pillers/Posts complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for 15mm thick plastering in CM 1:4 on fair face of stone or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour 3mm thick MS sheet cover, welded to 50 mm x 50 mm x 6mm MS angle frame fixed with hold fasts in PCC 1:2:4 type B1, coping 50 mm thick in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 20mm x 6mm flat iron hinges with locking arrangement , MS handles and applying two coats of synthetic eanmel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer to all steel surfaces including dismantling of old valve chambers covers complete all as specified and directed
